Chapter 1130 Secret Passage
Reinforcements from the Ministry of Magic will arrive soon, and now is not the time for idle chatter.
Vincent twisted the handle on the left side of the flying gunship, "Bode, right? Find a place to hide yourself. It's not safe here."
The muzzles of the rings were rapidly adjusting in size, and their diameters eventually settled at the width of a thumb, or 2 centimeters.
The staff of the Ministry of Magic responded quickly. They divided the work among themselves, some were responsible for chanting spells, and some were responsible for casting the Shield Charm for defense.
Vincent looked at the black basalt around him. It was effective in resisting magical attacks and was not so easily penetrated. The research of the Department of Mysteries was too mysterious, so it was better to be careful for the sake of safety.
He pressed the fire button, and beams of pure magical energy shot out from the muzzle of the ring.
These rays are magical beams that imitate the long-barreled pistol form of the caduceus, combined with the principles of Muggle laser weapons to create a beam energy weapon.
It consumes Vincent's own mana. Although its power is much smaller than that of a magic beam, it has enough quantity to attack multiple enemies at the same time.
The thumb-sized light blue beam was extremely fast and difficult to be offset by the spells cast by the Ministry of Magic staff. It would cause a huge impact when it hit the barrier of the Shield Charm.
On the other hand, on Vincent's side, the flying gunship's defense barrier never wavered at all. Ordinary staff were certainly no match for Aurors.
Bode has been lying on the ground with his head in his hands since the battle began. His expression is extremely excited, and he stares at the offensive and defensive flying gunship without blinking.
Compared to this perfect work of art that combines Muggle technology and alchemy, wizards' wands are like primitive fire sticks.
"Merlin's beard!" a familiar female voice called out from the open door behind the Ministry staff.
Rita, with disheveled hair, held a butterfly-shaped brooch in her hand and explained it to the audience in the live broadcast room at a very fast speed.
But she arrived a little late. Under the bombardment of magical rays from the flying gunship, the barrier formed by the Ministry of Magic staff was shattered not long after.
The actual damage caused by the light is very similar to that of lightning, and a thumb-sized scorch mark will be left on the surface of an object hit by it.
Even if it is not fatal, a few hits will definitely make you lose your ability to fight.
All the staff of the Ministry of Magic fell to the ground groaning in pain. Vincent looked at Rita and Bode who was still lying on the ground, then drove the flying gunship up rapidly and pointed all the gun muzzles upwards to continuously shine light.
There is a limit to the amount of magical attacks that black basalt can withstand, and a large piece of the ceiling was soon cut off.
"May-Wayne!" Bode shouted from below, "What is the principle behind these rays?"
"I'll tell you when I have a chance." Without looking back, Vincent drove the flying gunboat to the atrium on the eighth underground floor.
There were still as many wizards in the hall, but they were all huddled in the corner, trembling and looking at Vincent.
There was nothing they could do about it. Every form Pandora displayed had powerful firepower. Even if they deliberately switched to non-lethal ammunition, they would still feel afraid instinctively.
Vincent didn't stay long and cut off another large piece of ceiling to reach the seventh floor underground.
This was home to the Department of Magical Games and Sports, the headquarters of the British and Irish Quidditch League, the official Gobstones clubhouse, and the Funny Goods Patent Office, which had just come under siege when he arrived.
The flying gunboat opened fire at full power and knocked down the ambushing Ministry of Magic employees in just a few encounters.
There was no ambush on the sixth underground floor. Perhaps it was because Vincent had found a good position. The place he arrived at was the door key office.
There are all kinds of strange-shaped door keys here. The office director is an old wizard with gray hair who fainted when he saw Vincent.
There is an acquaintance on the fifth underground floor. He is Percy, who is currently still serving as the assistant director of the Department of International Magical Cooperation.
Old Barty is still lying in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Perhaps he thinks this is a good opportunity to show off his abilities. Percy has been eating and sleeping here lately, and only goes back home occasionally.
"Vincent!" Percy clenched the "Magical Projection Exit Report" in his hand with a troubled look on his face. "You're not going to use this method to get back to the ground, are you?"
“We can’t go through the front door.” Vincent smiled and pushed down the handle of the flying gunship, turning it back into a briefcase.
He glanced at the report in Percy's hand, "Not bad, it's been exported overseas."
Percy forced a smile. "Do you really have to go against the Ministry of Magic? Vincent, I know you have a better solution. Temporarily concealing the news of the mysterious man actually has many advantages. At least it will not cause panic among the people, so that we can better deploy the plan."
"Yes." Vincent keenly noticed a flash of confusion in his eyes. "The best situation is of course to solve Voldemort secretly."
Percy nodded.
"But..." Vincent patted his shoulder, "I have my bottom line. Hiding the truth can only ease the panic. Do you really believe that the Ministry of Magic is capable of solving Voldemort's problem?"
Percy opened his mouth, but no words came out.
Even Dumbledore could only chase people away. On the other hand, the Ministry of Magic, with almost all its members mobilized, couldn't even do anything to Vincent in front of them, so how could they deal with Voldemort?
"I'm leaving now." Vincent patted Percy's shoulder again. "Come home more often when you have time. Aunt Molly kept asking if you ate well during dinner just now, and Uncle Arthur said that you don't have to work so hard. He is proud that you can work in the Ministry of Magic."
Percy felt his eyes burning hot, as if something was about to burst out.

He looked at Vincent's back as he left, and silently loosened the report in his hand.
For any adult, family and career should not be a choice.
Vincent left the Department of International Magical Cooperation and went to the International Magical Trade Standards Association next door.
There is no one here. After all, trade standards don't need to be on duty 24 hours a day.
Vincent looked down at the time displayed on the magic communicator.
At 10:57 pm, those Ministry of Magic employees who normally got off work should have returned to the Ministry of Magic.
He turned on the projection screen and saw densely packed red dots on the surface through the control panel.
The Ministry of Magic is now under lockdown. Apparition, Floo powder and portkeys are all prohibited. There should be secret passages in and out where the red dots are gathered.
"Hmm?" Vincent's eyes suddenly lit up.
He took a few steps back and then moved slightly to the right.
If nothing unexpected happens, the secret passage is most likely located four floors above his head.
It would be no problem to penetrate four floors or even directly to the surface in one breath, but if someone is hurt by accident, I can only say sorry.
Vincent activated Pandora's 9th form, transforming it into a heavy artillery that was much more exaggerated in size than an anti-material sniper rifle.
The muzzle is over three meters long and uses specially made 120mm fine gold armor-piercing bullets, which can be given different special effects based on the engraved magic runes.
Although it has not been tested, it is powerful enough to sink the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier Emilia in one shot.
