Chapter 997: The Nightmare of the Tau Empire
Sanguinius's spear lightly swept through the air, and an entire Tau Empire combat uniform force was instantly annihilated in Sanguinius's attack.

Tau Empire Fire Warrior Ka'Hir's breathing was rapid and heavy in his combat suit, his finger tightly on the trigger of his pulse rifle. /Through the display screen of the mask, he saw the legendary legion in front of him - the Blood Angels.
Their scarlet armor shone in the sun, as dazzling as blood. Ka'Hil's heartbeat quickened, and he felt a hint of fear.
Suddenly, there was a low roar in the sky, like the flapping of an angel's wings.
Ka'Hill looked up and saw a golden figure descending from the sky, like a god from heaven.
That was Sanguinius, the Primarch of the Blood Angels, his wings spread out, blocking out the sun, and the spear in his hand shone with a holy light.
"For Sanguinius! Attack!" the Blood Angels shouted in unison, their voices shaking the hearts of the people like thunder.
Before Ka'Hir could react, Sanguinius's spear had already cut through the air, sweeping towards him with devastating force.
He watched helplessly as an entire unit of combat uniforms was reduced to ash in an instant, without even a chance to resist.
Ka'Hill's comrades disappeared before his eyes, as if they had never existed.
Fear surged over Ka'Hir's heart, and his fingers trembled so much that he could barely hold the weapon.
He tried to aim at Sanguinius, but the figure was so fast that it seemed as if time had lost its meaning in front of him.
Sanguinius swung his spear again, and Ka'Hir felt a huge force throw him to the ground, the alarm on his battle suit blaring.
He struggled to stand, but Sanguinius was already standing before him.
The pair of golden eyes stared straight at him, as if they could see through his soul. Ka'Hil felt as small as an ant. Facing such an existence, any resistance would be futile.
"Do not……"
"For the Emperor!" Sanguinius' voice was like the sound of nature, yet it carried endless majesty.
He swung his spear lightly, and Ka'Hir's eyes instantly fell into darkness.
The Tau's defences quickly crumbled under the onslaught of the Blood Angels Legion, the wreckage of battlesuit and armoured units littered the battlefield, flames and smoke obscured the sky.
The Blood Angels' Space Marines were like a scarlet wave, ruthlessly sweeping away all enemies that stood in their way.
Their power armor flickered coldly in the firelight, and the roar of chain swords and the roar of grenade launchers intertwined into a melody of death.
Next to the wreckage of Ka'Hir's battlesuit, a Blood Angels shocktrooper was rushing towards a Tau XV8 Crisis Battlesuit at incredible speed.
The pilot of the battlesuit tried to aim his ion cannon, but the Blood Angels were incredibly fast.
The commando's jump pack spewed out blazing flames, instantly propelling him high into the air, and then he smashed into the top of the combat suit like a meteorite.
The teeth of the chainsaw sword spun wildly, and with the harsh sound of metal tearing, the armor of the combat suit was easily cut open, and the driver was torn into pieces before he could even scream.
Not far away, another Blood Angels Terminator warrior was advancing in an unstoppable manner.
His power fist flashed with the light of disintegration, and he punched a Tau Empire Hammerhead Hover Tank.
The heavy armor was like thin paper in front of the Terminator's power. The tank's turret was smashed directly, the ammunition depot inside was detonated, and a huge fireball shot up into the sky.
The Terminator warrior walked out of the flames unharmed and continued to move towards the next target.
The Tau Fire Warriors attempted a counterattack, but their pulse rifles and plasma weapons proved too weak to be countered by the armour of the Blood Angels.
A fire warrior hid behind cover and tremblingly fired at a charging Blood Angel. The pulse energy bullet hit the power armor, splashing only a few sparks.
The Blood Angel didn't even pause as he fired a precise bullet from his bolter, instantly splitting the Fire Warrior's head apart, blood and brain matter splattering all over the bunker.
On the battlefield, the commander of the Tau Empire tried to call for support using the communicator, but his voice was drowned out by the battle cry of the Blood Angels.
"For Sanguinius! For the Emperor!"
The Blood Angels warriors shouted, their voices like thunder, shaking the hearts and minds of the Tau Empire soldiers.
Before the commander could issue new orders, a power sword pierced his chest.
He looked down at the blade, his eyes full of despair and unwillingness, and then his body fell down weakly, becoming another cold corpse on the battlefield.
The Blood Angels' armoured units also joined the fray, raining fire from their Land Raiders and Predator tanks down on the Tau positions.
The T'au's Hammerheads and Manta hover tanks attempted to fight back, but their firepower was dwarfed by the Blood Angels' heavy armour.
A Land Raider's twin laser cannons accurately hit a Manta, instantly overloading the hover tank's energy shield and then directly vaporizing it due to the high temperature of the laser cannon.
On the battlefield, the soldiers of the Tau Empire began to flee, but the Blood Angels warriors would not give them any chance.
Assault bikes and Stormhawk gunships circled in the air, pursuing every enemy that tried to escape.
The soldiers of the Tau Empire fell one after another, their blood dyed the earth red, and the battlefield was filled with the smell of death.
This battle is destined to become a nightmare for the Tau Empire.
The Blood Angels, under the command of Sanguinius, utterly crushed the Tau resistance with unrivalled power and ruthless efficiency.
Tau commander Sha'Oka stood in front of the holographic projection in the command room, his fists clenched, his knuckles white from exertion. His eyes were fixed on the red dots that kept flashing in the projection - that was the signal that his troops were retreating step by step under the fierce attack of the Blood Angels. His breathing was short, his chest was heaving violently, and the rage and powerlessness intertwined, almost making it impossible for him to think.
"These barbaric monsters!" Sha'Oka growled, his voice filled with suppressed anger. "How dare they... How dare they trample on our territory like this! Are our technology and civilization so insignificant in their eyes?!"
His adjutant stood by, pale, trying to remain calm. "Commander, we must evacuate immediately! The Blood Angels are clearly targeting our chain of command. If they find this place--"
"Evacuate?!" Sha'Oka turned around with anger in his eyes. "We are the elite of the Tau Empire! We are the guardians of the Greater Good! We will never run away like cowards!"
Before he finished his words, a deafening roar suddenly came from the ceiling of the command room.
Sha'Oka and his adjutant looked up at the same time, only to see the ceiling being torn apart in an instant, with hot metal fragments flying everywhere.
A huge airdrop capsule smashed through the roof of the command room like a meteorite and fell heavily to the ground.
