Chapter 311 Midnight Talk
“Dong dong dong dong!!!”
The anxious knock on the door reached Daniel Harvey's ears, but it made him feel relieved.
He quickly stood up from his seat and drank the glass of wine in front of him that was mixed with sedatives and sleeping pills.
I changed into loose pajamas, threw back the quilt and lay back on the bed, turned off the lights and waited quietly for the medicine to take effect.
The knocking stopped for a while, and then started again three minutes later.
He was already half asleep at this point, so he pressed the light switch again and slowly sat up from the bed.
Looking at the luxurious five-star hotel decoration in front of him, he gave a meaningful smile and shouted loudly.
"What's the matter? Look at the time now. If it's not urgent, we can talk about it tomorrow morning."
"Sir, sir, I have something very urgent to tell you."
The voice of driver Macduff came from outside the door.

Daniel Harvey cursed out loud, then staggered out of bed, walked to the door and opened it.

His face was half filled with an anxious expression.
"Don't be so flustered young man, sit down and have a glass of wine, how about sherry?"
The effect of the drug on Daniel Harvey had begun to take full effect. With a hint of drunkenness on his face, he pulled the young driver to the balcony of the room.
He forced the other person to sit down in his seat and walked to the wine cabinet nearby and took out a bottle of sherry.
And two square whiskey glasses, after pouring a full glass for both of them.
He staggered over with two glasses of wine and stuffed one of them directly into the other person's hand.
He held up another glass and clinked it with the other person's.
"Whatever happened, it's no big deal, drink something and calm down, we farmers in Texas know it."

"The real solution is to seal the windows, have a good dinner, and get drunk."

Daniel Harvey had a look of disdain on his face. He sat on a single leather sofa with his legs crossed, savoring the wine in his glass.
"If it's just an academic article, it doesn't matter." Driver Macduff became anxious again. He took another sip of the sherry in the glass and said anxiously.
"But this article is not an academic article at all, it's more like a scientific attack article."

"You've had too much to drink, young man." Daniel Harvey laughed disdainfully and said sarcastically.

"Not before." The driver, McDuff, was about to cry, and took out a document and a photo from behind him.
