Chapter 142 True Courage
Hearing this spell like the cry of a night owl, and the ominous green light flickering deep in the forbidden forest.
The two Aurors' faces suddenly changed. Tom wanted to rush over with the oil lamp, but Jonathan on the side tried his best to hold him back.
"Have you ever had your head stepped on by a troll? That's an Unforgivable Curse. This must not be an ordinary dark wizard."
"You dare to use the Killing Curse in Hogwarts. This situation is no longer something you and I can handle. Send a signal immediately."
"Send the alert to Hogwarts and request Dumbledore's assistance."
"Let go right now!" Tom struggled hard to break free from the other party's pull, roaring with a red face.
"Your head has just been stepped on by a troll. If you send a signal now, how can you catch the dark wizard?"
"Even if Dumbledore arrived in time, it would be a shame to let such a dangerous dark wizard who uses the Killing Curse roam around Hogwarts."

Looking at the humanoid creature in front of him who looked like a resurrected mummy, Jonathan felt a little timid, and his right hand holding the wand was shaking slightly.
Tom was not at all timid. He stepped forward, showed his Auror identification, and spoke loudly.
"We are Aurors from the Ministry of Magic. You are suspected of illegally using the Unforgivable Curses and killing precious magical creatures without reason."
"You are now formally arrested. Drop your wand and squat down with your hands on your head immediately, otherwise we will take coercive measures."
"Ha ha ha ha!!"
The shrill laughter continued to echo in the forest, as if there were ghosts hiding in the darkness. Voldemort tilted his head back and opened his arms.
It was like hearing the funniest joke in the world.
Jonathan was ready to strike first. Before the other party could finish laughing, he raised the wand in his hand and shouted loudly.
"Expelliarmus expels you!"
Voldemort did not dodge or even make any movement as the red light hit his body directly.
But it didn't seem to bring any effect. He slowly lowered his raised head back to its original position, and then suddenly turned his head 180 degrees.
He showed his noseless face and praised with a creepy smile.

"Don't doubt your ears. The great Dark Lord has finally returned today, and you two Aurors are dead."

"Avada Kedavra!"
A green light filled with murderous intent shot towards Jonathan, but this guy seemed to have not yet understood what Voldemort had just said, and he just stood there in a daze.
Fortunately, Tom reacted quickly and raised the wand in his hand quickly. A red light shot out from his palm and flew towards the green light.

The two spells canceled each other out, and a small explosion occurred at the point of contact, and the blast wave blew Jonathan away.
After falling to the ground, he finally reacted.
Voldemort on the other side continued with that creepy smile, looking at Tom beside him and said with some surprise.
"Although my strength has only recovered less than 30% due to this body, it can still resist my killing curse."

He refused to kneel down because of the pain.
Voldemort just glanced at him, then turned his gaze to Jonathan, who was still in a daze, pointed his wand at him and spoke softly.

Looking at Voldemort's noseless face, Jonathan tried to raise his wand several times, but his right hand felt as if the bones had been pulled out.
He couldn't lift it up no matter what he did. Looking at his friend who was sweating profusely because of the pain, he seemed to have given up.
He knelt on his knees, slowly moved to Voldemort's feet, lowered his head and spoke humbly.
"Great Dark Lord, please accept my loyalty. I will be loyal to you. Please let both of us go."
"It seems that you are quite sensible about the current situation. If that's the case, then I will..."
Voldemort looked at the Auror kneeling on the ground in front of him and was just about to show off as usual.
However, he didn't expect that the boy would suddenly take out his wand, point it at his head and shout while he was talking.
