Chapter 1007: Ministry of Magic's Response Strategy
Chapter 1007: Ministry of Magic's Response Strategy
Lucius understood what the attending therapist meant.
Draco was fine physically, the biggest problem was that he couldn't forget those terrible memories.
The Forgetfulness Spell can help him, but using it too many times will produce greater side effects, such as memory loss, slow reaction, and forgetfulness.
It is not realistic to erase an entire memory, as he will always suddenly remember it.
Before leaving, Smethwick suggested to Lucius that Draco be transferred to the Cursed Injury Department on the fifth floor, where there were therapists specializing in treating those who had suffered severe mental trauma, and perhaps there might be a way to provide relief.
Lucius said goodbye to the two therapists and returned to Malfoy Manor with his wife Narcissa.
Transfer to the spell damage department?
Those patients with mental problems were not normal people at all. Many of them had been tortured into madness by the Cruciatus Curse of the Death Eaters, and there were even several Muggles.
Let Draco be transferred in for treatment? How would the outside world view the noble Malfoy family? Lucius had already imagined the ugly faces of some people.
"Huh..." He frowned and carried Narcissa back to the bedroom, then went to the wine cellar alone to get a bottle of red wine.
He walked out of the manor and looked at the gorgeous courtyard that was automatically lit up by magic. His back seemed a little lonely and desolate.
He walked into the courtyard and sat on a bench.
The cork of the Malfoy family's precious red wine was roughly pulled out, and the scattered wood chips due to its age fell into the gem-like wine inside.
Lucius was a smart man. When he selected the four warriors from the Goblet of Fire, he knew there was something fishy going on.
I originally thought that it was just targeting Harry, but I didn't expect that it would involve the other three warriors. It was obvious that they wanted to turn the Triwizard Tournament into a death tournament.
He raised the bottle extremely ungracefully and drank the red wine in big gulps, not caring about the sawdust that fell in.
"Oh - it's you, you're back, you're finally back..."
He was still muttering to himself a second ago, but suddenly he threw the bottle in his hand towards the precious plants in front of him.
The bottle is of good quality and not broken.
The wine, which emitted a faint gem-like glow, was splashed on the precious plants. One of the brightly colored violets quickly faded after coming into contact with the wine, and all the petals turned into a monotonous gray.
There is no point in deceiving yourself; Voldemort's return is an ironclad fact.
Rescuing Peter Pettigrew from execution, attacking the camp during the World Cup, making Harry Potter a warrior, and turning the Triwizard Tournament into a death match.
Lucius actually knew that he was back a long time ago, but he just couldn't believe it was real until just now.
He staggered to his feet and turned around to look at the Malfoy Manor, which had been passed down for nearly a thousand years, with extremely complicated eyes.
The diary that symbolizes the highest glory of the Death Eaters had long been thrown away by him. Could the injury Draco suffered today be the retribution he deserved?
“Haha ...
The crazy laughter echoed in the extremely gorgeous courtyard, and Lucius's scattered platinum hair looked even more messy.

After dawn, the Daily Prophet, the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Magic, admitted that a serious incident had occurred in yesterday's Triwizard Tournament.
On the front page was a sincere apology letter signed by Cornelius Fudge, then British Minister for Magic.
He was very upset that he had not warned the warriors in advance not to provoke the fire dragon, and promised that he would be extremely cautious in the next project to ensure that similar accidents would not happen again.
The Ministry of Magic chose to turn a blind eye to the matter as usual, but at least they did not "condemn" the warriors this time. Perhaps they restrained themselves a little because it involved international diplomatic issues.
The second page is about the progress of the investigation into yesterday's accident, which disclosed some abnormal problems with the four fire dragons.
For example, taking a large amount of sleeping pills before the game made him more easily irritated. Another example was that he imposed some restrictions on the fire dragons for the safety of the game, but he did not expect that it would conflict with the warriors' spells, which eventually caused the fire dragon to run away, causing the three warriors to be unfortunately seriously injured.
Publicizing the fact that the dragon was cursed would only make public opinion worse, so it was understandable that the Ministry of Magic chose to conceal it.
The following sections are all about the warriors, including interviews with the warriors themselves, as well as interviews with their families and classmates.
But most of them are about Harry, and the other three warriors combined have less than half as much space as him.
Avoiding the important and focusing on the trivial is the basis of journalism, and there is no precedent of warriors dying in the Triwizard Tournament. It is obviously the best choice to focus on reporting on Harry, the only one who successfully took the golden egg and obtained the clue of the second project.
Sirius, his godfather, was the first person to be interviewed.
At the Gryffindor table, Vincent closed his newspaper and raised his spoon to take the last bite of his oatmeal.
Over the years, the Ministry of Magic's response strategies have never disappointed him.
If it were a Muggle government with a multi-party system, they wouldn't dare to act so unscrupulously.
After the morning classes, Vincent and the boys went to the school hospital to visit Furong.
Madam Pomfrey's skills were very good, and her burned arm had basically healed, but the newly grown skin was still pink and tender, and a little wrinkled.
This is undoubtedly a bolt from the blue for a girl who loves beauty. Even though she knows that it will get better in the end, she cannot accept her current ugly arm.
Krum, who was lying on the bed next to him, seemed even more agitated, as if he wanted to get up or say something.
My dear, there is more to come after this chapter. Please click on the next page to continue reading. There will be more exciting chapters later!
His injuries were much more serious than Furong's. His skin was burned all over his body, and his entire body was wrapped up like a mummy with magic bandages, leaving only a pair of eyes and trembling lips exposed.
Judging from his extremely round forehead that was bandaged, his thick black hair was most likely gone.
The twins wanted to go over to see what he wanted to do, but Karkaroff suddenly walked into the school hospital without saying a word and took him away.
“Oh wow~” George poked Vincent with his elbow with a wicked smile, “Dude, it looks like your number one rival hasn’t given up yet.”
Fred elbowed the other side as well, "Tsk, tsk, tsk—he couldn't even move or talk. When he was carried away, he was still looking at your girlfriend reluctantly~"
Vincent knew they were joking.
Ever since they knew that Krum had a crush on Hermione, the friends' attitude towards the world's number one seeker has changed.
Especially the twins, the original appreciation and admiration turned into contempt.
Maybe in their eyes, Krum was committing a crime if he accidentally glanced at Hermione.
Although the twins' hostility towards him was indeed brotherly, building one's own happiness on the pain of others...
Vincent spread his hands indifferently, "She didn't do anything out of line. Besides, it's normal to have a love rival. After all, my girlfriend is so outstanding."
"Ouch~" The twins grinned and moved closer to Hermione who was sitting beside Fleur's bed.
"Ah~ Is our Gryffindor leader shy?"
"Your face is so red, you must be shy~"
After a few jokes, Madam Pomfrey came over with a sullen face.
"The school hospital is a place for patients to rest. If you continue to make loud noises, I will prohibit your visit."
The twins sat on the hospital bed that originally belonged to Krum with pouty mouths, looking extremely depressed.
