Chapter 8 Return to New York

Soon, the person contacted by Happy drove an armored vehicle to the rendezvous point and took Chen Ye and his group to the Afghan airport.

At the airport, Ethan turned around and walked up to Chen Ye and his group, held Chen Ye's hands and thanked him, "Thank you for saving me, even though this was not your intention."

"We have become friends, isn't it natural to save friends?" Chen Ye said with a smile.

"Dr. Ethan, do you want to go back with us?" Chen Ye asked.

"Ethan has already rejected me. He wants to go back to his hometown to see his children." Tony spoke first.

Chen Ye did not say anything, because he knew that Ethan's family had actually been killed by the militants. He said this before just to give Tony Stark hope of survival.

"Tony, actually I lied to you. My family has died a long time ago, at the hands of those militants. I lied to you before. Now, actually I don’t know where to go." Dr. Ethan said with lifeless eyes.

Chen Ye saw that his face was not very good, patted his shoulder and said tentatively: "I plan to open a community school in Hell's Kitchen, and you can be our science and chemistry teacher. I have an apartment in Hell's Kitchen, which provides food and accommodation, five insurances and one fund. What do you think?"

"Ethan, don't listen to him. When you go back, come to my Stark Group. I will prepare a laboratory for you in the Stark Building. You can study whatever you want in the future. Your talent should not be wasted in a mere community school." Stark interrupted.

The plane took off quickly and flew towards New York's Kennedy Airport.

On the plane, Pietro put on his headphones and prepared to rest, while the dog Deadpool was eating the meal prepared by the stewardess. Of course, Deadpool was also teasing the stewardess while eating. Dr. Ethan was chatting with Happy.

Chen Ye sat in his chair, shaking his red wine glass, which was full of 82 Coke, and looked at Tony Stark opposite him.

Tony Stark was no longer dressed in the shabby clothes he wore in the cave. He was wearing a suit and eating Western food. His temperament reminded people of his identity as a playboy.

Chen Ye couldn't help but sigh: "Clothes really make the man."

Tony Stark looked at Deadpool Dog with interest and said.

A few hours later, the plane slowly landed at New York's Kennedy Airport.

There were four vehicles parked next to the runway, two Rolls-Royces, a military armored vehicle and a medical ambulance.

Pepper Potts was anxiously watching the plane that was about to land. Beside her was a team of soldiers led by Colonel Rhodes, and medical staff were standing by with a stretcher.

Everyone is here to take Tony Stark home.

The cabin door slowly opened, and Pepper Potts saw Tony Stark walking out of the cabin door with red eyes.

Tony Stark was the first to walk out of the plane door. Seeing the stretcher pushed in by the medical staff, he waved his hand and said, "I'm fine. I can still walk and jump. I don't need this. Please leave."

Looking at Tony Stark who was slowly walking towards her, Pepper Potts cried with joy and covered her mouth.

Tony Stark walked up and hugged Pepper.

Pepper Potts smiled and said, "These are happy tears. You know, good jobs are hard to find."

Just as Tony Stark and his girlfriend were hugging each other passionately, a whistle interrupted their ambiguous atmosphere.

It was Chen Ye and his group who were standing at the cabin door, and the one whistling was none other than Deadpool who was eating melons nearby.

Chen Ye turned around dissatisfiedly and stared at Deadpool with a death stare. Chen Ye didn't come out immediately because he wanted to give Tony Stark some time and eat some melons. Who knew that he would be interrupted by Deadpool in front of him again.

Pepper quickly let go of Tony Stark's embrace. She stepped forward and thanked him, "Mr. Chen, thank you for bringing Tony back safely. I will pay the balance later."

Tony Stark on the side immediately said: "Remember to put the money into the company's account. I will reimburse you."

"Of course I don't have that much money." Pepper Potts rolled her eyes.

"It's a small matter. Remember not to forget the bet. You can come to Hell's Kitchen to find me next time if you need me." Chen Ye said indifferently.

"It looks like you have something else to do, so I won't bother you for now, Mr. Stark. I will inform you as soon as I have news about what you asked me to do." Seeing Rhodes representing the military standing aside, Chen Ye said tactfully.

Chen Ye knew that the next Iron Man armor would appear in the Marvel Universe, which also marked the official start of the Marvel event!

"By the way, be careful of your new secretary." Chen Ye reminded before leaving.
