2131 Coming out of seclusion(Chapter preview)

Half a year later, Sima You Yue finally came out from seclusion. When she found Qin Qin, she was in a discussion with Xiao Ling about food.

Nai He and Mo Yu were by the side, their faces as dark as the bottom of a pot. Mo Yu angrily pinched and punched his body.

Her return broke up the weird vibe in the house.

"Master!"

"Yue Yue!"

"Little Martial Uncle!"

The first two voices sounded surprised, while the 'Little Martial Uncle' sounded weak.

"All of you are here!" Sima You Yue walked over, and first said to Nai He, "Why are you guys still here? Have you settled your matters?"

"It's all done, but Lingyu has yet to return. We can only leave after he returns." Sima You Yue said.

Xiao Ling's eyes lit up when he heard this, "Then Master has nothing to do while waiting right?"

"Master, can you teach me how to cook? See if my culinary skills have improved."

"Sure."

"Alright! I will go back and tell my family that they shouldn't look for me for the next few days!" After saying that, Xiao Ling turned and ran off.

Now that he was learning to manage his family matters, his family no longer objected to his cooking. Hence, taking leave for a few days was alright.

Once she came out of seclusion she had already contacted Wu Lingyu. He was almost done with his matters there, but he still needed a few days' time to return.

During the next few days, Sima You Yue and Xiao Ling cooked together. This allowed Qin Qin's loss and irritability to disappear completely. There was good food to eat everyday so the time was passing by quickly. It did not feel like much time had passed before Wu Lingyu came back.

"Alright. We will stop here today. I will enter the Palace to see His Honour, then I will be leaving." Sima You Yue said to Xiao Ling.

Xiao Ling could not bear to see her leave, but he knew that it was impossible for her to stay. His eyes were slightly red, "Master, if you come to the Abyss of Hell again, you must come and look for me."

"I will." Sima You Yue patted him on his shoulders, "You need not feel so sad, there may be a chance to meet again in the future."

"Yes, yes!"

Although she said that, Xiao Ling felt that she was just trying to comfort him. He was afraid that this farewell would be their last one. They might not have the chance to see one another again in this lifetime.

Sima You Yue and Wu Lingyu entered the Palace and saw Mu Lan in high spirits.

"Looks like Your Honour's body has fully recovered." Sima You Yue said.

"All thanks to the Divine Medicine that you've brought back. I owe you a life." Mu Lan replied.

"Your Honour has given me too much credit. This was just a deal between us, you don't owe me anything." Sima You Yue was also not asking for credit, "Let me examine you for a moment again."
