Chapter 1000: Yingyang's Anger

"boom!"

The door of the command room of the Tau Empire battleship was completely blasted open by the melta weapon. The molten metal dripped like magma, and the air was filled with a pungent burnt smell.

The Space Marines of the Blood Angels Legion rushed in like a hurricane, with the Terminator Squad leading the charge. The roar of the heavy bombs was deafening, and a rain of bullets swept across the entire command room.

The soldiers of the Tau Empire were dressed in advanced battle suits and armed with pulse weapons. Despite the overwhelming firepower of the Space Marines, they still resisted tenaciously.

And in the center of the command room was the Tau commander of this fleet.

He was an elite warrior dressed in gorgeous combat uniform, and at this moment he was still loudly commanding the remaining troops.

His voice was calm and firm. Even though the situation was extremely unfavorable, he did not back down.

"Hold your ground! For the Greater Good!"

The Tau commander roared, firing his pulse rifle accurately at the oncoming Space Marines.

His battle suit glowed with the light of an energy shield, and even though the shield flickered and was on the verge of collapse under the bombardment of heavy bombs, he still stood firm.

The captain noticed the stubborn commander and a hint of grim interest flashed in his eyes.

He waved his hand, signaling the Terminator squad to cease fire temporarily, and strode towards the Tau Empire commander.

The power sword hummed in his hand, the energy field on the blade glowing a deadly blue.

"Alien bastard, your courage is nothing in front of us." The company commander's low voice came through the helmet with a hint of sarcasm.

The Tau commander did not respond, but simply held the energy blade tightly in his hand, staring at the company commander.

His battle suit was torn and his shield was gone, but he still took a fighting stance, ready for the final showdown.

At this moment, the system screen in the command room suddenly lit up, and the face of the Tau commander Yingyang appeared on the screen.

Her eyes were filled with shock at first, as she saw her subordinates falling one after another under the violent attack of the Space Marines, and the command room was a river of blood.

Her fingers trembled slightly and a look of disbelief flashed in her eyes.

The company commander glanced at the screen, a cruel smile on his face.

He struck out suddenly, and the power sword struck the Tau commander like lightning.

The Tau commander barely blocked the blow, and the blade collided with the power sword, causing dazzling sparks to burst out.

However, the captain's strength was far beyond his imagination, and the second blow knocked him to the ground.

"Watch out, alien scum!"

The Captain sneered, stamping on the Tau commander's chest, the tip of his power sword at his throat, "This is the end of what you call the Greater Good."

Yingyang's shock was quickly replaced by anger. She slammed her fist on the console, her voice cold and murderous: "Human, you will pay the price..."

The captain ignored her voice and slowly thrust the tip of the power sword into the shoulder armor of the Tau Empire commander. The sound of metal being torn was accompanied by the Tau commander's muffled groan. Blood gushed out of the wound, staining the ground red.

“Your technology, your civilization, your pride -” the Captain said as he slashed the Tau commander’s body with his power sword, “ - is but dust before the wrath of the Emperor and Sanguinius.”

Shadowsun's eyes burned with anger, but she couldn't stop it.

Her voice was low and cold: "Human, your atrocities will eventually lead to destruction. We will make you pay the price. The price of blood."

The company commander sneered and suddenly stabbed the power sword into the thigh of the Tau Empire commander. The Tau commander let out a painful roar, but still gritted his teeth and did not beg for mercy.

"cost?"

The captain sneered: "You aliens are not even qualified to be ants under the Emperor's feet. Your commander..." He twisted the power sword hard, and the body of the Tau Empire commander twitched in pain. "He is just an incompetent waste. Even his screams are so ridiculous."

Yingyang clenched her fists so tightly that her nails almost dug into her palms. Her voice was filled with suppressed anger: "You will pay for this, I swear!"

The captain swung his power sword violently, severing one of the Tau commander's arms.

Blood gushed out, and the Tau commander finally let out a shrill scream, but the captain showed no mercy. He raised his foot and stepped hard on the chest of the Tau commander, and the sound of broken ribs was clearly audible.

"This is your end," the Captain said coldly, the tip of the power sword pointed at the throat of the Tau commander, "Be completely crushed and wiped out from the universe."

Shadowsun's face twisted with rage, but she couldn't stop it.

The captain took one last look at the screen, a cruel smile on his face: "Remember this, alien. Remember my name, Hertz, Captain of the 58th Company of the Blood Angels Legion."

With that, he swung his power sword violently, chopping off the head of the Tau commander.

Blood splattered on the captain's armor. He shook the blood off his sword nonchalantly, then turned to face the screen.

"Your fate has already been determined," the company commander sneered, "and your struggle is in vain."

Yingyang's voice was low and cold, as if it came from the abyss: "Human, your arrogance will eventually destroy you. We will make you pay the price, the price of blood."

"So much nonsense."

The captain roared and swung his power sword violently, splitting the screen in half.

Sparks flew, and Yingyang's face disappeared in the broken screen, leaving only the crackling sound of electricity.

A brief silence returned to the command room, with only the breathing of the Space Marines and the low hum of the Terminator armor.

The captain put away his power sword and looked around. After confirming that there were no surviving enemies, he raised his fist and shouted: "For the Emperor! For Sanguinius!"

The soldiers responded in unison, their voices echoing in the command room like thunder.

Their armor was stained with the blood of their enemies, but there was only determination and glory in their eyes.

Inside Yingyang's headquarters, the air seemed to freeze.

The screen went out completely after the captain's final blow. The Tau officers in the command room held their breath, not daring to make any sound, and even breathing became cautious. They had never seen Shadowsun so angry.

Yingyang stood there, his hands clenched into fists, his knuckles turning white from the effort.

Her eyes were fixed on the shattered screen, as if she could still see the bloody scene.

Her subordinate, the commander, was killed by the Space Marines. His head was cut off and blood splattered, but she was powerless to do anything.

This was a provocation to her and to the entire Tau Empire.

"Humanity……"

Yingyang's voice was low and cold, as if it came from the abyss.

Her chest heaved violently, and the anger in her eyes burned, almost turning into substance. Her fingers trembled slightly, not because of fear, but because of the extremely suppressed anger.

"commander……"

An adjutant spoke cautiously, trying to break the suffocating silence.

However, before he could finish his words, Yingyang suddenly turned around and punched the console hard. The metal console dented under her fist, making a harsh sound of metal twisting.

"Let these humans pay the price in blood. The operation begins."
