Chapter 723 - Invitation to An Ancient Power!

Abruptly, Rudolf Fredrick Windsor waved his hands as a dark mist spread out from him, covering his figure and the figures of Anastasia and Anna in a blink as all those watching could not hear or see anything happening within this dark mist.

Inside of it, Rudolf's expression was livid as he stared at his sister.

"You had a child."

"Un."

Anastasia nodded with a calm expression as she pulled Anna close, this Imperial Princess looking over Rudolf, who should have been her uncle- with careful eyes!

The future Ruler of the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter looked over the figures of the two women multiple times, his authoritative voice ringing out again, and this time with murderous intent.

"The father?"

"...Dead."

Silence overtook the surroundings as the anger in Rudolf's eyes shimmered even more. He was about to erupt when the melodious voice of Anastasia rang out with calmness.

"I will come back with you. Willingly at that as I play the role I ran away from."

Her words calmed the wrathful eyes of Rudolf greatly as she continued.

"All I need from you is an assurance to protect this Galaxy that I made my home these past years, and to guarantee the safety of my daughter when we return!"

Anastasia's gaze was filled with conviction when she said this, Rudolf glancing towards her with glimmering eyes as he replied.

"Even if she is from a dead unknown toad, do you think I would not value the life of my own Niece?"

His words still contained anger and authority, but a hint of cunning flowed through them as many thoughts crossed his mind when he looked at Anna!

His sister did not have any weaknesses before, which was why she was able to do what she did in the past. Yet now…

"As long as she is from you, she is of the bloodline of the great Sage Windsor! Nothing can change that…"

His words were filled with mystery as Anastasia nodded, the sadness within her eyes immeasurable as Anna saw this and adopted a strong expression, speaking out for the first time to this powerful being that was her Uncle!

"We do not wish to return, you can see that. You would force your own sister?!"

Her words weren't respectful one bit as Rudolf had thought many things while calming down, the wrath he showed before wiped away and hidden within as he calmly spoke while looking over his niece.

"This involves things you do not understand, my dear new Niece. Things that are even out of my control! This involves the wills of two Ancient Powers, the wills of Hegemonies that cannot be denied!"

"Your mother has denied it long enough, and she now has to accept her role...with the repercussions that come from it."

His face shone with royalty as he made his stance clear, looking around them as he scrunched up his nose and continued.

"Let us make haste back home, the fringes of the Dark Universe hold nothing for us."

His hands waved towards Anastasia and Anna as the mother held her daughter's hand and went towards Rudolf. From the cloudy mist surrounding them, a path was made as it led towards the head of the enormous Starry Behemoth Tarragon where three veiled women were standing, the bodies bowing to Anastasia as they called out respectfully.

"Holy Princess."

THRUM!

Hearing these words caused an unknown light to shine in Anastasia's eyes, landing on the head of the Tarragon as they looked to the starry sky where the dark mist was dispersing, seeing the faces of Imperials and other inhabitants of the Nexus Galaxy that didn't dare move a muscle in front of the recently arriving overpowering auras!

Anastasia gave a cursory glance towards the Imperials as she didn't even focus on the face Adjudicator that she had sent a telepathic message to for him to move back and distance himself from her. She then landed her eyes on the confident face of Alexander as she thought for a bit, speaking towards her brother once more with a calm expression.

"During my time here, I took in Anna's friend as a Disciple. He's someone with immense talent as he comprehended the Dao in a day and was capable of summoning an Ultra Rare Summon."

Her words caused the heads of the three veiled women to shift as Rudolf Fredrick Windsor squinted his eyes towards the figures of Imperials, these eyes shining with light as while sensing for the aura of the Dao, they came to land on Noah!

"Him?..."

He stroked his beard thoughtfully as he waved his hand, a triangular crystal Medallion that shone with a red l.u.s.ter appearing as he spoke.

"Even if he has stepped on the path of the Dao of Summoning, he still has to go through the proper channels to join my Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter. This will give him the right to seek entrance as a Dao Disciple!"

Waves of spatial fluctuations erupted out as the triangular crystal Medallion appeared in front of Noah, the voice of Rudolf appearing in his mind soon after as he changed his expression.

"This is the tool that will guide you to my Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter. Make your way there and show this as you will be tested to prove your genius, and you might just be able to join an Ancient Power."

The voice was filled with power as Noah humbly nodded, Rudolf looking towards Old Man Khan who was also returning atop the Starry Behemoth Tarragon after making a genuine Entity turn tail and run!

The future ruler of the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter then gave a thorough look to the many inhabitants of the Nexus Galaxy as his eyes contained deep disdain and arrogance, waving his hands as they were about to leave when Anna's strong voice came out.

"I also want my Maids who have been with me since young to come, Maya and Raya."

She spoke to her uncle like this was a must as the devilishly gorgeous Imperial Princess was not awed by his might one bit, Rudolf glancing towards her and seeing her strong expression as she nodded with a smile.

"Attendants are not bad."

With such words, Maya and Raya that were looking towards Anna with watery eyes from the distance soon appeared above the head of the Starry Behemoth Tarragon.

Rudolf then glanced towards Old Man Khan as he gave a command.

"Per my sister's words, we shall bring this little Galaxy under our protection."

The words seemed simple, but Old Man Khan nodded while opening his lazy eyes and tapping his cane on the space beneath him. Immense essence erupted out as a red light shone, an insignia forming outside the boundary of the Nexus Galaxy that represented one word- EXPANSIVE!

This was a word containing authority and backing of an Ancient Power, where any powerful Entities that passed through this Galaxy would know that it was under the protection of the Ancient Power residing in the Expansive Dragon Cl.u.s.ter. Anyone that went against this authority and did anything to the inhabitants of this Galaxy...would face the full might of this Ancient Power!

With this action, the Nexus Galaxy had shockingly wethered through a catastrophic event, many beings not knowing that the person responsible for things playing out this way was none other than the Protagonist that had cast Deus Ex Machina...
