auntie Lizz
Chapter 14 (Aron's POV)
I was on cloud number nine honestly.
I can't even believe she agreed to go out with me.
Well technically we won't be going out at all, but that's fine with me.
I can get her out of her clothes even faster in that scenario.
I'll be honest. I had no idea when was the last time I even had such an interest in a woman.
But Becky just seems to ignite a fire inside of me and she is the only one that can put it down.
And I know it's all going fast since we knew each other for only a day, but since Mason and Rachel always spoke about her it kind of felt like I knew her all my life already.
I knew pretty much everything a man can know about a woman.
So I wasn't really worried about anything.
After all she also said when we were at Vicky's yesterday, that she wasn't looking for anything serious. At least not until she finds her footing again.
Which is completely logical since she lost everything in one day.
Well not everything, but it was written in her eyes how much modeling meant to her.
I still had no clue about the background of that story.
Guess I'll have to ask her tonight.
I knew only what I read in the newspapers and we all know there is rarely written the complete truth.
But I had to get my mind back on track right now.
I just stepped in front of the little cafe where I would meet my aunt.
I had no time to think about a plan of action against my mother, but I hope we can come up with something together.
When I entered I saw my aunt sitting in the back right away.
She gave me a huge smile and a wave.
I returned the smile and walked over to her table.
"Hey auntie. I hope you managed to get some sleep."
"Qh don't worry about me sweetheart. I am more worried about you. Did you manage to get any sleep? And how did I even manage to catch you while you were still up? It was past midnight and I was sure you would be asleep already."
I could feel a blush starting to form on my face and my aunt wasn't blind so she narrowed her eyes right away.
"Spill it young man!"
I chuckled before I told her all about Becky.
There was a spark in her eyes that became brighter with every word I spoke.
"My dear Aron. Just from listening to you I can tell you like her already. And honestly she doesn't sound like a bad woman. So why would you want to just spend some time with her and not think about a future together?"
Once again my aunt was aiming straight for the finish line.
What was weird was that thoughts about a future together didn't even scare me.
"Aunt, it's a bit early to speak about things like the future together. Let's take it slowly. What do you say?"
She frowned but still agreed.
"Fine. Let it be your way. But my boy you are not getting any younger. And neither am I so please think about that. I want grandchildren someday and you know that!"
It was time I pulled her back to the topic that needed our attention.
"Ok auntie. I will keep that in mind. But telle now what did that woman want from you again?"
A heavy sigh escaped her lips before she gave me an answer.
"If I would believe her words then she just wants to get to know you, but since we both know better, I would say she wants your money. She even knew we changed your last name. So I guess she is probably close with someone you know. But right now we need to find a way to keep her far away from you."
Her words made me think hard about what she said.
Someone I knew.
But who could that be?
No one knew my history or my mother.
"I will think of something auntie. Now tell me how are you and how is Ana? Got a new boyfriend already?"
"Oh that daughter of mine will be the death of me I swear. A few days ago she called me and told me she would become a lesbian because every man is a uselles man whore. Can you believe her?"
My coffee went down the wrong way and I started coughing and laughing at the same time.
Damn I miss that little spit-fire.
She always kept her mom on her toes.
But she loved her like no one else ever could. Even though sometimes she gave her a minor heart-attack.
I had to arrange dinner with those two in the near future.
I miss them both.
And since Ana was in Manchester studying we didn't get to see each other often.
"Ana has her holidays in a few days. We should get together for dinner at my place. What do you say?"
She gave me a megawatt smile and agreed right away.
Now if only this day would stay as good as it started I wouldn't mind at all.
But we all know that all good things come to an end.
Don't we?
