1910 Not Optimistic(Chapter preview)

Cool hands touched his forehead and he heard a familiar voice: "Alright, the fever has subsided, it means that the poison is almost detoxified."

"You Yue?" Mo Zhi called out, his voice was hoarse.

"Don't talk, eat this first." Sima You Yue's voice sounded vague and dreamlike to him.

A pill was stuffed into his mouth and it dissolved upon entering his mouth. Almost at once, he felt that his head was a lot clearer, and his mouth was a lot more comfortable.

He looked at Sima You Yue. She pulled out a silver needle and pierced it on his body, then she said: "You were poisoned. I am detoxifying the poison for you. If you have any uncertainty, ask me when you're feeling better."

Mo Zhi blinked and watched her as she worked quietly. After she had removed all the silver needles, she covered him with a quilt.

"Lingyu, you can let them in now." She said and turned her head.

Only then did Mo Zhi notice that Lingyu was standing at the end of the bed.

Wu Lingyu removed the spirit barrier, but before he could open the door, Mo Li and the others had already opened the door and entered.

"Princess, how is it?" Mo Zhi's mother, Yu Xiao, asked as soon as she came in.

"The poison has already been detoxified, there's no major problem now." However, he has been relying on medicines the past two years to prolong his lifespan, therefore, he is relatively weak right now. He needs to spend some time recuperating before can fully recover."

"Thank you Princess. If it weren't for you, I'm afraid that Zhi'er wouldn't have made it through." Yun Xiao looked at her gratefully.

"You don't have to thank me Aunt, Mo Zhi is my friend." Sima You Yue smiled.

"This poison was developed by Shi Qian Shi, I didn't expect to see it in the Ghost Realm. He is in Paramount Valley right now, so he shouldn't have any connection with the Ghost Realm." Sima You Yue said.

"If you are worried about who is colluding with the Ghost Clan, why don't you just ask Mo Yu's family?" Wu Lingyu said.

Wu Lingyu and her arrived at the Assembly Hall. The quaint hall exuded the breath of history.

"You're here. Did you go to see Mo Zhi first?" Mo Yu was seated in the main seat and the place next to him was empty.

At his signal, Sima You Yue walked over to the seat, and Wu Lingyu sat down below her.

"How much do you know about the Mo Clan?" Mo Yu asked her.

Sima You Yue shook her head: "I don't know anything."

"You don't know anything but you rushed all the way here?" Mo Yu glanced at her and said, "Yes, I suppose that's just you."
