His were like a raw knife digging into their Aeonic Souls as the minds of Boundary Expansion existences were dynamic.

Theseus was a one of a kind genius in the Boundary of the Sword as even other Ancestral Descendant Commanders of his level did not know he far exceeded them, while Desiderius was a calculative being that had stayed behind for billions of years in the Source Plane of the Lineages of the Barren Lands that called themselves Ancestors in order to deal a killing blow!

Each of them had their duties, but beings at their Age... were truly too cognizant of the risk of Death, much less the genuine possibility of it.

The older and wiser that Boundary Expansion experts became, the more aware they were of death after seeing so much of it in the Vaults of Extremity as they...did everything in their power to avoid it.

Yes, each of them had their own purpose to stand before this True Emperor right now. But...neither of them wanted to throw their lives away as they tried to break down the level of risk and strength this being could display!

Just because he could pose a danger to grant them True Death, it only laid out this possibility. They had to understand just to what extent this danger was!

So before they jumped into battle, they cautiously discerned the 9 identical clones and any more surprises that may be coming.

The True Emperor of Quintessence didn't even spare a glance at them as his 9 clones floated closer and closer to each other until they stood in a wondrous line of power.

The smile on his faces had faded as callousness could now be seen, his voice ringing out to reply to Theseus as his words didn't even address his question- and he said another thing entirely!

The voice was filled with grandeur and authority as only Desiderius and Theseus were the ones capable of feeling the aura of this being gradually changing.

It caused their own gazes to change as they noticed...it was very similar to them who were infinitely close to attaining the Boundary distinction of crossing the 6th Boundary Layer threshold!

This being was actually going towards achieving such a level as he seemingly gave out verdicts at this moment!

Theseus and Desiderius were the only ones to closely feel the level of danger due to their power, with the newly arriving True Emperor of Fate...not liking that he wasn't even addressed as he harrumphed.

So he inserted himself into this standoff as with the visage of a NOBLESSE to his left and Theseus to his right, he didn't believe there was any great level of danger as his Legion surrounding him in a formation began to give off waves of light that would surge forward to attack!
