1075 Monarch Ranked expert appears(Chapter preview)

Everyone stretched their consciousness to try and sense their surroundings but they didn't find any people or spirit beasts in front of them.

"Why can't I see anyone fighting?" Little Seven stretched her senses to the limit but she couldn't sense a thing.

"That's right, that's right. Who's fighting with whom?"

"Who's got the upper hand?"

"Could it be that they're fighting over some treasure?"

"I can't see anything either!"

Sima You Yue was speechless. Others were caught in a fight, but why was every single one of them so excited?

"Yue Yue, where's the fight taking place? Why can't I see anything?!" Little Seven pulled on Sima You Yue's arm and asked.

"It's not that I sensed it. My bees were the one who brought back that information." Sima You Yue said.

"Oh, you should have said so earlier."

Everyone withdrew their senses. She should have told them earlier if she heard the information from the bees so they wouldn't have needed to waste their energy.

"Why are they fighting?" Bi Sheng asked.

In a place like this, the reason for battles would almost always be due to treasure. Places where fights broke out would always indicate some sort of treasure. That was why everyone would disperse after winning. Otherwise, those nearby might rush over to try and snatch their treasure from them.

If someone really came, they would have just gone through a battle. Wouldn't that mean that the treasure would definitely fall into their arms?

"Not sure. Just as they released the news about the battle, they were caught in the crossfire and died." Sima You Yue said.

"Do we want to head over and take a look?" Ximen Feng asked.

"Go over. Of course we should go over. If there are any treasures, I wouldn't mind being a fisherman just this once." Sima You Yue smiled.

"What does it mean?" Everyone's expression was as if they were experiencing a moment of clarity, but Little Seven still didn't get it.

"This proves that they were all killed by a single person in a single move." Sima You yue said, "The bees should have been killed at the same time."

"Even if these people aren't that powerful, they wouldn't be that weak since they're working together. However, they were wiped out in a single move. Just how powerful is the opponent?" Feng Kai gulped and the folding fan in his hand paused for a moment.

"At the very least, a monarch ranked expert." Bi Sheng said.

"Very few monarch ranked experts have come in here. Most of them are leaders of a force." Ximen Feng said, "If we know which forces have come in, we should be able to guess which force is in here."

Sima You Yue shook her head, "It's not a force, it's a single person."

"One person?"

"When my bees were sending me back the information, they said that it was a single person fighting against a force." Sima You Yue said, "That's why this isn't a battle between two forces. It's a person wiping out a power."

These people should have already hit their limit and are trying to use their last remaining time to find a way to break through. If they are able to advance in rank, their lifespans would increase as well." Bi Sheng guessed.

Like Little Seven, Little Flowey was another plant-type spirit beast. They were both very powerful but did not have their own tradition because their memories could not be passed on that way. It was just like the divine beasts who had ancient bloodlines. Only auspicious beasts could pass on inherited memories when they unlocked their bloodline.

"Alright, if you can't remember it then forget it." Sima You Yue didn't want to see her eyebrows furrowed on her little face as she patted her head, saying, "As long as you know that it's beneficial for you, it doesn't matter whether or not you can remember it."

"Mmhmm." Little Seven was not someone who would focus on the nitty gritty things. Since she couldn't figure it out, she wouldn't focus on it anymore.

What she didn't know was that there were inherited memories swimming in her mind, but plant-type spirit beasts really didn't have inherited memories…

"We don't know what treasure lay here anyway. Since it was able to get an expert involved and to exterminate them all, on top of that, it seems like he really didn't want to reveal the existence of the treasure." Bi Sheng mused.
