The sun shone into the bedroom through the gaps in the curtains, casting mottled shadows on the floor. Lin Ke'er was awakened by the sound of birds singing outside the window. She opened her eyes and saw Ye Tianming looking at her gently, with the doting in his eyes almost overflowing.

"What are you doing today?" Ye Tianming's voice was full of early morning magnetism. "Do you want to get up and go to Longhai City?"

Lin Ke'er's eyes lit up like a child who got candy. "Okay! I want to go see the street we used to go to."

After washing up, they walked out of the house hand in hand. The early morning in Longhai City was filled with a lazy atmosphere. The sycamore trees on both sides of the street were lush and green. The sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves, forming dancing spots of light on the ground.

They walked slowly along the street, Ye Tianming's hand always tightly holding Lin Ke'er's, as if he was afraid that she would disappear if he let go.

Walking to the breakfast shop on the corner, Lin Keer stopped, her eyes full of nostalgia.

The two of them sat by the window, eating their familiar breakfast, as if they had returned to those carefree days.
