The prompts before Nion's eyes ended with the last line of gold words as his body continued to release a glorious splendor.
<The Title of Reality Overseer has been granted as it comes with great boons and its own restrictions.>
Reality Overseer!
Something that only Primordials and other Higher Existences held- and yet now Noah was also among those who had achieved this stage!
And all of it…was made possible through the Ascendancy Halo.
There were many questions to unfold when it came to the unique Ascendancy Halo conjured around the combination of Noah and Hyperion- or as he called himself, Nion!
The most crucial thing was that at this moment as he received a unique authority from Reality itself…who did this authority truly belong to?!
Even before coming to the conclusion of this, one must look at the tremendous significance at the mere fact that the authority to ensure the protection of Reality was being granted to an existence that was actually an Ender of Reality.
A Primordial Beast born to cause the destruction of Reality itself!
How ironic! How wild!
Among the Infinite Realities, who could say they came across an emerging reality that granted the authority to guarantee its protection to an existence born to end it?
It was an extremely unique scenario as it was crucial to understanding the division of the authority of the Overseer of Reality when it came to Noah and Hyperion!
A very simple question to determine this is to ask oneself- who was the architect of the Cosmic Dao that made the act of Unity possible? Who contributed the most to the glimmering Ascendancy Halo that now contained this Authority? Was it a matter of quality or quantity?!
The answer to all of these questions leaned towards Noah as much of the authority of the Reality Overseer was clustered around his Soul and Origin!
It was clustered much more densely and heavily around the portion of the Ascendancy Halo made from his Nomological Edicts and much less on Hyperion's.
This was because even though Hyperion contributed 9 Edicts…they were all Minor and Greater Edicts while Noah contributed 4 Quasi-Insuperable and 2 Greater Nomological Edicts!
The strength and quality of the Ascendancy Halo was dictated by him to a large degree as much of its power and authority was clustered around him!
When they first forged the Ascendancy Halo, there was a unique phenomenon where after their separation, each of them could still call upon an illusory form of a half Halo that actually seemed to be broken, its power and authority being much lower until they fused again to complete it.
With the inclusion of the authority as the Reality Overseer, Noah had to now see what would occur if they separated again!
These questions and more made Noah look forward to competing 9 other Remaining Edicts by himself and utilize them to forge his very own genuine Ascendancy Halo, but for now…the current Halo would be more than sufficient to achieve its intended purpose.
Barely a hundredth of a millisecond passed as he thought of this, his gaze going towards the changes within his Origin after gaining the title of Reality Overseer, and he began by looking at this title itself!
<Reality Overseer> :: Emerging Realities are prone to destruction as in order to survive, the passive wills of these Realities exchange an authority unique to them towards an Overseer. The smoothest and easiest method to be capable of accepting this authority is through an Ascendancy Halo. During the tenure as an Overseer, one gains the passive generation of 1 Unit of the Essence of Reality daily. The job of an Overseer restricts the influence one can exert over the inhabitants within the Reality, with very limited exceptions through the method in which the Overseer chooses to overcome the threat of Primordial Beasts. Against external threats, the Overseer can move freely. The title of Reality Overseer is evolvable as the amount of Essence of Reality generated daily can change depending on how many additional Realities grant this same title…
A title capable of evolving the more Realities that one gained the recognition of and was granted the same authority!
Currently, Nion would be receiving a single unit of Essence of Reality as he had to measure exactly how much this was when compared to the reserves of this unique resource that he currently had.
Within his Origin, there was a specific area at the very center that acted like a pocket space for the reserves of the Essence of Reality. It was unlike any other resource as it could only be contained in this limited space, with its generation being unique as it wasn't affected by any resource generation statuses that a being held!
What was most crucial though, was this limited space where this essence could be held.
Most average Higher Existences were limited by the amount of Essence of Reality they held with the size of this space, with it being expanded in unique means or by elevating oneself to higher Realms!
The more powerful one was, the larger their capacity to hold more Essence of Reality…the more power and might they could display.
Nion didn't know exactly how the size of his space compared to others, but he could already see trickles of the Essence of Reality slowly swirling to form after he gained the authority as the Overseer of Reality!
He had actually elevated himself and finally arrived at the point in time where he could generate Essence of Reality, and he actually came to a point where he was staring impassively towards a primordial who at this moment…turned much more careful as her valiant voice echoed out.
"What abomination have you conjured up? Such a false Ascendancy Halo is nonexistent across the Infinite Realities!"
WAA!
Her sharp eyes swirled with immense light as an Eye of Power bloomed within them, gazing at Nion's figure up and down with no answers as this titanic existence whose body continued to be surrounded by snaking flames of Edicts laughed boisterously while motioning with his fingers to cause the crimson Ascendancy Halo to spin faster and faster.
"A false Ascendancy Halo? You dare to gaze at something you cannot even achieve as false?!"
RUMBLE!
His body trembled with ecstatic power as the spinning halo bathed him with utter majesty and power, its edged sharp enough as they could slice apart Reality itself!
"Let me show you…whether this Halo is true or false!"
…!
For the first time since Unity, Nion's body exploded out with fervor and power as with an Ascendancy Halo in tow, he instantly disappeared and rematerialized before the eyes of the Primordial at speeds that fractured Reality itself!!!
