1302 Someone undergoing tribulation(Chapter preview)

As Di Wu saw the birds getting closer, he pulled Sima You Yue and ran away.

"Do you know what those birds are?" Sima You Yue asked as she ran.

"There's a kind of bird in the Ghost Realm called the Dark Fiend Bird. It looks like that, except that their eyes aren't red."

"Are Dark Fiend Birds powerful?!"

"It's not powerful, but there are a lot of them. Look at them, they've almost covered up the whole sky!"

Sima You Yue turned back and looked at the black sky. It was obvious how many of them it would be.

"We have to think of something." Di Wu continued, "We'll be dead if we're caught!"

"What other ways can there be right now?" Sima You Yue ran while she took out Little Door. She opened Little Realm and ran in with Di Wu.

Those Dark Field Birds chirped angrily as they almost caught Sima You Yue but she disappeared into thin air.

Sima You Yue looked at those angry Dark Fiend Bird from Little Realm. She patted her chest and said, "Luckily, we have a place like this to hide in."

"What's outside?" Wu Lingyu asked while holding her hand when he saw her change in expression.

"Dark Fiend Birds covered the whole sky." Sima You Yue said.

"There are actually Dark Fiend Birds here?" Wu Lingyu was flabbergasted, "I thought they only exist in Ghost Realm? They can actually survive at this kind of place?"

"Seems like there's some sort of variation, their eyes are red." Sima You Yue said.

"Are those Dark Fiend Birds powerful?"

"It's not if it's alone, but it will be hard to deal with if they gather together." Di Wu said.

"Let's wait inside here." Sima You Yue continued, "We'll wait for the Dark Fiend birds to leave before we get out."

"Then you'll have to wait for a long time." Wu Lingyu continued, "Those Dark Fiend Bird are very intelligent, since they saw you coming into Little Realm, they'll definitely wait for you outside."

"Then how long will it take for them to give up?"

"Dark Fiend Birds are very patient dark beasts, they won't leave anytime soon for sure." Di Wu said.

"That means Ghost City is not far from here." Sima Liu Yun said.

"It's good someone is invoking the tribulation, at least those Dark Fiend Birds are scared away." Third Mo said.

"That's right. I thought we'll be waiting here for a month or two, I didn't think they would fly away so quickly." Sima You Yue was happy that those Dark Fiend Birds were scared away, so they could get out after the lightning tribulation.

"We can also see the level of lightning tribulation from here." Sima Liu Feng continued, "It'll help us to understand the situation here."

At that level, they tore open spatial portals directly, just like when Wu Lingyu went back to Devil Realm and Mo Yu went back into Ghost Realm.

"We can get to Ghost City following the direction of tribulation." Sima You Yue looked at the direction while calculating how long it would take to walk to the tribulation location.

"That, that…." Di Wu trembled when he got out, "Can I go back in first?"

Sima You Yue remembered that he was also a Ghost when she saw him tremble uncontrollably. The remaining power left in the air made it unbearable for him, so she opened the door of Little Realm and let him in. She only let him out after passing by this path.

They sat on a flying beast and flew towards Ghost City. After flying for two days, they saw a group of burnt bodies on the ground.

"Over ten ghosts went through tribulation together, no wonder it was so ruthless." Sima Liu Feng continued, "You Yue, if it's you, can you persevere through that lightning tribulation?"

"What do you think? Comparing this with the one at Fair Eastern City." Sima You Yue asked in reply.

"Oh right, you persevered through the huge lightning tribulation in Fair Eastern City, so this is nothing to you." Sima Liu Feng continued, "You Yue, tell us, how are you immune to lightning?
