The three of Harry were promoted to the third grade, and there were a few more optional courses, and the first class this morning was an optional course-divination.
The divination classroom was located on the eighth floor, but it was in another direction. After a lot of effort, Harry and the others finally reached a wide platform.
The terrace was empty except for a painting on the wall, in which a fat gray pony was walking slowly, and a knight in armor was chasing the pony.
This knight's spirit obviously has some problems, and words like "Follow me to charge bravely, a true warrior will not be afraid of danger" come out of his mouth from time to time.
Even so, the knight still fulfilled the duty of a guide, and after some tossing, he led Harry and the others to a rather quaint spiral staircase.
The layout of the divination class classroom is a bit strange. Dozens of round tables are crowded in this classroom. A tablecloth full of floral prints is spread on the round table.
Not only are there prints on the tablecloth, there are also beautiful prints on the soft cushions beside the table.
Rows of display racks were nailed on several walls, and there were all kinds of gadgets on the racks, stacks of playing cards, stacks of teacups, and crystals for spares ball.
Rather than saying that this is a classroom, it may be more like a high-end Indian teahouse that only Brahmins can enter.
"It's hot!" said Harry, tugging at his collar.
"Can it not be hot?" Ron pointed forward, where there was a not-so-small fireplace, the firewood in the fireplace was piled high, and a large copper kettle was making a "whining" boiling sound.
Accompanied by the sound of boiling, there is also a sweet and greasy aroma that looks like sandalwood. If you take a few deep breaths, you will feel a little dizzy.
"It feels suitable for sleeping..." Harry couldn't help but let out a long yawn.
"I think so too." Ron agreed, "Let's find a back position? It shouldn't be easy to find us being lazy."
Hermione glared at them dissatisfiedly, and directly found a middle seat to sit down.
Many students who arrived early had the same thoughts as Harry and the others. They felt that they were not suitable for such a warm and fragrant environment if they didn't get a good night's sleep.
Of course, such people are only a part of them, and the other part is full of energy, and their eyes are full of curiosity about this brand new course.
Originally, Harry also planned to listen carefully, and even straightened his back under Hermione's urging.
However, when the divination professor appeared, the concentration of listening to the lecture immediately began to decline exponentially.
Trelawney began to introduce herself, stating that the reason why she rarely showed up was mainly because she needed to stay away from the crowd to ensure the purity of her celestial eyes.
"I saw her yesterday!" Ron said firmly. "It was at the teacher's long table. She held Professor Lupine's hand and said something."
"However, according to my feelings, I guess she should be drinking, and the way she walks is shaky, and she is already drunk!"
Harry felt a little sleepy. He also saw a woman teetering at the teacher's desk yesterday, but he didn't expect it to be Professor Trelawney.
Professor Trelawney is undoubtedly very experienced. After introducing herself, she began to make some small predictions, such as a death prophecy, that one of the people present would leave here forever.
"Do you believe it?" Ron frowned and whispered to Harry.
Before Harry could reply, Ron suddenly raised his hand, and a fat mouse appeared on his hand, "Scabbets! Why are you in my pocket!"
Fortunately, Professor Trelawney started handing out teacups and didn't notice Ron and Harry's little tricks.
What they are going to learn today is tea divination. They need to pour a cup of tea, observe the shape of the tea after drinking the tea, and then interpret the meaning represented by the shape according to the textbook "Picking the Mist to See the Future".
This was undoubtedly a very boring process, especially the book "Picking Through the Fog to See the Future", the handwriting on it was so dense that Harry's eyes were filled with stares, and he almost fell asleep on the book.
Observing tea leaves is very boring. You need to keep turning the teacup, and at the same time, you can barely see the shape of the tea leaves.
Harry couldn't hold on any longer, and when it was pitch black, Professor Trelawney's hollow voice suddenly exploded in his ears.
"Ominous! This is ominous!" Trelawney grabbed Harry's shoulders and shook him vigorously, bringing Harry to his senses. "This is the scariest kind of ominous! A black dog! It represents death!"
"Black dog?" Harry raised his voice, as if thinking of something.
However, Hermione disagreed with Trelawney's point of view. This was the first time Hermione questioned the authority of the teacher. Even when Lockhart and Quirrell were teaching, she never did such a thing.
A series of events made the following divination class even more difficult. Hermione noticed Harry's strange expression, and quickly comforted her: "Harry! Don't listen to Professor Trelawney..."
Before Hermione could finish speaking, Harry shook his head and said, "If it's a black dog, I did see a black dog the day I left my uncle's house, a huge black dog."
Ron accepted Hermione's gaze and said in an uncertain tone, "Maybe it's a stray dog?"
"There are no stray dogs that big, not even in a zoo." Harry shook his head, rejecting Ron's guess.
He directly closed "Putting Through the Fog to See the Future" and made up his mind: "No way! I have to talk to Professor Kong!"
Ron couldn't help putting his hands on Harry's shoulder and said with a smile, "Dude! I think Professor Kong will definitely regret it, regretting why he always emphasized that you should find the teacher if you have any difficulties, so that you can ask him for a small report."
Harry sighed helplessly, "Professor Kong is the most suitable person to talk to, he will always handle things well, I only trust him!"
After the divination class, Harry and the others went straight to the auditorium, and sure enough, they found Kong Nuo's figure here.
Without hesitation, Harry directly told what happened in today's divination class.
"A big black dog?" Kong Nuo touched his chin, "You think it's an ominous omen."
"Yes!" Harry nodded quickly, "Maybe just like thestrals, only those who are about to be enveloped by ominous will see the big black dog that represents the ominous omen!"
"If that's the case, I still want to see it." Kong Nuo pulled out a pair of palm-sized iron swords from the Martial Arts Golden Elixir.
This is his newly improved Feijianxin. Although it is only the size of a palm, it can lead people to fly. It can be regarded as a small prop for escaping.
"If you meet the big black dog again, inject magic power into the blue sword, and I will find you at that time. If you are in danger, inject magic power into the red sword, it can take you away .”
