Eleven

DEARIL POV

She dared try to run from us and now she was pointing a gun to our head, a cocky look on her pretty face that had my wolf snarling.

I'd listened to her try to get away, my wolf pushing for me to go after her, but I wanted the thrill of the chase, I wanted her to think that she could get away from me, from us, when in reality she couldn't. I'd taken her for myself, and I was going to keep her come rain or shine, and if she ever tried to leave again, well then, I'd have to introduce her to the darker side of me.

Jade stared at me challengingly, her gaze unwavering and her hold on the gun straight and steady. She was cute to think that the gun was a threat to me but I would humor her.

"Drop the toy Jade" I ordered, giving her a chance to redeem herself, but instead, with a little sneer of defiance, she tightened her grip on the trigger.

"How about you crawl back into your little hole like the mutt you are, Dearil".

Her mouth was filthy. No one spoke to an Alpha that way and I could feel my wolf getting agitated.

"I'll give you the last chance Jade, drop the gun and maybe, just maybe I wouldn't have to punish you too much for defying my orders".

She smirked, her mouth tilting up in a smile. "You might think you're some big shot here just because you have some freaky superpower, but I'm a top Dearil, I give the orders and I am obeyed, I also happen to be holding a gun so I wouldn't do anything rash if I were you."

My wolf's mindset became darker and it mixed with my head. He wanted to tame, wanted to subdue her, wanted her lips to tremble in lust and fear. I wanted nothing more than to close the space that stood between us.

"Here's what's going to happen," she said, taking a few steps back and I took a stance, my nose flaring as I anticipated her next move, knowing that in the end, it would all be for naught.

My skin heated up and I felt more alive than I'd ever been. The bad memories felt distant as I breathe in the scent of her defiance, mixing with her pheromones. I felt myself harden. This was beginning to get interesting.

"I'm going to leave this place and you're not going to come after me. Move one fucking step and you'll leave me no choice than to blow your brains out" she meant, her eyes fiercer than a lion's, but I was intuitive, and I knew there was no way she could fire at me, she was all talk. Jade could never pull the trigger.

I grinned. "You've broken a lot of rules Jade, I gave you a chance but you've chosen to do whatever pleases you" I took a step towards her and she caught me by surprise when she pulled the trigger. The bullet grazed my cheek as I dodged it at the last minute. Blood dripped out of the cut before it healed and I wiped at it in shock.

I'd underestimated her, and tho I think it was just a warning shot, she surprises me once more when she doesn't stop at just one, she fired sporadically at me and took off into the wood.

My chest burned where her bullet hit, but that wasn't the only reason I felt as if my skin was on fire. Jade had ignited my wrath and she was going to get the full dose of it. My wolf wanted to punish and when it got like that, he was insufferable, but it also fed off my desires, so a part of me was in total sync with carrying out what we both desired. This was going to be a fun chase and I was all for it.

Her harsh breathing gives away her position and I'm on her before she can blink. Her eyes widened a fraction before she kneed me in the crotch, her fist connecting with my jawline all in fast succession. She had fast reflexes, and I wasn't surprised because the first time I'd laid eyes on her, she had beaten a man to death.

Groaning because she was more trouble than I anticipated, I grabbed her by the arm and then lifted her off the ground, she yelped in surprise before I set her back down. I grabbed both her hands behind her back and pulled her close until her chest was welded with mine. Jade glared at me, her body twisting against mine, the softness of her breast rubbing against my skin and distracting the hell out of me.

"That was a very stupid move Jade".

"Oh yeah, why don't you let me go and fight fair, let's see if you're all that," she said, her face raised in anger to Stare defiantly at me.

I applied pressure on my hold and watched as she winced in pain. Her reaction made little spark singe through my skin. I shook her a little to get her attention and she glared at me, but I could also feel her pheromones thickening around us even tho she was not aware of it. This situation turned her on.

"I am your owner Jade, when I give you an order that would guarantee your safety, I expect you to follow it to a T".

"That's too bad, I normally don't know how to follow orders" she sneered. "Let go of me, mutt".

That made me angry and my temper was close to snapping. My wolf clawed inside. "Watch your mouth Jade, I've been patient enough and I won't tolerate any more displays of brattiness" I growled, and her eyes dared me.

"What are you going to do if I refuse..." I cut her off, my hands wrapping around her silky throat. I yanked her closer and bent towards her, my mouth hovering above hers. I smirked as I heard her heart skip a beat at the sudden proximity.

"I am the Alpha of this clan Jade, and my word is law, the only reason I am not using my Alpha voice on you is that I know you'll learn to obey me, you'll learn to submit whether you like it or not and your training start now" I murmured across her lips.

"What are you going to do? Kiss me sloppily like the last time. I've had better".

The thought of it made me see red and she gasped as my hand tightened against her throat. Her blood pulsed against my palm and the feel of her trying to gulp in air fuelled me on. "Don't you dare compare me to those lousy humans".

"Why" she gasped, her wrist twisting In my hold. She probably wanted to push my hands away but she couldn't, not when I had her utterly bound. "Am I hurting your fragile ego" she managed to get out, despite the pressure on her throat and the deadly look she saw in my eyes? Jade wanted to push my buttons, but I wasn't going to let her. It didn't mean that I wasn't going to punish her.

I let go of her, then picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. She roared in frustration as I manhandled her, she was probably not used to that kind of treatment.

We arrived back at the house, but instead of her room, I strode toward my chamber, opened the door, and dropped her to the floor.

"Stay" I ordered and she glared at me.

"Who do you think I am, your dog"

"That is what you will be until you learn not to disobey or disrespect" I growled, striding calmly toward the wooden chair at the center of the room. I took my seat and she watched me, I could see the wheels turning in her head.

"Crawl towards me".

Jade arched a brow. "You've got to be fucking kidding me".

My wolf and I were done with her disobedience. "Crawl towards me at once" I growled, using my Alpha voice.

Unable to resist she fell to her knees even tho I could see her trying to fight my order. She was strong-willed I'll give her that, but I was going to break her spirit.

She crawled, and I watched hypnotized by the sexy sway of her hips, the way her brows furrowed as she tried to fight whatever control I had over her. She stared at me as she got in between my lap, a confused frown on her face before she looked away.

My blood roared in my veins at the picture she presented and I wanted nothing more than to taste her again, to feel the softness of her lips, her skin, and her thighs wrapped around every hard length of me.

Inhaling deeply, I grabbed her chin, forcing her to meet my gaze.

"I can get you to do anything I want whenever I want Jade, but I choose not to. You'll be mine of your own volition. Now for your punishment", I announced and she shook my hands off her face, still choosing to be rude.

My wolf was being pretty tame tonight, and I wondered why. He'd have been screaming bloody murder by now with how disrespectful and dismissive she'd been so far.

"Just freaking get this over with" she snarked. "I'm not afraid of you Dearil, and I'll never submit to you in this world or the next".

Choosing to ignore her words, I laid out the terms. "I'll be giving you twenty spanks for sneaking away, and another extra five for insulting your owner. You're going to count, loudly. You're also going to lose that tone of voice and that attitude, and after this, you're not to speak without my permission, look me in the eyes, or utter nasty words from those pretty pouty lips of yours, do I make myself clear" I asked but I already know what words would come out of her mouth before she uttered them.

"Go fuck yourself!"

I had thought my wolf was being tame but I was wrong, it was just sitting back, silently waiting for me to handle the little brat. Now we were pissed, and as my eyes flamed red, I knew I might regret whatever happened next, but it was going to be all Jade's fault.
