Chapter 1030 After Christmas
Chapter 1030: After Christmas
On the second day of Christmas, everyone got up late.
The dance ended at 12 midnight, but many people had other plans.
The December sunshine was still very bright, and when the light shone on Hermione's tightly closed right eyelid, her little hand gently resting on Vincent's chest suddenly twitched.
Her long eyelashes trembled slightly, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Vincent's gentle eyes and smiling mouth.
"Good morning."
The corners of her mouth also slightly raised, "Good morning."
Just as Vincent was about to move closer, she pressed her small hand against his chest.
"You haven't brushed your teeth yet, they stink."
Hermione's disdainful look failed to stop him, and in the middle of the long passionate kiss, she unknowingly fell on him.
Suddenly, she sat up and hurriedly looked for the evening dress she had taken off last night. "It's almost noon. We have to hurry back to the castle."
Vincent propped his head up with one hand, "I don't have to go to class today."
Hermione stretched out her hands and grabbed the edge of her dress to pull it over. "We disappeared all night. If we don't show up again, they'll probably put up a missing person notice on the notice board in the hallway."
"Is it that exaggerated..." Vincent admired her stunning beauty.
Hermione quickly covered it with her skirt, but soon let it go and let it slide down.
"Does it look good?"
Vincent blurted out, "It looks good."
She pouted her lips angrily, "Have you seen enough?"
"almost."
After she was dressed, Vincent stretched lazily with an unsatisfied look on his face.
As soon as he put on his trousers, Hermione couldn't wait to hand him his shirt, the torn buttons of which had been restored using magic.
After putting on the dress coat that had covered her all night, she untied the red tie behind her head and stood on tiptoe to put it on him.
"No...it didn't seem to be like this last night..."
After trying several more times according to the scenes in her memory, she finally pushed the tie up with satisfaction.
Vincent bent down to pick up her high heels, "Your hair needs fixing, too, right?"
Hermione lifted her left leg slightly, "Yes, and makeup!"
It was too troublesome to do it again, luckily she remembered the specific look of last night.
A few simple wandless casting tricks and her hair and makeup were back to how they had been at last night's ball.
But no matter how hard you try to restore it, some things can never be restored.
She put on her shoes and took a few steps forward, still feeling a slight sting.
If she hadn't exercised regularly, she would not have been able to walk today.
Seeing that she had recovered well, Vincent jumped down from the flowers and opened his arms to her.
"Let's go."
Hermione was picked up by him and they walked towards the castle hand in hand.
Before going in, Vincent turned back and snapped his fingers toward the rose garden.
The fluttering petals had already fallen down, and what he lifted was the "mirror curse".
“I don’t know if there’s anyone else inside.”
Hermione pulled him up the stairs quickly, "Not everyone has your courage."
Indeed, Vincent is probably the only one in the entire wizarding world who has the courage to treat the rose garden carefully arranged by Dumbledore and the professors as his own back garden.
In front of the Gryffindor dormitory, the Fat Lady in the portrait smiled meaningfully.
"It's great to be young!" Her exclamation made Hermione blush immediately.
"Don't worry, I will keep it a secret for you."
Vincent, who was about to express his gratitude, was pulled into the dormitory by the shy Hermione.
It wouldn't be long before word got around that the Fat Lady was fond of visiting other portraits in the evening.
Hermione is a girl after all, and she is definitely not as thick-skinned as Vincent.
The two returned to the male and female dormitories respectively, and were surrounded by their roommates the moment they entered the dormitory.
It was not until lunch time that they allowed the two to take a shower and change clothes.
hall,
James stared at Vincent with his chin on his hand, looking depressed.
"What? Is there dirt on my face?"
James hesitated to speak, and finally let out a long sigh.
Even Neville asked Hannah to go for a walk in the rose garden last night. If he had made an attack on Parvati after dancing, he might have won her over.
The annoyance on his face also reminded Alfred of last night.
During the romantic date in the rose garden, if she had known in advance that Vincent had set up the magic, she would have at least had a deeper exchange of feelings with Padma.
Neville couldn't understand what they were upset about. He hadn't recovered from the shock just now.
Opposite the long table,
The girls were whispering.
Lavender kept asking Hermione questions like a curious baby. After getting her answer, she blushed for a while, then she mustered up the courage to continue asking.
There is still a big difference between girls and women. Although Hermione would be shy and blush, she did not hide it too much.
Except for those involving privacy, she basically said everything openly.
Not long after lunch started, Harry and Ginny came running over anxiously.
"Have you seen Ron? He hasn't returned to the dormitory yet."
"Cough cough..." Hermione choked while drinking cream of mushroom soup.
He didn't go back to the dormitory, which meant he was still outside the castle, and there was a high probability that he was in the rose garden.
She glared at Vincent absentmindedly, "Harry, have you looked for him outside?"
"We have looked for him." Harry was extremely anxious. "Ginny and I went to the rose garden and the castle to look for him early in the morning. Could he have gone to the Black Lake or the Forbidden Forest?"

Hermione glared at Vincent again, "That shouldn't be the case. The rose garden is arranged like a maze. Why don't you try to look for it again?"
Harry and Ginny had no other choice. They didn't wear magic communicators at the ball last night, otherwise they wouldn't be as clueless as they are now.
Half an hour later, they found Ron near the ice fountain in the rose garden.
He refused to enter the castle, saying that last night's ball was so embarrassing.
Ginny clenched her hands, not indulging him at all, "So you're not ashamed now?"
She was standing at the castle gate in a second-hand robe with purple lace and shouting loudly. If she continued to argue, it would definitely attract people.
Ron's face turned red. "Okay, I'll go back now!"
Harry looked at his back as he left and subconsciously turned to glance at Ginny.
He always felt that her expression now seemed familiar. No, her whole state looked very familiar.
He shuddered suddenly, and the image of Molly scolding the twins suddenly appeared in his mind.
I didn’t expect Ginny also had a strong side. Why didn’t I notice it when I asked her to teach me dancing before?
"Harry, you know what? When a girl starts to dress up seriously, it means she wants to attract the attention of the person she likes."
The words that Wen Senter, the master of emotions, once said suddenly rang in Harry's ears.
If you think about it carefully, Ginny is always very shy in front of him. She speaks softly and moves cautiously, for fear of causing him to be disgusted.
"Ginny, let's go back and have lunch."
"Ah."
