Chapter 1032 The Master's Episode
Chapter 1032: The Gentlemen's Episode
The news about the Prongs brand and the Gryffindor Saga made Lucius smell danger.
Just two days after the press conference, they released some stills.
The expectations of the wizards were constantly raised, and after two waves of stills were released, director Lupin held a second press conference, announcing that the series would be exclusively broadcast on the Prongs brand platform.
Although Lucius had expected this, he was still caught off guard.
The total sales volume had just exceeded 6000 when a wave of returns suddenly occurred.
What else can he do? Of course he should follow the trend and invest in making TV series.
And it can't be a small fight, the opponent must be beaten in terms of cast and shooting scale.
What can the four giants of Hogwarts do? Do they dare to challenge old man Merlin?
The news of "Merlin" finally stopped the wave of returns, but sales of the Nobili brand stopped growing.
The wizards are all waiting and watching. They have at least released a few stills, but we haven't even announced the shooting date.
There was no other choice but for Lucius and his family to spend a lot of money to invite famous wizards in the magic world to participate in the filming.
The annual list of "Witch Weekly" is a good reference.
Located in the most prosperous center of Diagon Alley, Shop 111 is the flagship store of the Nobili magic home appliance brand.
The facade is naturally magnificent, and the brilliance of the gems inlaid on the signboard will dazzle your eyes even from a long distance away.
Inside the huge floor-to-ceiling glass display window is a series of magical home appliances that look like works of art. Even a simple fully automatic dishwasher has a strong aristocratic feel.
Under the conspicuous sign is a crystal-like sparkling slogan: Nobili, always bringing you the most noble, luxurious and dreamy experience.
Different from the magnificent exterior, the decoration style inside the store tends to be cool colors and metallic textures.
The wallpaper is dark green high-end velvet with silver patterns, the carpet is an exquisite Arabian floral carpet, a huge dark bronze chandelier hangs under the arched ceiling, and there are some dark-colored oil paintings hanging on the walls.
Walking along the hall and through the classical porch, you will come to a small garden full of rare plants.
This is the rest area and also the product trial area.
There is a secret door under the silver snake fountain, which leads to the master's office.
It is also a cold color, but it looks more depressing.
All the shareholders of the Nobili brand were sitting in front of the huge birch round table.
Madame Zabini, wearing unicorn fur, crossed her legs and leisurely flipped through last week's edition of Witch Weekly.
Old Flint, who was sitting opposite her, inconspicuously knocked a magazine off the table.
He quickly leaned over to pick up the magazine, glancing at the long legs under the table.
Her skin is as fair and delicate as that of a girl. It is really hard to believe that she is the mother of a 14-year-old child.
"Cough cough..." Lucius next to him couldn't bear it anymore and coughed.
Old Flynn straightened up with a look of unfulfilled desire. "I say, there are only a few famous people in the wizarding world. Is it really necessary to hold a special meeting to discuss this?"
Mrs. Zabini turned the weekly magazine to the next page, "Franz, popularity is something that changes. The Merlin we are going to shoot starts from the teenage years, so of course we have to be very selective."
Old Flint flipped through the magazine in his hand and said, "Lucretia, how long will it take you to choose?"
Mrs. Zabini frowned slightly and turned another page irritably, "Don't worry, I haven't finished reading the list yet."
Old Parkinson and Old Knott looked at each other and each picked up a weekly magazine to read.
Suddenly, Mrs. Zabini slammed the table hard.
“Wayne…Wayne…Wayne…” Her other hand holding the Witch Weekly was shaking slightly. “Why is it still him!”
To be on so many annual lists at once, it goes without saying that they must have spent a lot of money to bribe the editors.
Lucius had heard Narcissa talk about this before, and at the time he had been disgusted with Witch Weekly, thinking that they were fawning over Muggle-borns.
Now that I think about it carefully, is it possible that all this is actually a setup?
TV series are very popular in the Muggle world, but who knows whether wizards in the magical world will buy into them.
Investing in TV series is undoubtedly extremely risky. Even if it is used to promote a product, there is no need to prepare to shoot the second season before the show starts airing.
Or are there really such fools who invest without considering the return?
With a loud bang, Mrs. Zabini slammed the weekly magazine onto the round table.
Veins bulged from her neck due to her rage, and despite her ferocious features, her voice was still full of enchanting rhythm, "Are you competing for financial strength? Tomorrow I will have all these lists replaced with my son's name!"
These are last week’s weekly issues. I’ve already read what I should read. What’s the point in changing them now?
"Okay!" Old Flint raised one eyebrow, his eyes fixed on her violently heaving chest. "I happen to know the owner of this newspaper, Lucretia. I'll go with you tomorrow."
Lucius shuddered with a chill.
The seventh husband of Madam Zabini, the Bloody Mandala, is not dead yet, but old Flint is so anxious to become the eighth?
He sneered, his grey-blue eyes sweeping over everyone one by one, "The most important thing for us now is to decide on the cast. Apart from Wayne, the only popular young wizards left are those Quidditch stars."
The first choice is naturally the world's number one seeker, Viktor Krum.
But he is a warrior in the Triwizard Tournament, so how could he have the time to participate in the filming?
My dear, there is more to come after this chapter. Please click on the next page to continue reading. There will be more exciting chapters later!
Old Flint tapped the table with his fingertips, occasionally glancing at the poisonous iris opposite him. "In my opinion, there is no need for us to worry too much about popularity. This thing can be hyped up easily."
"Oh?" Mrs. Zabini's beautiful eyes met his aggressive ones, "Franz, what do you mean by that?"
Old Flint grinned. "Lucretia, I think Blaise is a good fit. The Merlin he plays will surely be loved by wizards."
Lucius sneered inwardly.
You have to choose the right time to show your kindness. If "Merlin" fails, the reputation of the Nobili brand, which has not yet been established, will also be destroyed.
"I have no objection." Old Nott glanced at Old Flint with disdain, "But I have to state in advance that the funds invested by the Nott family in the series will be reduced to a certain extent."
"Hmph..." Old Flint waved his hand nonchalantly, "It doesn't matter. I'll make up for what you're missing."
Huh - a fool who is greedy for beauty.
Lucius sneered, "Franz, since you think so highly of Merlin, why don't you just take all the funds and develop it yourself? How about we start a new project?"
Since there is a high probability that it will fail, cut it at the speed of light to avoid losses.
Old Flint frowned slightly, "Lucius, are you scared?"
Lucius looked at Old Nott in tacit understanding, "Are you kidding? Blake and Shafik are preparing to shoot the second season, and we need another card in our hand."
Indeed, if one series fails, there is always another one to take its place.
Old Flint gritted his teeth and said, "Very good. Merlin will be developed by Lucretia and I. By then, it will be clear who is more capable."
Jealous of him, huh? Jealous of him for taking down Madam Zabini and making the Flynns the first family in the British wizarding world, huh?
Just wait and see, when the much-anticipated "Merlin" is aired, these short-sighted guys will realize how stupid the current cut is.
