Chapter 1140 Helmut Schmidt
The person who opened the door was a little boy about 10 years old. He was not surprised at all to see Vincent in front of him wearing a mithril robe.
"who are you?"
"Vincent Wayne."
The boy was obviously stunned and looked out the door nervously.
Vincent walked into the mansion. "Is Mr. Helmut Schmidt here?"
"Grandpa is here." The boy closed the door. "Wait a moment, I'll call him down."
Like most pure-blood wizard families, any decoration in the Schmidt family's mansion contains a powerful magical aura.
Vincent stood in front of a gorgeous display window and seemed very interested in the small ornaments inside.
“These are the items that our family ancestors once used.”
Vincent turned around and saw a thin old wizard standing on the stairs leading to the second floor.
He had a head full of silver hair and looked extremely weak, but his eyes were exceptionally bright.
"Good evening, Herr Helmut Schmidt."
Helmut walked down the stairs slowly with his cane, "Good evening, Grindelwald's heir."
Vincent frowned slightly.
Each of these Wiccan Party members regards him as Grindelwald's successor. These idealists are really persistent.
"Mr. Schmidt, Grindelwald is only my teacher. I am not his successor."
Helmut seemed a little unhappy, "So, Mr. Vincent Wayne, what is your purpose here?"
Vincent looked directly into his weathered eyes and said, "I invite you to join my Order Society."
"The Order of the Sequence?" Helmut threw his head back and laughed a few times. "What is this? A student club?"
Vincent pretended to glance out the window casually and said, "Mr. Schmidt, how many years have you not been out to see the outside world? I'm talking about the Muggle world."
The displeasure on Helmut's face was already evident. "Mr. Wayne, you are a Muggle-born wizard, but don't you underestimate magic too much?"
This was a sense of superiority that came from pure-blood wizards, and Vincent was all too familiar with it.
He walked towards the window and said, "Mr. Schmidt, do you know what I did before I came here?"
Helmut frowned, feeling an ominous premonition inexplicably rising in his heart.
"I caused a little trouble for the wizards sent by the German Ministry of Magic to monitor you, and I came in through the front door. Why do you think this happened?"
"You..." Helmut's face showed fear, "How dare you put the blame on me!?"
Vincent, who was standing in front of the window, turned around and looked at him with a smile. "I don't want to waste time convincing you one by one, Mr. Schmidt. You have two choices now. One is to join my Order Society, and the other is to be imprisoned in Eckerstag by the German Ministry of Magic."
Helmut saw an indescribable confidence in his smile.
Being threatened, especially by a boy under 20 years old, Helmut suddenly realized that he was old.
"Okay, I'll join your Order Society."
"A wise choice." Vincent walked up to him, his whole face squirming madly, "I will take your place next. If you make such a big fuss, the German Ministry of Magic will immediately put me in Extag."
Helmut's pupils shrank instantly, as if he had seen something extremely shocking, "You... your Transfiguration has reached this level."
Vincent's body and limbs, which were pressed against his face, made a series of crackling sounds. "Is this weird?"
Vincent's teacher was Grindelwald, whom he once followed desperately, so it would be strange if his Transfiguration skills were not at this level.
"What is your purpose? Once you step into Ekstag, you will never be able to breathe the fresh air outside again."
The German wizarding world is different from the British wizarding world. There is more than one prison specifically for imprisoning wizard criminals, and Eckerstag is the highest level wizard prison among them.
Vincent, who had completely transformed into Helmut, took off the Flamel ring on his hand and said, "I said, I don't want to waste time trying to convince you one by one."
"Knock knock--" There was a sudden knock on the door.
Vincent held out Flamel's ring and said, "Aren't there a lot of Witch Party members imprisoned in Extag? If I can lead them to escape successfully, I won't have to prove anything to you or them."
Helmut said solemnly: "Young man, do you know what Eckerstag is? It is a dark hell."
Vincent shook the ring lightly, signaling him to take it. "Hell? Mr. Newt Scamander was able to escape successfully when he was young. Mr. Schmidt, do you underestimate me?"
"Knock knock knock--" The knocking on the door outside became more rapid.
Helmut took the ring with an extremely complicated look, "What if you fail?"
Vincent smiled and said, "Take your family to Victor and give him the ring. I know you have a way."
"Knock, knock, knock--" the knocking on the door turned into banging.
Helmut nodded solemnly, "I understand."
The knocking on the door became louder and louder. After he went upstairs, Vincent slowly opened the door.
There were five angry wizards standing outside. They walked into the mansion very rudely and surrounded Vincent.
"Helmut Schmidt, you just ran out secretly!"
"Of course." Vincent admitted generously, "Do you like the little trouble I cause you?"
A tall wizard grabbed him by the collar, "Schmidt! What the hell are you planning?"
Vincent pinched the other's wrist and said, "Nothing. I'm old now and want to find a suitable place to retire and visit some old friends."

The wizard frowned, and his wrist, which was pinched, was actually pried open.
"Can't the German Ministry of Magic grant me this little wish?"
The five wizards were facing a formidable enemy and drew their wands to point at Vincent.
"Visiting? Schmidt! It was you who caused the Black Forest's Fiendfyre!"
Vincent patted his wrinkled collar. "I did it."
He held out his hands, his eyes full of provocation, "Why? Is the charge not enough?"
Helmut, who has lived here honestly for half a century, actually dared to challenge the authority of the German Ministry of Magic. This old guy must be crazy.
The tall wizard took out a pair of silver handcuffs from his pocket and said, "Schmidt, I'll help you!"
With a "click", Vincent's hands were handcuffed.
His reaction was beyond the expectations of the five wizards. He actually looked at the silver-white handcuffs on his hands with curiosity.
"Schmidt, I advise you to save your energy. These handcuffs are specially made for you witches. As long as your hands are handcuffed with them, even Grindelwald can't use magic."
Vincent smiled at the tall wizard, "So that's how it is."
There is nothing special about the handcuffs themselves. The reason why they can prohibit wizards from using magic is due to a set of complex magical runes engraved inside the hollow inside.
In order to enhance the effect, it is also mixed with a very small amount of mithril. Even someone as strong as Grindelwald may not be able to decipher it in a short time.
But Vincent is an alchemist, and not just any alchemist.
