Chapter 827: Understanding of Ornn
Noah explained to Lissandra and Gwen what had just happened. Noah had already put the incident of being seen while locked up behind his back.
"New power?"
"Well, I think you, Lissandra, should be very familiar with this power, but I don't know if you, Gwen, are aware of this existence." Noah said. Although Lissandra is not the Frost Witch Lissandra from the main world of Runeterra, after Noah summoned the hero template of the Frost Witch, Lissandra also obtained the power and memory of Lissandra from the main universe, so she should be very familiar with Ornn's affairs.
As for Gwen, Noah was not sure whether she knew about the Freljord demigod Ornn. After all, according to Gwen's experience, it was not a particularly long time for her to grow from a baby to a human in Runeterra. Perhaps she has not had time to explore the history of Runeterra, so it is normal that she does not know about Ornn.
"What? Tell me!" Gwen asked curiously. Although the blush on her face had not yet faded, her previous shyness had been suppressed by curiosity. She looked up and blinked at Noah, curious about what he was talking about.
Noah smiled and then raised his arms.
"Whoosh--" A ball of red hot flame rose from Noah's arm, leaping on his arm, making crackling sounds, and the air around him suddenly felt much hotter.
"This is the flame of Ornn, the Mountain Shadow Flame, the demigod of Freljord. The power I gained this time came from Ornn's divine power."
"Ornn..." Lissandra's eyes flickered a few times. Before, because of Noah, she obtained the memories of Lissandra in the main universe, but she did not accept that huge memory directly. Instead, she separated them from her own memories and sealed them in a database in her mind. For an intelligent life, it is not difficult to perform this operation.
Lissandra would often observe these memories. While learning the other party's magic skills, Lissandra was also very interested in her parallel universe counterpart. In the other party's memory, the demigod Ornn was a presence that left a deep impression on her. The Frost Witch Lissandra and her sisters all received a lot of help from Ornn.
"Oh! Ornn!? I've heard of his legend." When Gwen heard the name Noah said, her eyes lit up slightly and she raised her hand high and said.
"Oh? Gwen knows the story of Ornn? Have you been to Freljord?" Noah was also a little curious. He only knew a general idea of Gwen's background story from the official background description. There was no record of where Gwen had been. It only talked about her origin as a doll and her later defeat of Viego.
"Yeah, when the Sentinels and I were heading to Freljord to investigate Viego's conspiracy, I heard Mr. Beasthide, oh, it was Olaf who talked about Ornn." Gwen nodded, and then recalled her experiences in Runeterra.
The Sentinels refer to the Sentinels of Light, an organization that has continued from ancient times to the present day. An organization that exists for the purpose of fighting against the Black Mist, that is, the Curse of Ruin. Only by using the Sentinel equipment in the Sentinels of Light can one have the ability to attack and fight against the Curse of Ruin. So when the Scourge of Ruin spread across Runeterra, Lucian and Senna began to explore various continents and invite heroes who had not yet been controlled by the Curse of Ruin to join the Sentinels of Light to fight against Viego together.
When Gwen turned into a human, her first goal was to fight against Viego, so she joined the Sentinels of Light and traveled with them across the continents. However, Gwen did not need the weapons of the Sentinels of Light, because her own strength and the scissors in her hands were capable of fighting against the Ruined Black Mist. After all, the Holy Grace she used was actually the other side of the Black Mist.
It was during this journey that Gwen followed the Sentinels to Freljord and saw the scenery there.
"I remember that was the first time I saw snow, and I felt like my nose had lost all feeling at the time. Later I realized that I was frozen, hehe~" Gwen couldn't help but smile as she recalled the scene.
After all, that period of time was when Gwen had just become a human being. She had just arrived in this world not long ago, and everything was new and unknown to her. So she was very happy during that time and was able to see new things all the time.
"Olaf?" Noah didn't expect that Gwen had such an experience. He seemed to have never discussed her past in Rune Continent with Gwen. If he had time later, he could discuss it with Gwen.
"So Noah, do you have all of Ornn's power now?" Lissandra asked at this time. Ornn's power is extremely strong. Although Lissandra in the main universe does not know what kind of power the pinnacle of demigod has, they have also witnessed Ornn's miracles. The bottomless Howling Abyss was easily dug out by Ornn.
Mortals had no idea how long it would take to dig, perhaps even hundreds of years to accomplish this feat. In Lissandra's memory, they only heard a loud rumbling sound, and then when the smoke and dust cleared, a deep, astonishingly long abyss crack appeared in front of them.
"Well, I have mastered Ornn's divine power, including his forging memory." Noah lowered his head slightly and shook it, and then two pairs of huge argali horns suddenly grew on the back of his head.
When Gwen saw this, her eyes immediately lit up. She ran to Noah excitedly and looked at the big horns on Noah's head curiously.
Of course, Noah did not stop Gwen from trying to pull at his horns. He just dispersed the flames on his arm to prevent the power of the first fire from burning Gwen. Then, Noah stretched out his hand and the hammer called Hammer appeared in Noah's hand.
Speaking of Ornn's hammer, in Runeterra, in addition to being the exclusive hammer of Ornn, the god of forging, it actually has other meanings.
It is the first hammer in Rune Continent. When Ornn forged this hammer with his bare hands, there was actually no concept of "hammer" in Rune Continent. Later, Ornn named it hammer, so Rune Continent had the hammer afterwards. So it is not an exaggeration to say that this is the ancestor of all hammers.
Of course, he is the hammer ancestor of Rune Continent. The hammer in the Marvel Universe naturally has its own origin. When Noah summoned the hammer into his hand, he looked at Gwen.
