Chapter 37 Ye Yu
The heavy rains over the past few days have been heavy and stuffy, making people feel very depressed.
Sasuke looked out the window, watching the rain pouring down as the thick, dark clouds blocked out the sky, looking like they would never go away.

The alarm clock showed that it should be dawn, but thick clouds blocked the sunlight, shrouding the whole world in darkness.
Sasuke scratched his hair irritably, his heart filled with annoyance.
He was tired of this house-bound life.
These days, he has been training in the comprehensive training ground, but everything there always reminds him of those painful memories, his father and brother, and those past events that he could not bear to recall.
The garden outside the training ground was where his mother often took care of her when she was alive. Every blade of grass and every tree there was filled with his mother's scent, which made it even more difficult for him to face it.
Just when Sasuke was about to give up the idea of going out and continue to immerse himself in painful memories, his sharp eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of something strange flashing outside the window.
A figure appeared on the originally empty street. It was a tall, thin, white-haired man wearing a crooked forehead protector. He walked alone on the rain-flooded street with a calm pace, as if the rainstorm did not exist at all.
Sasuke tried to find a symbol of his identity from him, but found nothing.
The man was wearing an ordinary black sleeveless top, a strange mask on his face that covered his nose, and ordinary ninja pants.
Apart from a cloth band around his arm and a pair of thick long gloves on his hands, he wore no extra decorations, no bulletproof vest, and no cape to protect him from the rain.

"Mr. Uchiha, where are you going in such heavy rain?" the man asked, his voice low and calm, no emotion visible in his silver eyes.
Sasuke wasn't surprised, most people in the village knew his story and recognized what he looked like, so it wasn't surprising.
What surprised him was that the man looked at him with neither sympathy nor curiosity, but rather a terrifyingly calm look, as if he was just a stranger, an insignificant passerby.
"I can ask you the same question." Sasuke said stiffly, but the man didn't seem to care about his rudeness and just looked at him calmly.
Sasuke thought that this man should only be a Chunin. If he was a powerful Jonin, he would definitely teach him a lesson.
The man pondered for a moment and whispered:
"I'm sorry, I have to go out for some personal matters. I hope you can understand."
The man's answer surprised Sasuke, he didn't treat him like a child, but spoke to him as an equal, like an adult.
"Then you should understand me if I choose not to answer your question," Sasuke said with a hint of sarcasm, trying to hide his surprise.
The man still didn't get angry, he just nodded to show his understanding. "You're right," he said softly, then turned around and prepared to leave, "After all, everyone has their own knots."
Sasuke never expected to hear such words from a ninja, which made him even more confused.
"what do you mean?"
The man did not stop, but shrugged casually and said lightly:
"It means whatever you want it to mean, Uchiha-san."
These meaningful words cast a shadow over Sasuke's heart. He felt as if his inner heart was seen through by this man and was exposed to him without reservation.
"Wait!" Sasuke couldn't help but shout.
He was not sure what prompted him to say this, perhaps it was because he saw a trace of familiar pain in the man's eyes, a kind of loneliness and sadness after experiencing vicissitudes of life, which made him want to get closer and want to understand.
The man stopped and turned around. This time, Sasuke finally saw clearly that deep in those silver eyes, there was a hint of unspeakable pain.
"What do you know? About the heart knot?" Sasuke asked.
The man lowered his head and thought for a moment, then said slowly:
"I know that the emergence of inner demons has nothing to do with the deceased, but is related to the obsession of the living."
These words were like enlightenment, and Sasuke felt like he was hit hard in the heart.
He never thought that there would be someone who understood his feelings, or someone who had experienced similar pain as him, let alone this stranger in front of him who he had never met before.

The man looked at him calmly, then turned sideways and extended an invitation to him.

Sasuke followed the mysterious ninja through the third area of the training ground, passing through woods and grassy areas until they came to an open space on higher ground.
In the center of the open space, stood a black stone tablet.
It was a monument, a monument built for the ninjas who died in Konoha Village, or more precisely, for those ninjas whose bodies were left.
Sasuke had never looked closely at the stone tablet before.
The Uchiha clan all have their own cemetery, so he had never thought of coming here before.

The surface of the monument was as smooth as a mirror, and it was densely engraved with names. Sasuke didn't know which name the man's eyes rested on, and for some reason, he didn't want to know the answer.

"You come here often." Sasuke finally couldn't help but ask, with a hint of question in his tone, but he tried his best to make his tone not sound too aggressive.
