Chapter 29 Long Journey
The storm seemed to come alive and surrounded him, with howling winds, heavy rain, and lightning and thunder interweaving together.
His chakra was almost exhausted, and he desperately tried to grab anything he could use to force earth attribute chakra into his body.
He felt a different kind of power beginning to flow in his body. The trees under his feet and the branches in his hands were trembling slightly. The powerful force flowed along his meridians and surged to his limbs and bones, bringing him infinite strength.
The feeling was the same as when he had first summoned the power of the Kyuubi, but now it was even more intense, as if an invisible energy had transformed his bones from granite to steel.
When the power subsided, he called upon chakra again, this time water attribute chakra.
Time seemed to stand still, the rain stayed on his skin, temporarily shielding him from the downpour, at the same time, water attribute chakra flowed through his body, providing him with energy.
He could feel his blood coursing through his veins, as if it were singing joyfully.
Next, he summoned fire chakra. He could feel a burning pain in his throat. When he breathed, white light flashed in front of his eyes. Only then did he realize that he was breathing fire.
When the power of the fire attribute chakra faded, he summoned the wind attribute chakra again.
He felt as if the strong wind around him was summoned, swirling under his feet, pushing him forward and allowing him to easily cross distances that would normally be difficult to cross.
He saved the lightning chakra for last. It was his strongest attribute and the easiest to control of all the attributes.
It burned like fire on his skin and flowed through his veins with such force that it even dispelled some of the corrupting chakra, allowing him to breathe freely once again.
The pain from the electric current replaced the previous pain. The moment it touched his skin, the rain instantly turned into steam, leaving behind charred traces, and his breath was filled with the smell of thunder and lightning.
The dark clouds in the sky did not dissipate, and the rain did not stop.
He didn't stop until he noticed that the trees around him were beginning to thin out and the rain had changed from a cold slanting rain to warmer drops.
The rain gradually subsided, turning into a drizzle, and then the clouds dispersed, and the sun shone through the gaps in the clouds, dyeing the earth red and gold like stained glass.
The sun has risen.
The colorful light falls among the woods, is reflected in the clear stream, and covers the steep cliffs with a veil. At the end of the cliffs is the endless sea.

He landed on a patch of soft grass.

At the moment he turned around, he felt the wind change direction, the original sea breeze became softer, gently brushing his cheek, as if greeting him. He turned his head, but the feeling quickly disappeared.

He headed north, toward the rising sun, the sea breeze ruffling his hair.
Dense forests gave way to steep valleys where fast-flowing rivers scoured the rocks, marking the border of the Fire Nation.
Along the way, he saw almost no human habitation, only occasionally seeing some abandoned villages in the dense woods or in the valleys beside the river.
These villages are small and simple, with only a few dilapidated wooden houses surrounded by weeds and vines.
He had a feeling that no one had been here for a long time.
In the late afternoon he came to one of the villages.
The village is located in a secluded bay, surrounded by mountains and water.
He stood on a protruding rock, overlooking rows of dilapidated houses, the dark brown moss forming a sharp contrast with the sparkling sea in the distance.
This looks like a fishing village, or maybe a port - the pier extending out to the sea is dilapidated.
He moved so lightly, so confidently, as he descended the steep hillside, through the eerie ruins.
He himself did not realize that his movements had become so graceful and skillful that he easily jumped over rock after rock, and when the slope became steeper, his chakra would appear in time to help him keep his balance.
In this dangerous environment, his chakra is ready to obey his orders at any time.
He stopped in front of a large building, a warehouse with most of the roof collapsed.
The ruins are littered with sharp stones and rubble, but the power of nature has gradually covered them, and everything here will return to nature.
He walked carefully on the dilapidated dock, taking every step with extreme caution, fearing that the wooden boards would not be able to bear his weight.
For a bunch of wooden planks suspended in the water, the dock was structurally sound, but Kakashi felt like something was missing. He walked to the edge of the dock and looked down at the clear water.
