The Torment Company was a Chaos Space Marine warband first encountered on Maddean IV in M37.

Formerly known as the Brotherhood of Desolation, the Torment Company has been assigned extremely dangerous and undesirable missions since the destruction of their gene-seed vault in M32, such as being stationed on death worlds, space hulks, and quarantine worlds.
Every time they think they've earned themselves a reprieve, they're always sent on more dangerous missions.
Falling into disunity and despair, they eventually converted to Chaos in the acidic swamps of agony, changing their names and becoming the sworn enemies of the Imperium ever since.
