Chapter 36 The Gradually Converging Plot Connections

Nick Fury stands in his secret research site, looking at the mysterious energy cube placed on the table - the Cosmic Cube. He realizes the potential of this Cosmic Cube and wants to master its power to protect the earth from threats. However, his decision is questioned by Dr. Eric Selvig.

"Oh no, the energy of the Cosmic Cube continues to rise and it's out of control." Eric Seviger said.

The Cosmic Cube burst into a bright light, ripples spread out, and all the objects on the table flew out and fell to the ground.

"Hey. Are you all okay?" Nick Fury asked loudly.

"It's okay." Eric Selvig stood up slowly.

At this moment, another strong energy wave suddenly burst out from the gem. A strong light flashed, and Loki appeared in front of Nick Fury. He was wearing gorgeous Asgard armor and looked imposing.

Loki looked at Nick Fury coldly and said sarcastically, "Midgardian, you have always liked to master power, right? It seems that you are also very tempted by this gem."

Nick Fury's face darkened. He was startled by the unexpected visitor and asked, "Who are you?" while raising his arm slightly.

On the other side, Loki, who was leaving, waved his scepter at a certain place, and then the controlled agent raised his weapon and pointed it at a place where there was no human figure.

"Do you think your tricks can hide you from the Gods?" Loki looked at that place with disdain. "You are such a coward, you have revealed your lowly face in front of the Gods."

"Loki, you can call yourself a god just because of what you have?" An evil voice sounded. "If I wasn't afraid of the Sanctuary's discovery, however." The man in the black wizard robe and mask waved his hands. A wormhole opened on each side. Two dark octopuses attacked Loki.

Loki's face instantly darkened: "Dark magic? Are you here to steal the Infinity Stones too?" At the same time, he waved the Mind Scepter, and the agents raised their weapons and started shooting.

Bullets were fired at the octopus, which roared in pain, but its dark energy wrapped around it and resisted the attacks of the agents. Loki calmly thought about the countermeasures, and he knew that this battle should not be underestimated.

Loki used his magical skills to release a powerful energy wave, which knocked one of the octopuses back. However, the other octopus was still bothering him. Loki quickly dodged and released a lightning ball from his scepter, which blew off one of the octopus' tentacles.

The man in the black wizard robe sneered, "Loki, you are still as self-righteous as ever. But you will never be able to match the power of black magic."

"Who are you?" Loki was very confused. The guy in front of him seemed to know him, but he had no memory of him at all.

"It doesn't matter who I am. Do you desire power?" said the mysterious man.

Loki sneered, "Dark magic or the power of God are just tools to me. And I am the ruler of chaos and order."

As soon as he finished speaking, Loki released a powerful energy wave, which pushed back the man in the black wizard robe. He used the scepter to control the agents and let them continue to attack the octopus.

Under the siege of the agents, the octopus gradually weakened and was finally completely defeated. Loki looked at the retreating mysterious man and said coldly: "Black magic is not your real power after all, and you are just a tool of temptation."

"You will come to see me again." The mysterious man smiled slightly and then disappeared.
