Chapter 472 Vulture's Trap

Adrian Toomes drove the Vulture Armor back to a hidden location in the city - a studio hidden deep in the underground pipeline system. Although on the surface it was no different from an abandoned sewer entrance, the interior had been carefully renovated and looked extremely modern and technological. The leading technician was named Matt Ross, a top scientist recruited by Adrian from a company specializing in genetic engineering research. He wore thick glasses, had a serious face, held a data board in his hand, and stared at the analytical data on the screen.

"Mr. Toomes," Matt walked up to Adrian and looked through the combat data of Peter and Ned. His tone was calm and professional. "Although we didn't get their blood samples, we have analyzed some of their abilities based on these combat data. Especially the young man, Ned Leeds. His physical characteristics show that he has recently undergone some kind of high-level genetic modification."

Adrian nodded and said in a deep voice: "Continue to analyze this data. I need a more detailed report, especially about Ned's genetic modification. His strength, reaction speed, and even recovery ability interest me." His tone was cold and his eyes flashed with ambition.

At the other end of the studio, two technicians were operating a complex genetic analysis device, responsible for inputting the combat data that Adrian brought back from the scene into the machine. They were from Hammer Industries, had worked on military technology projects, and were now focused on developing the most advanced combat equipment and biological weapons for Adrian. The machine made a low humming sound, and a motion analysis chart of Peter and Ned appeared on the screen, with the data scrolling continuously, showing every detail of their battle.

"Ned Leeds' reaction speed is abnormally fast," another technician named Lucy reported in a low voice while analyzing the data, "According to our speculation, his nervous system may have been greatly enhanced through some form of genetic modification, which allows his body to react to combat in a very short time."

Lucy was a researcher at Roxon Corporation, specializing in the development of biological enhancement technology. Now she is in charge of all genetic research projects in Adrian's hands. She tapped the charts on the screen with her fingers, constantly taking notes, and her eyes revealed a strong interest in this genetic technology.

Adrian slowly walked to the center of the studio, where several rows of transparent gene storage tubes were displayed. The tubes contained samples he had collected from various targets. These gene samples were obtained from his past experiments on superpowers, mutants, and even some super soldiers. The liquids in these storage tubes were of different colors, containing different genetic characteristics and powers.

He scanned the samples, his greed gradually showing. Although he did not directly obtain Peter and Ned's blood, the battle data combined with the existing gene samples were enough for him to conduct further research and experiments.

"Ned's genetic modification obviously goes beyond the conventional ability enhancement." Adrian whispered, his eyes became cold and cunning, "The potential hidden in him may be much greater than we imagined."

"If we can obtain Ned's complete genetic sample, perhaps we can combine his power with other genes to create an even more powerful combat unit." Matt said thoughtfully, a calculating gleam in his eyes.

The whole studio was shrouded in a tense atmosphere. The technicians were busy in silence, while Adrian stood in the center with cold eyes, as if he had already seen the future and he had endless power in his hands.

Just as Adrian Toomes looked up from his workbench and before he could fully immerse himself in his future plans, an assistant hurried in with a look of obvious nervousness on his face. "Mr. Toomes, Mr. Elias is here, and he's waiting for you outside." The assistant's voice was low and a little nervous.

"Elias?" Adrian frowned slightly, his eyes instantly becoming alert. He knew what this name meant. Elias, known as the "Black Glove", was his financial backer and the mysterious figure who quietly provided financial support for many of his plans. This man was low-key, and no one really knew his origins or purpose, but the wealth and resources in his hands were almost endless, enough to support any crazy plan.

Adrian stood up straight, adjusted his armor, and then nodded slightly: "Let him in."

After a few seconds, the door slowly slid open, and a tall and thin figure walked in. Elias was wearing a perfectly tailored black suit and his signature black leather gloves, as if he was the embodiment of some invisible power. His face was shrouded in shadow, and only his cold and sharp eyes could be vaguely seen. He had no extra expression, and his steps were steady, with every step carrying a majesty that could not be ignored.

"Adrian," Elias' voice was low and magnetic, with a hint of unquestionable coldness, "I heard that your recent progress is quite good."

Adrian nodded slightly, his tone neither humble nor arrogant: "Indeed, we have already obtained the combat data of some superpowers, especially Ned Leeds and Spider-Man... The research on genetic modification technology has also entered a new stage."

Elias smiled slightly, but that smile did not make the atmosphere in the room more relaxed. Instead, it made the atmosphere more solemn. Adrian felt a chill run down his spine. Although he remained calm on the surface, he knew Elias never made useless threats. "Understood, I will make sure this plan goes through. No matter the cost."

Elias chuckled and turned to leave. He stopped at the door and said, "Remember, Adrian, we are not playing a game. This is a power struggle. The winner controls everything."

As soon as he finished speaking, Elias disappeared behind the door, leaving Adrian standing there, thinking for a moment, then clenched his fists, with a determined light flashing in his eyes.

"I know what to do..." Adrian whispered to himself, as if he had made some kind of decision.

The assistant came forward silently and asked cautiously, "What should we do next, sir?"

Adrian stood in front of the workbench, staring at the genetic sample in his hand, his mind racing. Elias's warning did make him feel pressured, but he was not without a way out. He had to act faster to ensure the success of the plan. However, in the intelligence provided by Elias before, Adrian accidentally learned a crucial piece of information - Peter Parker and Ned Leeds were actually classmates of his daughter.

"This is an interesting coincidence..." Adrian's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a sneer. As a father, he knew his daughter's social circle very well, and he was also aware of her affection for Peter.
