The dormitory area of St. Freya Academy is located behind a cherry blossom forest. The new white buildings sparkle in the afternoon sun. After lunch, Rita led Kiana and Mei through a path full of pink flowers and stopped in front of a door with a nameplate of "A-03".
"This is the dormitory assigned to Ms. Kiana and Ms. Mei." Rita handed over the electronic door card with a smile, "Considering your 'specialness', this is an independent suite with a private bathroom and a kitchenette. I hope you like it."
"Wow! A private suite!" Kiana's eyes lit up and she grabbed the door card. "Thank you, Sister Rita! Mei, let's go in and take a look!"
The door lock made a soft "beep" sound, and Kiana pushed the door open impatiently—

A mixture of a faint smell of alcohol, instant noodle seasoning packets, and some old dust hit them in the face. Kiana and Mei both froze at the door.
What I saw before me was not at all the neat and bright student dormitory I had imagined.
There were several empty beer cans scattered on the living room floor, like landmines. A wrinkled military jacket was draped over the armrest of the sofa, with a pair of black stockings underneath. The low table was piled with various folders, opened snack bags, and several half-eaten, hardened rice balls. The most conspicuous thing was the wall - there were two heavy swords used for training, with bandages wrapped around the hilts that were oozing with sweat.
"This...is this the wrong way?"
Kiana rubbed her eyes in disbelief. "Where's the 'private suite' you promised me? This is clearly some sloppy uncle's doghouse!"
Mei carefully avoided the beer cans on the floor and glanced at the messy open kitchenette. The sink was piled with unwashed dishes, and the stove was splattered with suspicious dark oil stains. Her sight finally settled on the corner of the living room—there were several half-open suitcases piled there, with some clothes stuffed in them. On top was a sexy black suspender dress with sequins, which was out of tune with the rough environment around it.
This style...is not what a student in the academy should have.
Sure enough, just as Mei was thinking this, the door of the inner bedroom was slammed open with a bang!

"You definitely did it on purpose!"
Ji Zi angrily accused, she scanned the messy living room - although there were a lot of garbage bags, there were still stubborn oil stains on the floor, and a corner of suspicious black lace fabric seemed to be exposed under the sofa. The pile of documents and snack bags on the low table were just roughly gathered together and were shaky. "Come and help! One garbage bag per person! And you, Rita! I know you brought cleaning tools! Don't hide them!"

The smile on Rita's face deepened a little. She conjured up a pair of white lace gloves from somewhere and put them on. She picked up a spray bottle that exuded a faint lemon scent and began to carefully wipe the greasy stove and sink. Her movements were so fast that they almost left afterimages.
Kiana picked up a sticky rice ball with two fingers and stuffed it into the garbage bag with disgust, muttering softly: "You did this by yourself, why did you drag us into this..."
Ji Zi was struggling to lift up the sofa, trying to clean up the "treasures" piled up underneath, including the suspicious black lace. Hearing this, she did not even turn her head and said, "As a future tenant, it is your obligation to familiarize yourself with the environment in advance and participate in the construction! Do you understand?"
Mei didn't say anything, but resigned herself to rolling up her sleeves and walking to the sink to deal with the pile of dishes that were covered with an unknown solid substance. Although her movements were a little clumsy and unfamiliar, her expression was extremely focused and serious.
With the presence of Rita, the all-round maid, and the "hard work" of the three people, the living room, which was originally like a post-war ruin, was undergoing a transformation at a speed visible to the naked eye. In less than an hour, the whole living room was completely transformed. The floor was shiny, the kitchen stove was gleaming, and on the low table was even a white porcelain vase with a few fresh cherry blossoms in it that Rita had found out of nowhere. The sunlight poured in through the clean windows, illuminating the tiny dust floating in the air - that was the only "residue".
"Phew...I'm so exhausted..."
Ji Zi collapsed on the sofa that finally saw the light of day, like a fish out of water. The loose shirt she was wearing was stained with dust, and the collar was crooked, revealing her delicate collarbone, but the whole person exuded a lazy atmosphere of "finally freed".
