Changes

After a week of staying in a hotel in Fermi Country, Victor decided to buy a villa to be with Esmeralda. After all, he will stay here for good. He invited Esmeralda to his new home. He chuckled upon imagining himself getting married. "Me, getting married?"

"Vic?" Esmeralda noticed his sudden smile.

"Nothing, I just remembered something. Let us go inside." Then he lit a cigarette and started to smoke. He is smoking every time he is confused about something.

"How come I never saw you smoked when we're together in Centaurus?" She asked while she was slowly getting the cigarette in his mouth, and stepped on it without any hesitation. He is a little bit upset, and it was noticed by Esmeralda.

"I hate the smell of cigarettes. It makes me nauseous. Are you angry babe?" He kept silent. He just doesn't have the patience in answering her now. He gulped to hold back his urge to yell at her. He remembered that he is now Victor Alex Tan who is deeply in love with this woman.

They continued to walk until they reached the doorstep of the villa. Esmeralda noticed that all his servants are male. She never spotted a female ever since they arrived.

"Why did you only hire men?" She asked out of curiosity while they were ascending on a spiral staircase after their meal.

"I don't like any woman in my house, except you," Victor told her while leading her to a master's bedroom. "This will be our bedroom after our wedding." He told her while opening the door.

"Huh!" She was surprised. He never proposed to her and now he's talking about a wedding?

"You never talked to my parents and you did not propose to me yet. Where's my ring?" she expected that he'll get down on his knees while holding a ring, and say the words "Will you marry me?" as she has seen in some romantic movies.

Victor was surprised too. He never thought of it. It's not his style to give a gift to anyone, especially a ring. Those ladies are the one who is proposing to him, but he always turns them down immediately because he doesn't like responsibility.

"I'm sorry babe. My mind was set on marrying you the moment I found you. It never crossed my mind to buy an engagement ring. Can I propose without a ring?" he said while he faced her. They are already inside his room. Before she can utter any word, Victor got down on his knees. He held her hand, kissed it, and said "Esme babe, will you marry me?"

The way he called her is something new to her, but still, she said yes without any hesitation. Just then, Victor stood up and embraced her. He cupped her face, kissed her forehead then looked into her eyes. He doesn't know why but there seem to have a magnet when he looked down on her beautiful red and full lips, which pulled his face down to hers.

He gave her a quick kiss. When he felt her soft and warm lips, he wanted more. So he kissed her again a little longer. When she did not resist, he deepened the kiss more until he can't stop anymore. He kissed her whole face and back to her lips until they fell on the king-sized bed. He can't hold back anymore since something down there is already throbbing in excitement. His hands were everywhere on top of her clothes, which made her cheeks burn.

This is the first man who caressed her whole body like this. His hands skillfully slid underneath her clothes. She doesn't have the strength to stop him as her voice was devoured by him and her knees and arms turned into jelly with this unknown pleasure she is feeling right now.

When he did not feel any resistance again, he wanted more than this. His hands voluntarily went down. He lost his control again when he felt her softness, which made his body heat up like he has a high fever.

She shivered and felt as if a bucket of ice water was poured over her. She suddenly stopped responding to his aggressive kisses. "Babe, please. I'm so sorry. I'm against premarital sex. It's my fault I allowed this to happen. I'm awfully sorry." she said catching her breath while stopping his hands from going further.

"I really love you, Victor. You are my first in everything, but I'm really not into sex before marriage." She explained as she looked at his eyes that are burning with desire.

Why does she always notice changes in the man she loved? But she just shrugged that thought. Maybe it's normal to feel passionate since they're not been with each other for almost two years.

Victor is panting as he stopped, and lies on his back as he closed his eyes. He lay there motionless until his breathing turned back to normal.

"Come, I will escort you home." He suddenly stood up and headed to the door. He doesn't have a plan to apologize for his actions. She followed while fixing her messed clothes and hair. Esmeralda wants to maintain her virginity until their marriage, so she told herself that from this day onwards, they should not be alone for too long. Victor became aggressive, compared to when they were still in Centaurus City.
