Chapter 9
During the operation, six bullets were removed from Haad’s body. The doctors thought in astonishment how he was still alive. They informed Sanan that Haad’s operation was successful and told him that six bullets had been removed from Haad’s body. Three bullets had been in his body for several days. Sanan was stunned. Haad had bullets in his body and he was living a very comfortable life. How could that be? Doctors also told him that healing power is very high in Haad. The damage caused by the bullets has been largely recovered without any treatment. Sanan thought that Haad seemed to be a creature other than a human being. Despite what Anna said about him, he could not be distrustful of Haad. He couldn’t believe that Haad could be bad. He also wanted to help Anna. He did not want to be hostile to Haad. If he had been bad, he would not have been shot to save his life. That was enough to prove his goodness. Maybe he wanted Anna to the point of insanity. He would have threatened to kill her mother to stop her. He guessed that was very accurate.
Haad was shifted to the room from the operation theatre. After a while, he regained consciousness and Sanan came to his room with the permission of the doctor.
“Where is Anna?” Haad asked anxiously as soon as he saw Sanan.
“She’s here and she’s fine,” Sanan told him. Haad relaxed and took a deep breath.
“I doubt you. Are you human or animal or an alien?” He said
“What do you mean?” Haad was afraid to reveal his secret.
“You’ve been injured by six bullets. You’re still alive, and a few days ago you were shot by three bullets. Who fired those bullets?” Sanan asked seriously. He was puzzled. What Haad told him. Sanan was that person by whom he had been shot three times a few days earlier.
“I do not remember.”
“Don’t you remember?” Sanan shouted. Haad rolled his eyes and started thinking.
“That … actually the witcher did a spell on me. Nothing hurts me much.” He barely made an excuse. Sanan stared at him suspiciously. Haad looked here and there.
“I told you to shift from there. If you had obeyed me, it wouldn’t have happened,” Sanan said, reprimanding him.
“Yes, I was really wrong. I should have obeyed you. Anna had a hard time because of my stubbornness.” Haad spoke in an embarrassed tone.
“Is Anna very special to you?” Sanan asked.
“Yes. She’s very special. Even more than my life.” Haad said smiling.
…………………..
Aman and Abad went to Zaria’s house but did not find anyone there. Zaria had left. Aman came and told Sanan. Hearing this, he was upset. He was wondering how to tell Anna now about this. After some thought, he came to Anna’s room.
“My Mama….” She exclaimed eagerly.
“She was not found at home,” Sanan said.
“What do you mean? Where did she go?” Anna’s heart began to tremble.
“I don’t know,” Sanan replied disappointedly.
“He killed my mother,” Anna said suddenly. Tears welled up in her eyes.
“I told you earlier he would kill my mother. He killed her.” Her condition worsened. She started breathing heavily.
“Anna, relax. It is not like that. Your mother will be alive. Haad can’t kill anyone.”
“You’re his friend. You’ll support him. But I know he’s bad.” She screamed. Tears were constantly flowing on her cheeks. Sanan was about to say something when Haad entered the room. The doctors were not let him out of the room, but he could no longer stay away from Anna. He went out to look for her despite the doctor’s stop and entered the room after hearing her voice outside the room. He had heard Anna’s last words. And he was confused to see her tears flowing. When Anna saw him, there was hatred on her face. She got out of bed and walked over to him.
“Where’s my mama? You killed Her?” Anna tightened her collar, asked fearlessly and angrily. Haad stared at Sanan. Sanan looked away.
“Say. Why are you silent? Where is Mama? Why isn’t she at home?” Anna screamed.
“Who told you that?” Haad asked sternly. He made a big mistake by not denying the accusation against him. Anna understood that he had killed her mother. She fainted with grief.
“Anna!” Both Sanan and Haad called to her together.
…………………...
“What is all this, Haad?” Sanan asked in a serious tone. They were both sitting on a bench in the corridor. In front of them was the door of the room in which Anna was lying unconscious and was undergoing treatment.
“That’s what I have to ask you. You’re the one who made Anna suspicious of me,” Haad said angrily. Sanan nodded in denial.
“I didn’t. Anna told me when she regained consciousness that her mother was in danger. She said that you forcibly kept her with you and threatened that if she left you, You’ll kill her mother. Is that true? “ Haad was silent for a moment when Sanan asked.
“It was just a threat. I can’t let her go at any cost.” Haad bowed his head.
“Hmmm. I guess that’s why you threatened her. But her mother is not at home now. Anna told me to save her mother. But we didn’t find her. When I told Anna that, she thought you had killed her mother. I know you didn’t kill her, but I don’t know what the real issue is. “Sanan believed that he could not kill anyone. Haad was embarrassed. Ever since he became WereWolf, he had killed so many people in his Wolf form.
“The fact is that her mother was a witch. She wanted to marry me. But I liked Anna. She chained Anna to blackmail me and threatened that if I didn’t marry her, she would kill Anna. I knew she was saying right. She could do anything for her objective. I had to obey her. The day we had to marry, I received a message from Zolun, a witcher before the ceremony. He told me that he is the enemy of Zaria and wants to capture her. If I help him, he will release Anna from Zaria and give her to me. I helped him. Zaria went into her possession and I found Anna. I had to threaten to kill Zaria to keep her with me. “Haad explained the whole truth in detail. There was honesty in his tone, Which Sanan could not deny. He was silently watching him.
“I love Anna so much. It’s hard to live without her even for a moment. I can’t let her go away from me. I’ll do whatever I have to do to be with her,” he said obsessively. Sanan admitted that Haad’s love for Anna was more than his love.
“Your madness is making Anna distrustful of you. If you don’t want Anna to go away from you and love you as you do, then you have to be gentle with her.” Sanan advised him.
“I don’t know what to do to make her fall in love with me. I’m in love but I don’t know how to love her. I never thought a little girl would make me so helpless that I would forget the distinction between right and wrong. ”He brushed his hair with his hand and spoke helplessly. Sanan smiled a little. He was obsessed with love but was very innocent.
“Give Anna clarity that you didn’t kill her mother. That will take away Anna’s suspicion.” Sanan advised him.
“But I can’t justify myself without telling the truth about Zaria, and Anna won’t believe it when she hears something against her mother,” Haad said anxiously.
“You have to think of an idea to justify yourself without saying anything about Zaria,” Sanan said and he began to think about it.
.........................
When Anna regained consciousness, she saw Haad in front of her and there was hatred in her eyes for him.
“Anna!” Haad approached her, calling her eagerly. Anna sat up and pushed him back with anger.
“Why did you kill my mother?” Anna spoke with wet eyes.
“I didn’t kill your mother. I swear.” Haad was defending himself in front of someone for the first time.
“Then where did she go?” Anna shouted.
“She’s been kidnapped by a witcher,” Haad said and she started looking at him in uncertainty.
“You are lying.” she murmured.
“No, I’m telling the truth. Your mother is a witch. She had a feud with someone. He kidnapped your mother. Zaria told me to protect you after her.” Haad thoughtfully made an excuse. Anna watched him in silence for several moments.
“Then why did you threaten me to kill my mother?” She seemed to have a little faith in him. But she didn’t mind knowing that her mother was a witch.
“So you can’t get away from me.”
“You are so selfish. You should have helped my mother. But you threatened me to kill her. I hate you. You lied to me and forcibly kept me with you. But I will not be with you for a moment anymore. I’m going to look for my mother.” Anna got out of bed and started walking towards the door, talking angrily and fearlessly. Haad got in his way.
“Stop. Don’t do that. I’ll find your mother.” Haad begged.
“I don’t need your help now,” Anna said with disgust. Now she knew that Haad could not kill her mother, so she was not afraid.
“Think again about it.” Had said as he approached her, Anna stepped back.
“Get out of my way, Haad,” Anna said in a stern tone.
“I can’t,” Haad spoke helplessly.
“Why? …” Anna shouted.
“Why did you come into my life? Why are you forcing me?” She was shouting.
“I love you. I can’t live without you. I want to spend my whole life with you. I’m so possessive for you that I want you to be confined to me. Just love me. Just think of me.” He terrified Anna when he said with the obsession. She held her breath and looked at him with open eyes. Haad approached her again and grabbed her by the waist before she left.
“There is only one way you can be free from me. And that is my death. Kill me if you want to be free.” Haad was allowing her to kill himself. Anna’s whole body was trembling. How could she kill him? She could not even curse him to death.
“Why aren’t you killing me? I'm letting you.” Haad provoked him
“I can’t kill you.” She spoke helplessly.
“But I can’t live with you either. I have to find my mama. You can’t stop me now.” There was a hard look on her face.
“I can stop,” Haad said, pressing a part of his neck. Anna looked at him in surprise and fainted. Haad now had to take Anna away from here. Sanan’s security guards were here. He could not force Anna there. It was against human rights. And it was illegal. Haad was guilty but he was helpless. Sanan was sincere with him but he was also sympathetic to Anna. He could not let him force anna.
He lifted Anna into his arms and walked towards the window. That room was on the second floor. There was no one on the other side of the window. He broke the window and jumped down with Anna in his arms. Some moments later, he was speeding towards the forest.
………………….
Sanan was out of the city on a business trip when Aman informed him on the phone that Haad had disappeared with Anna. Sanan got surprised and angry with Haad. He told Haad not to be silly anymore, but he did not give up.
“What do I do with this crazy boy?” He muttered, frowning. Then he took a deep breath.
“Send guards to find him. We have to find him as soon as possible.” He was worried about both Haad and Anna.
“Okay.” Aman, as usual, obeyed his orders.
………………...
The sun was setting on the horizon. The interior of the forest was completely dark, while the hillsides were still light. Haad had taken Anna there. He had come a long way from the valley of Fairy Meadows. He had made the two-day journey in a few hours. He was sure that now nobody would be able to reach him. He laid Anna on a large flat rock and began to collect firewood. The cold was getting worse. This cold could hurt Anna. He was realizing his stupidity now. He had to protect Anna from every danger.
He set fire to a place near the rock where Anna was laying. He rubbed stones and set fire to wood according to the old-fashioned method. The wood caught fire with great difficulty. When Haad was satisfied with this, he looked around at the trees. There were only wild trees from which no food could be obtained.
He went out to look for an animal. Not far away he saw a rabbit. The rabbit’s speed was very fast but Haad soon caught it and after a while, he was taking off its skin and was frying it on fire.
When Anna regained consciousness, the smell of roasted meat hit her nose. She looked up at the vast sky above her and wondered where she was. When all the senses were awakened, she quickly got up and started looking around. The darkness of night had deepened. Everything looked like a blue shadow. She knew in the dim blue light that it was a forest. On one side haad was seen sitting in front of burning wood. He had a stick in his hand on which the flesh of an animal was attached. He was frying meat. Anna did not like meat. She felt vomiting from the smell of meat. A slight sound escaped from her lips and Haad looked at her.
“Anna!” He put the piece of meat there and approached her.
“Stay away from me,” Anna said angrily. Haad stopped a short distance away and looked at her sadly.
“Where did you bring me?” She asked angrily as she stood up. She was no longer the timid Anna she used to be. Maybe it was all because of Zaria. She loved Zaria very much. But when she found out the truth about Zaria, would this love last? Only time would tell.
“Where there’s no one but you and me. Where you can’t run away from me,” Haad said, stepping towards her. Anna was scared but she was also sure that Haad could not do anything to her.
“No matter how hard you try to keep me tied to you, I will go away from you one day,” Anna said with a sigh.
“And that day will be my last day,” Haad replied with a sad smile.
“Don’t blackmail me emotionally,” she said angrily.
“It’s my love that you can’t understand.” Haad patted her cheek and she was silent for a moment. Her heart missed a beat on the word love. If Haad hadn’t threatened to kill Zaria and forcibly stopped her, she would have believed in his love and would be proud that a person like Haad wants her. But now Haad was an enemy to her and she was angry with Haad. She could not feel his love even if she wanted to.
“You must be hungry, eat it.” Haad said, giving her a meat stick.
“ I Don’t want to,” she said, turning away.
“Don’t be stubborn. How will you spend the night hungry?”He scolded her.
“I’ll, but I won’t eat your hand-made food,” she said stubbornly.
“Then I have to feed you myself,” Haad said.
“You can’t force me.” she yelled.
“I can do it. You know that.” Haad came closer to her.
“I don’t like meat,” Anna protested.
“Eat now. I’ll get something else tomorrow.”
“How long will I have to stay here?” Anna asked in frustration.
“When you will agree to stay with me. I will take you back then.”
“I will never agree to be with you.”She fumed.
“Let’s see.” Haad shrugged and carried a piece of meat to her mouth. Anna pursed her lips tightly making a face, but Haad opened her lips with one hand and forcibly put a piece of meat in her mouth. And she started eating in helplessness.
