Chapter 611 The Future of the Otsutsuki Clan
It's important to know that Orochimaru didn't actually have much ambition after defecting from Konoha. He just wanted to find a few secluded places to quietly conduct human experiments.
When he occasionally goes out for a stroll, he usually takes a few people with special physical constitutions and bloodline limits back with him to use as experimental subjects.
However, just when Orochimaru wanted to conduct his research in peace, he was approached by the leader of the Akatsuki organization who called himself a god, and he was forced to join the organization by extremely forceful means.
After all, Orochimaru was rarely in such a sorry state when forced by the Rinnegan.
Although Orochimaru later seized an opportunity to leave the Akatsuki organization, that remains one of the past events that Orochimaru is unwilling to recall.
Now, Orochimaru learned from Uchiha Kakuzan that the god-like man was actually Jiraiya's former disciple.
In other words, if Jiraiya hadn't indiscriminately taken on disciples, the person who called himself Pain wouldn't have grown to that level, and wouldn't have made him look so pathetic.
This is what made Orochimaru somewhat vulnerable.
However, Orochimaru was no ordinary man. Under Uchiha Kakuzan's watchful gaze, he quickly composed himself and asked in a hoarse voice:
"So, Pain, who awakened the Rinnegan, was the prophesied child that Jiraiya found?"
At this point, Orochimaru's face revealed a mocking smile, and he continued:
"It seems that guy has slipped out of Jiraiya's control and can no longer save the world..."
Orochimaru had been in contact with Pain for a period of time and knew quite a bit about him.
In his view, Pain was simply a madman, and the Akatsuki organization he founded was a terrorist organization that opposed the entire world.
The idea that someone like this could save the world is simply a pipe dream.
Upon hearing Orochimaru's slightly gloating words, Uchiha Kakuzan shook his head and said:
"Actually, there is a Child of Prophecy, and I have already found him and am now carefully nurturing him. As for Pain, he was just a crooked sapling, but I have now straightened him out."
Upon hearing Uchiha Kakuzan's words, Orochimaru's face twitched slightly.
A crooked sapling?
That little tree almost killed him.
Uchiha Kakuzan ignored Orochimaru's expression and continued:
"The reason I brought up Jiraiya's matter with you is to tell you."
Jiraiya's search for the Child of Prophecy, based on the prophecy of the Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, was indeed true.
At this point, with a thought from Uchiha Kakuzan, his beautiful, alluring, and seemingly complex Mangekyou Sharingan appeared before Orochimaru.
Immediately afterwards, Uchiha Kakuyama pointed to his Mangekyou Sharingan and said:
"The reason I was able to find that prophetic child is because of my eyes that can see into the future."
Originally, when Orochimaru revealed his Mangekyou Sharingan at Uchiha Hill, his body tensed up slightly, and he became more vigilant.
But after hearing what he said, he stood there stunned. All the inconsistencies in his mind seemed to have found their best answer, and he suddenly understood.
After a long while, Orochimaru finally came to his senses. His gaze was fixed on Uchiha Kakuzan's Mangekyou Sharingan, his eyes filled with fanaticism and a thirst for knowledge. Even his voice became lower and hoarse.
"I see, I see. That explains why Qiu Shan-jun was able to lead the Uchiha clan to break through the encirclement and suppression by the Third Hokage and Danzo, and not only take control of the entire Hidden Leaf Village, but also make the Uchiha clan stronger and stronger."
So, such terrifying eye techniques really do exist in this world.
Orochimaru is arguably the most knowledgeable person, and naturally he knows something about the Mangekyou Sharingan's eye techniques.
Moreover, Orochimaru had experienced Itachi's terrifying power when they first met, so he quickly guessed the reason.
Upon hearing Orochimaru's words, Uchiha Kakuzan did not object, but nodded and said:
"It only allows you to see fragments of the future; it doesn't mean you're all-knowing and all-powerful as you imagine."
At this point, Uchiha Kakuyama gave Orochimaru a meaningful look and continued:
"For example, I still haven't figured out exactly how many people you've planted the Heavenly Curse Mark on."
The Heavenly Curse Seal is related to Orochimaru's secret of near-infinite rebirth, so upon hearing Uchiha Kakuzan's words, Orochimaru's expression froze, and he finally managed to force a smile.
"Qiu Shanjun is joking. These are just some underhanded tricks, not worth mentioning."
Seeing that Orochimaru was almost sweating profusely, Uchiha Kakuzan stopped teasing him and continued:
"Orochimaru, the reason I'm telling you this secret isn't to threaten you, but to tell you that in my vision of the future, a new Otsutsuki clan will descend upon our world. Do you understand?"
