Chapter 7 Functions of the Base

I tried to train a farmer, but was told that I didn't have enough gold.

Jialin remembered that the warehouse-like room next door should be used to store resources, so he went to the warehouse, took out a bag of gold coins from the spiritual pattern cloth bag and put it on the shelf.

I looked at the resources needed for the barracks: 1600 units of gold, 600 units of wood. Gold can be recharged, but wood can only be collected by farmers.

There is no danger in this area except for the trolls, so the barracks can be used for a while. I looked at the data in the resource column: gold, wood 60. It just so happens that the sawmill does not need wood, so a sawmill can be built now. Garin chose to deploy a sawmill near the forest so that farmers don't have to spend time transporting trees back to the town hall after cutting them.

After giving Cliff the order to build a logging camp, Garin couldn't wait here any longer. Garin didn't want the base to be exposed in advance.

Running all the way to the camp, Garin discovered that the remote connection command that Cliff mentioned was actually relying on the light ball in his mind. According to the map scanned from the base in his mind, Garin carefully avoided several groups of velociraptors and slowed down when approaching the camp.

With a sigh of relief, Garin carefully disposed of the soundproofing array that he had previously placed on Omar and Varokal's tents, then lay down with peace of mind.

After working all night and running back and forth for dozens of kilometers, Jialin still didn't feel sleepy at all. Through the light ball in his mind, he connected to the picture of the base and found that there were 30 more units of wood.

It took him about an hour to get back to the camp from the base. Cliff was building a barracks, and the remaining three farmers were cutting down trees. The three people collected 30 units of wood in three hours, so the collection speed should be 10 units per person per hour.

Garin guessed that after the sawmill was built, it should be possible to research technology through the sawmill to speed up the speed at which farmers collect resources. He wondered how much it could increase after the research.

The hall provides twelve units of food. One farmer needs one unit of food. There are five farmers now, and seven more farmers can be trained. It will take seven hours to fill the twelve quotas.
