Chapter 1172, Part 1 of the Plan: Deceiving Hela's Vision
Loki blinked, then grinned. "I have no objection."
"Rather than risk being discovered by Hela and then stabbed to death by her sword, it's better to stay on this spaceship."
I assure you I will protect the Asgardians on the spaceship, so you have nothing to worry about.
Thor and his two companions looked at each other, speechless.
Letting Loki join us carries the risk of being betrayed, but leaving him behind... feels even more unsettling.
“Your Highness, bringing him from Sakaar was a mistake,” Valkyrie said, both amused and exasperated.
"We can't just send him back!"
"If you don't mind the trouble, I don't mind either way," Loki said with a relaxed smile. Anyway, they wouldn't kill him, so he wouldn't lose out no matter which way he chose.
“Let him go with us,” Thor said after a moment’s thought. “He might help us, or he might run away, but he won’t betray us.”
"Thor, that's hardly credible."
Loki, your brother, don't you know what kind of god he is?
“I’m willing to believe him one more time.” Thor looked at Loki, hesitated, and said, “You’ve disappointed me countless times, one more time won’t make a difference.”
But Odin, Frigga, if you betray their trust, you will truly be all alone in this universe.
Loki's smile vanished. "Are you lecturing me?"
"I'm just reminding you."
“Why don’t we leave him on the spaceship?” Valkyrie said. “With the ‘Creator’ around, he can’t cause any trouble.”
“I accept your teachings,” Loki said immediately. “I will help you as we agreed before, but unless you’ve lost your mind, I won’t go after our sister.”
"can."
The four of them boarded a spaceship, activated stealth mode and detection systems, and flew into the city.
Valkyrie looked at Asgard, which was almost unchanged from her memory, and couldn't help but feel sentimental. "I never thought I would be able to come back again."
“This may be the last time,” Loki said, leaning back in his chair. “If nothing unexpected happens, Ragnarok will destroy all of Asgard.”
Thor frowned slightly. "Loki, are you hiding something from me?"
How did you figure that out?
"really have?"
“Yes!” Loki nodded solemnly. “It really exists, but I’m not going to tell you.”
"Is it related to Ragnarok?"
"you guess?"
“Loki,” Thor’s voice rose a few decibels, barely suppressing his anger, “You should know what’s important, shouldn’t you? This isn’t a prank.”
"This is Odin's will; he doesn't want me to tell you."
Odin is truly wise; with your intelligence, knowing too much will surely lead to trouble.
Odin's words immediately extinguished Thor's anger, and he quickly calmed down, because Loki was probably telling the truth this time.
His sister suddenly appeared and killed Odin, awakened the power of Thor on Sakaar, Odin's arrangements for Heimdall, and Ragnarok, hanging like a knife over his head, could fall at any moment... Even if he was slow to react, he would have sensed that something was wrong.
"Besides you, who else knows?"
“Frigga,” Loki said half-jokingly, “she knows all of Odin’s plans, including parts I don’t know about.”
Thor's expression was uncertain, but he didn't ask any more questions.
Valkyrie paid no attention to Thor and Loki's conversation.
She knew all too well what kind of cunning Odin was; he would definitely arrange his affairs before he died, otherwise he wouldn't be able to go to Valhalla in peace.
Banner's eyes darted around, and he silently praised the God of Contracts in his heart.
The great god of the contract;
The ancient and noble inheritor;
Creator of the mind, master of shadows...
"What's wrong?" Aaron was enjoying his meal at the restaurant when he heard Banner's plea.
“Master, I’ve made an unexpected discovery that you might need to know about.” Banner repeated Thor and Loki’s conversation. “It’s like this: I suspect that Odin has already made arrangements for Ragnarok in Asgard.”
“Be more confident.” Aaron chuckled. “Remove the word ‘doubt.’ If Odin doesn’t make any arrangements, I’ll be the one who’s worried.”
"I'm worried that we might unknowingly become part of Odin's plan," Banner said bluntly. "It's not that I'm being paranoid, but the death of the Ancient One is a cautionary tale!"
Upon hearing this, Aaron unconsciously frowned.
Banner's reminder was timely; none of the veteran powerhouses in this universe are pushovers.
He used to never even leave Earth, but now he's right next to Asgard, this 'powder keg'.
When did he become so 'lax'?
Yes, it seems they knew they were about to "get ashore," so they naturally relaxed a bit.
No, the journey of a hundred miles is only half complete at ninety.
Before truly leaving this universe, we must be even more vigilant, otherwise all these years of patience will have become a complete joke.
"Dr. Banner, you don't need to do anything extra from now on. Just help them move the people of Asgard as you can. Don't have any curiosity."
Also, if you discover anything unusual along the way, please report it to me immediately.
"clear."
After cutting off contact, Aaron took a deep breath and calmed his turbulent emotions.
Stay calm, don't panic, remain composed.
Odin must have made arrangements, but so what?
As long as he doesn't enter Asgard and get involved in the troubles of the Odin family, he won't be dragged into this apocalyptic turmoil.
As for Hela... just find a way to help her when Ragnarok comes, how difficult can it be?
However... we still need to be as safe as possible.
Aaron gently stroked the emerald ring on his hand. "System, open the task panel."

"Congratulations, host, on completing the mission and receiving 1500 magic points."

call!
Aaron slowly exhaled a breath of stale air. He had thought he could restrain the urge to 'shop till he got home,' but... right now he seemed to need to transform his accumulated capital into strength.
As Aaron's gaze swept over the various product displays, a bitter smile crept onto his lips.
Well, it seems like I still don't have enough money!
He now has 2,500 magic points, just enough to acquire the super magic 'Fairy Law', and then he'll have nothing left.
However, if we change our approach and temporarily abandon this super magic, we can purchase more cost-effective items.
blah blah blah!
Aaron tapped his fingers on the table, and after much deliberation, he decided to abandon the 'Fairy Law'.
Firstly, this magic is too conspicuous. Once used, it would be like lighting a beacon called 'Gaius' in the universe, attracting countless powerful enemies to surround it, which is simply not worth it.
Secondly, 'Fairy Law' is a wide-range attack magic. Over the years, he has encountered many powerful enemies, but it seems that every time it was a 'one-on-one' battle. Even his familiars have rarely had the chance to appear. Moreover, the power of the single-target attack magic he has mastered is no weaker than 'Fairy Law'.
The only reason he stayed in Asgard was to pull Helix out of the way at the last moment; how many people died at other times was none of his concern.
Simply put, he won't have the chance to use the 'fairy law' before leaving this universe.
Since that's the case, why not pick out a few that might come in handy?
Thinking this, Aaron looked at the shop interface again and selected 'Eye of the Demon' from the magic bar, 'Resurrection Card' from the item bar, and 'Eye of Horus'.
......
Meanwhile, Thor used Heimdall's vision to avoid the patrolling skeleton soldiers and successfully brought a group of Asgardians from the outer city onto the Monster.
“This is the first batch.” Thor looked at the two hundred Asgardians who had been taken to be housed in the lower deck of the spaceship and breathed a slight sigh of relief. “We were lucky; we weren’t discovered.”
“It’s normal that we weren’t discovered,” Loki said matter-of-factly. “There aren’t many guards in the outer city, and of course, the number of Asgardians is relatively small.”
"We can first relocate the people in the outer city, and then carefully relocate the people in the inner city."
But we need to be prepared that the chances of being discovered increase as time goes on. Our sister isn't so oblivious as to not notice the sharp decline in the number of her kingdom's inhabitants.
"We'll see when the time comes!" Thor said thoughtfully, then suddenly remembered something. "Loki, can your magic conjure up the people of Asgard?"
"To confuse Hela?" Loki rolled his eyes speechlessly. "Brother, I thought your intelligence had improved, but it seems I was overthinking it."
But that makes sense; even fools can have a flash of inspiration sometimes.
"What do you mean?"
“He’s insulting you.” Valkyrie, always eager for drama, said, “Why don’t we just keep him on the ship and give him a deluxe single room?”
"I don't think I've offended you! How much do you want me to go to jail?!"
"Just a reminder, you've offended me."
Loki's eye twitched slightly. "Isn't it just reminding you of the past?"
"I've been tied up here by you all, shouldn't we turn the page now?"
“I’m not that petty, I just simply think you’re an unstable factor.”
"Agreed." Banner nodded in deep agreement.
Loki shrugged. "Okay, where's my room?"
"Alright, let's get back to the point," Thor interrupted. "Can't you do it?"
"Asgard has hundreds of thousands of people. You can't expect me to conjure up hundreds of thousands of people, can you?"
If I truly possessed that much magic, Hela wouldn't be sitting on the throne.
“Even if you have that much magic, you still can’t beat her,” Valkyrie said bluntly.
“Yes, you’re right.” Loki said noncommittally, “After all, she’s the Goddess of Death who single-handedly wiped out the Valkyrie Legion; she’s far more powerful than me.”
Swish!
Valkyrie immediately drew her Dragon Fang sword and pointed it at him, saying, "My patience has its limits. You'd better not challenge it again and again."
Loki chuckled and raised his hands. "There won't be a next time."
“You don’t need to conjure up that many people, just a portion will suffice,” Thor said.
"Thor, you... haven't changed at all, just as adorably silly as before." Loki said, both amused and exasperated. "Who do you think I am? My magic is just at the level of an ordinary sub-Father."
But Hela is the real Heavenly Father; my magic can't fool her.
"It's not impossible to fool her. Don't forget, there's a magician on this spaceship who's even more powerful than me."
“Impossible,” Banner said bluntly. “I’m sure he won’t help.”
“How will we know if we don’t try?” Thor said. “We’re not asking him to fight Hela, we just need him to put in some effort…”
“That’s impossible,” Banner emphasized again. “I know him better than you do. This spaceship is the greatest help he can give you.”
But no more than that is impossible. What you described as "exerting a little effort" is an enormous risk for him. If Hela finds out, a major battle is inevitable.
"He will only be an observer and will never get himself into trouble."
“If you go directly to him, he’ll definitely refuse, but if there are two people involved, he might listen to you,” Loki said with a meaningful smile.
"You mean... Daisy? And Wanda?" Thor asked uncertainly. "Is that plausible?"
"There's no harm in trying."
"It's best not to," Banner said seriously. "If you ask him for help, he will refuse without hesitation."
But if you try to find him through Daisy and Wanda, there's only one possibility: he'll kick you all off the ship and leave Asgard without looking back.
