Chapter 1159 Resolving Conflicts
Upon entering the Hidden Cloud Village, we were immediately surrounded by a group of ninjas lurking in the shadows. Their eyes were fierce, their weapons clutched tightly, as if they were about to devour us alive. Deidara snorted coldly, his hands quickly forming hand seals. In an instant, the sky was filled with a dense barrage of bombs. Not to be outdone, I summoned a massive wall of fire, forcing the enemy back.
Just as we thought we had the upper hand, the Raikage suddenly appeared before us. His body flashed with dazzling lightning, and his speed was blinding. Before I could react, his fist slammed into my shield, the force of which forced me to stumble back several steps. Seeing this, Deidara quickly detonated a nearby bomb, attempting to distract the Raikage. Seizing this opportunity, I quickly concentrated my chakra, preparing to deliver a fatal blow. Just then, a mysterious figure suddenly rushed out from the side, blocking my attack. Who was he? Why was he helping the Raikage? A more complex battle was about to unfold. The mysterious figure stopped, revealing his face. It was my former senior brother. His eyes were complicated. "Junior brother, you shouldn't have come to Kumogakure to cause trouble." I was shocked and angry. "Senior brother, why did you help them?" My senior brother sighed, "Kumegakure and our sect have an old agreement. We can't just sit back and watch." The Raikage, taking advantage of our conversation, attacked again, and Deidara threw another bomb to stop him. I was utterly anxious, having to deal with the Raikage while simultaneously navigating my senior brother's struggles. He stood in front of the Raikage, urging me to hold off, but I refused. Deidara shouted from the side, "Never mind him, let's deal with the Raikage first!" I gritted my teeth, deciding to put my senior brother aside and focus on the Raikage. Deidara and I coordinated our attacks, launching another attack. My mysterious senior brother hesitated for a moment, not attempting to stop us. The situation became stalemated, and the outcome of the battle became increasingly unpredictable. Just as this stalemate was at hand, the ANBU ninjas of Kumogakure seized the opportunity and swarmed us from all sides, forming a tight encirclement. Their attacks rained down, overwhelming Deidara and me. Seeing this, my senior brother frowned and shouted to the ANBU, "Don't harm my junior brother!" I felt a mixture of emotions. I hadn't expected that, in this chaotic battle, my senior brother would still consider our fellow disciples' friendship.
The Raikage, taking advantage of our distraction by the Anbu, sped towards me, his fist laced with lightning and unbelievable force. I dodged, but was attacked by an Anbu ninja, sending me crashing to the ground. Deidara cried out anxiously, attempting to come to his aid, but was also entangled by a group of ninja. Just as the Raikage's fist was about to strike me, my senior brother suddenly intervened, blocking my path and taking the blow for me. He groaned, a trickle of blood escaping from the corner of his mouth.
Shocked and ashamed, I shouted, "Brother!" He said weakly, "Brother, stop fighting! If we continue, it will end badly for everyone." I looked at my injured brother, my anger gradually subsiding, and I began to ponder the significance of this battle... The Raikage also paused, looking at my brother, a flicker of respect in his eyes. I took a deep breath, slowly stood up, and said to him, "Lord Raikage, we are sorry to offend you by coming here, but we also have our own difficulties." The Raikage snorted coldly, "If you have a reason, why come to our Kumogakure to cause trouble?"
My senior brother stood up with difficulty and pleaded for me: "Lord Raikage, they may not be provoking me intentionally. Can you give us a chance to sit down and talk?" The Raikage was silent for a moment and said: "In view of your loyalty to the master, I can give you a chance to explain."
I glanced at my senior brother with gratitude and began to explain our reason for coming. It turned out we were searching for a treasure that could save our companions' lives, and we heard it was near the Hidden Cloud Village. The Raikage's expression softened slightly after hearing this. "If that's the case, you shouldn't have barged in without warning. If you explain clearly, I'm not inconsiderate."
