Chapter 220 This World is Full of Threats

Jack immediately grabbed his weapon alertly, ready to attack, but the scientist seemed to have extraordinary strength and speed, and easily dodged his attack.

"You can't escape," the scientist said with a sneer, "I will be the creator of a new world, and you will be my experiments."

Four survivors stood in the underground laboratory, confronting the mad scientist. Jack clenched his weapon, his eyes locked on the scientist, anger burning in his heart.

However, the scientist just laughed wildly and ignored Su Chen's words. He suddenly threw a bottle filled with green liquid at the four people. After the bottle broke, the liquid quickly spread and released a pungent smell.

"What is this?" Irene asked in surprise.

"This is a poison gas that will make you unconscious and then become my experimental subjects." said the scientist proudly.

The four of them quickly covered their mouths and noses to try to avoid inhaling the poisonous gas. They could only walk to the corner of the room to stay away from the spreading poisonous fog. In a desperate moment, Jack noticed a small door on the wall, and he guessed that it might be an escape passage leading to the outside world.

"We have to get out of here and find new shelter," Jack gasped.

Su Chen agreed: "But first, we have to get rid of this lunatic."

The four decided to create a distraction, trying to divert the scientist's attention. They kept moving and making noise, trying to disrupt the scientist's plan. The scientist became more and more frantic, throwing gas bottles, but the four dodged flexibly.

Finally, when the scientist threw the bottle, his footsteps missed and he fell to the ground. The four saw the opportunity and quickly rushed to the small door leading to the outside world, opened it, and escaped from the underground laboratory.

After they climbed to the ground, they found that the outside world had become more desolate and dangerous. Food was scarce, so they had to go out to look for it. In the ruins, they found an abandoned grocery store. Although the shelves were almost empty, they still found some canned food and dry food.

After resting for a while in the ruins, the four decided to continue their exploration. They knew that time was running out, the poisonous mad scientist was still behind them, and food was still scarce.

They walked through a street covered with weeds and passed a building that was burned by fire. Suddenly, a whispering sound came into their ears. They stopped immediately and looked around vigilantly.

During one of their expeditions, they discovered an abandoned warehouse filled with dry food and medicine, a real treasure trove. They excitedly collected these resources, knowing that they would help them survive in this apocalyptic world.

The aircraft was getting closer and closer, and a sound came from it. Su Chen, Alice, Jack, Irene and Ellie all raised their weapons nervously, ready to meet possible threats. However, the aircraft did not attack them, but slowly landed on an open area nearby.

The door of the aircraft opened, and several fully armed soldiers came out. They were wearing unfamiliar uniforms, and the badges and emblems on their bodies confused Su Chen and others.

A tall soldier walked to the front, his face serious and firm. The language he spoke was completely incomprehensible to Su Chen and others, but they noticed that the soldier was holding a tattered map with a supermarket logo on it.
