1011 Time for the play to begin (4)(Chapter preview)

"Screech-"

Everyone raised their heads to see phoenixes covering the sky.

"The phoenix clan?"

"It's the Firebird clan, one of the higher ranks amongst the phoenixes!"

"How did they end up coming here?"

"Someone must have let them in here! There's no way to break the barrier.

"It really is the firebirds!"

"Screech-"

The phoenixes flew in the sky above the plaza, circling around in the air. The battle below stopped.

"Big Brother!" Rainbow flew down from the sky, coming to land beside Sima You Yue.

After this, Lu Fei led his men to land on the ground, surrounding her.

Sima You Yue was extremely surprised to see Rainbow and the others. She asked, "What are you doing here?"

"We just happened to be nearby and heard the news about this place. We didn't plan to come at first, but when we heard that you were here as well, we rushed over." Rainbow said.

"Then how did you come in here?"

"How? We flew in!" Rainbow said.

She saw them fly in. Did she even need to ask this?

"Barrier? There was no barrier when we came!" Rainbow said, "When we came here, there was nobody guarding the barrier. There was no barrier surrounding this place either."

"Young Master, do you want us to intervene?" Lu Fei asked.

"Firebird Clan, it would be best for you not to involve yourself in human affairs." Song Chang Jie said to Lu Fei, a threat apparent in his voice.

"I have no interest in the affairs of you humans. However, once it involves the Young Master, we cannot remain apathetic." Lu Fei said.

"Young Master?" Song Chang Jie narrowed his eyes at Sima You Yue, "This human?"

"It seems that you have been too busy trying to usurp power that you don't even know the King of Rocs has appeared." Xia Chang Tian said, "The Legendary Great Roc has acknowledged a human as his master, so all birds have to listen to their orders."

"This is that human?" Song Chang Jie looked at Sima You Yue. Apart from being a little attractive, there was nothing unique about her. He didn't think that she would be the contracted master of the bird clans.

"That's good. If we need to fight later on, you should be able to exterminate these people easily." Sima You Yue said.

There was no need to leave these traitors a chance to retaliate in the future.

"Alright." Lu Fei nodded.

With the entry of the firebirds, the circumstances faced another twist. From Song Chang Jie's rise to power, to the entrance of Red and the others, to the backstabbing of the Cloud Protection Unit that turned the tables to the traitor's favour, and now the firebirds had appeared and the situation faced another turn.

"This show is getting better and better." Gu Xi leaned in the seat that he sat on, savouring every bit of the scene before him.

He had no interest in the power struggles outside. He had come here to participate in the competition, but it wasn't too bad to watch a good show before the competition began.

The Sima Clan was right beside the Gu Clan, and Sima Yi Yun and the others were filled with surprise.

"He's actually the contracted master of the rocs!" Sima Qi Qi said softly, her face filled with disbelief.

Sima Xin Shu and the others had similar expressions. It was like they were looking at a mythical creature.

"It doesn't matter why he departed in the past. Based on how things are right now, he definitely has the right to return to the clan." Sima Yi Yun said emotionally.

"With his talent, if he were to return to the clan, they would devoutly nurture him." Sima Qi Qi said.

"Not only will they nurture him. If he returns, the Clan Leaders might not even spare us a single glance anymore." Sima Xin Shu smiled bitterly.

He always felt like he wasn't bad, but the difference was just too great when he compared himself with her!
