151 Being struck by lightning(Chapter preview)

"Sun?!"

When she saw the sun, it was as if she had been struck by lightning. Reason being that the Spirit Pearl used to be able to sustain life, but did not have blue skies, clouds not a sun. When one raised his head, it was just endless space. She never thought it would actually have a sun.

"There's a sun, so that means there will be a moon?" Sima You Yue asked when she recalled that Little Spirit said she would no longer need to take it out.

Sima You Yue released Little Spirit as she pushed the door open and walked in. The first layer appeared pitch black and she assumed that it was because Little Spirit intentionally made it this way.

Sima You Yue pulled at Little Spirit, shaking him as she asked, "Little Spirit, aren't you the spirit of the artifact? Don't tell me that you can't open it?"

"It's not like I'm the original Artifact Spirit." Little Spirit said, "If I was the original Artifact Spirit then it would be no problem regardless of which level I wanted to go to. However, I forcefully invaded this space, and the fact that I managed to revive those few levels is already considered really good. It's impossible to think of opening every single level."

"Then what do I have to do in order to go upstairs?" Sima You Yue pouted, "Don't tell me that it has to do with my own strength?"

A bolt of lightning flashed and shot Sima You Yue directly, turning her body black and her hair curly.

Little Spirit and Little Roar roared with laughter when they saw the state that she was in. Even Mo Sha could not help but smirk.

"Cough cough-"

Sima You Yue coughed twice as she spit out a mouth of smoke.

"Little Spirit, what is going on!!!"

When she came back to her senses, she realised that she was almost turned into charcoal and shouted at Little Spirit.

Little Spirit clutched at his stomach as he tried to stop laughing, saying, "Hehe, I forgot to tell you that this place is practically another world, and you are the Master of this place. So, your word here is like the law. You said that you wanted lightning to strike you, so lightning really came!"

Little Roar flew and landed on Sima You Yue's head, messing up her hair and saying, "Yue Yue, you always said you had curly hair in your previous world. Now that you have curly hair, you don't have to curl it anymore and it's been naturally curled for you."

Sima You Yue stretched forth a hand and pulled a few strands of hair as a sharp pain coursed through her body.

"You should first eat some pills." LIttle Spirit forcefully proposed.

"Hmph hmph." Sima You Yue took out a jade pill bottle from her interspatial ring and ate two pills before exiting the little Pagoda.

"Yue Yue, I realised that the speed of which time flows here is different from outside!" LIttle Roar followed Sima You Yue out and he said.

"How is it different?" Sima You Yue cleaned her blackened face and rubbed away two white circles. It looked really funny.

"The time that flows here is a bit quicker than outside." Little Spirit said.

"Wasn't it this way in the past? The pill ingredients here have always grown faster than they did outside." Sima You Yue did not understand.

"That was in the past, but I've improved already!" Little Spirit was dissatisfied at Sima You Yue's attitude as he declared lously, "The speed of which time flowed used to affect only the plants, but now, animals are affected as well. What I'm saying is that you've been here for so long but only a little bit of time has passed outside!"

"It affects people now too?" Sima You Yue looked at Little Spirit with widened eyes.

"Hmph hmph, of course." Little Spirit said proudly.

"It's that great?!" Sima You Yue pulled Little Spirit into a hug and embraced him tightly. She looked at Mo Sha, saying excitedly, "Mo Sha, what kind of awesome thing did you create for me?!"

"I didn't expect that there would be this kind of outcome either. It all goes back to the quality of the Seven Layered Pagoda." Mo Sha saw that Sima You Yue's were quickly becoming tiny crescents, as he felt a weird sense of joy in his heart as well.

"Ah!" Sima You Yue thought of a very important question, "If this is the case, if I stay here long enough, won't I grow older faster than other people?"
