Chapter 388 Conversation with Tony
On the top floor of the Stark Building, the afterglow of the setting sun shines through the spacious and bright floor-to-ceiling windows, dyeing the luxurious room golden. The golden light and the modern decoration complement each other, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and solemn.
Tony and Noah were sitting on the sofa next to the wine counter. Tony had handed the tablet in his hand to Noah, and then put down the wine glass in his other hand.
"What would you like to drink?" Tony asked. As he spoke, he took out a new glass from the cupboard next to him and prepared to pour wine for Noah.
"No, I don't drink." Noah waved his hand and turned his attention to the tablet.
Seeing this, Tony didn't force it. He put the wine glass back in its place, then sat back on the sofa, waiting for Noah's reaction.
"I've known about this house for a long time, Tony." After Noah took the tablet from Tony, he saw something familiar.
"I already knew about this house, Tony." Noah took the tablet from Tony and saw the familiar overhead photo of the room. He clearly remembered that the scene he saw from the sky after being teleported this morning was exactly the same as the photo.
Then, Noah swiped to the next page and saw new information and photos. Noah looked around and found that the SHIELD agents had tried to activate the room's defenses. It seemed that after he left, they also discovered the Eternal technology hidden in this house.
These materials record the mission information summarized by the SHIELD agents who went to Fastos's house.
"Tony, the reason why I came to see you today is also related to this." Noah swiped a few times and read all the information, and then found that there was no important information in the following information.
Noah handed the tablet back, and Tony reached out to take it. Tony had a habit of not accepting things handed over by others, but this habit was only for strangers. If it was a familiar friend, Tony would not have such concerns.
"Related to these alien technologies? Could this house be built by those new aliens you mentioned?" Tony raised his eyebrows slightly, revealing a surprised expression.
Noah nodded and replied, "Yes, this house is indeed related to those new aliens. However, I didn't come to you today to discuss this house in depth."
Tony's curiosity was aroused, and he asked, "Why is that? What else have you discovered?"
"I got a device from those aliens. Dr. Banner and I were analyzing this equipment just now, and now I want to invite you to join us." Noah said with a smile after seeing Tony's performance.
Tony's eyes lit up immediately. He had always been very interested in alien technology. He stood up and said excitedly, "What are we waiting for? Let's go over there!"
However, after being excited for a few seconds, Tony suddenly reacted.
"Wait, you said you have come into contact with those aliens?" Tony suddenly realized the key information from Noah's previous words. It seems that Noah has had some interactions with these new aliens?
"I have come into contact with it, so what?" Noah said calmly.
"So what do they look like? Are they as ugly as the Chitauri? Or are they those little gray-skinned monsters with big heads and small bodies in the movies? Do they have tentacles?" Various images of aliens immediately emerged in Tony's mind, and he asked excitedly.
"Neither. They look quite similar to humans, with just some subtle differences." Noah was amused by Tony's question and shook his head.
"Looks like a human? Isn't this too weird?" Tony said with wide eyes.
If Noah said that these aliens had three heads and six arms, and were covered with tentacles, Tony would not find it strange, but would just find it curious. But if Noah said that some aliens looked very similar to humans, then Tony would find it very strange. After all, the universe is so big, containing countless galaxies and planets, and the forms and characteristics of life should vary greatly.
And they just happen to look like humans, is this really a coincidence? Or are the aliens Noah saw just simulating human form?
In response to Tony's question, Noah had only one response.
"If you want to see those aliens, I can take you to see them later." Noah said after standing up from the sofa.
Tony's eyes lit up. He also wanted to see what these aliens who stood like humans were like.
"However, now let's go somewhere to deal with the problem with the equipment I just mentioned." Noah continued, bringing the topic back to the point.
Tony nodded. He was also quite interested in this alien device.
Then, Noah stretched his hand to the side, and deep blue magic flowed out from his fingertips. This blue magic slowly spread in the air and gradually turned into a blue portal.
"Every time I see you use these magics, I feel it's amazing. I feel like I've learned science for so many years in vain." Tony said after looking at the portal that appeared out of thin air, "Noah, when will you take me to see Kamar-Taj that you mentioned before?"
"Science and magic are not in conflict, they are just different ways of exploring the world. As for Kamar-Taj, I'll take a look after I've dealt with recent issues." After Noah finished speaking, he called Tony and walked into the portal first.
"Okay." Tony responded, but he didn't rush into the portal. Instead, he went to the floor-standing clothes rack in the room and picked up his suit. He was still wearing a casual white shirt and a pair of sports trousers.
"By the way, Jarvis, if Pepper comes to see me later, remember to tell her that I went to a friend's house." Tony said as he put on his clothes.
"Yes, sir," Jarvis replied.
"Sir, do you need a battle suit prepared for you?" Jarvis spoke again as Tony was sorting out his clothes.
"Battle suit?" Tony thought for a while, and then felt that there shouldn't be any place where the armor would be needed there. If there was any dangerous situation, Noah could easily solve it, right?
"No need, I'm fine with what I'm wearing now." Tony clapped his hands, then picked up his cell phone and walked into the portal.
The portal disappeared automatically after Tony entered, and the room became empty and silent again.
After Tony crossed the portal, he came to a new place. Tony looked back and saw that the portal he came from had gradually become smaller and turned into a blue dot that disappeared into the air.
"Tony, you're here?" When Tony turned around, he heard a familiar voice sounding in his ears.
