Chapter 553: Strange Confrontation
Was it confusion or fear? This was the first time that Carl didn't know how to describe his feelings.
Looking at the face in front of him that was both familiar and unfamiliar, he actually didn't know what to do.
It has been so long that he has forgotten what he looked like.
Without stunning looks and extraordinary talent, the memory that the opponent had deliberately restored was actually just a bronze-level battle.
A rookie among a bunch of rookies accidentally became a hero.
He stared at the other person closely until he spoke again.
"There's no need to be so nervous. I don't want to ask you for anything in return. In fact, if it hadn't been for this accident."
"I may just stay in this corner of my body and sleep peacefully forever. I just spent a little time."
"Experience all your memories, including those in this world and that world."
"I can't comment on the quality of these two memories for now, but at least the two worlds look exactly the same."
"Same fucking stench of lust."
"Then what do you want?" Carl said. He tried hard to keep himself calm and make himself look more imposing in front of his other self.
But it was obvious that his move had no effect on the guy in front of him. The other party just smiled and shook his head contemptuously.
"Don't be so mean. In a sense, we are like the two sides of the same coin."
"He is the closest person in the world, surpassing everyone else, including Grindelwald and that old bee."
"We are the same person, just like two operating systems in a computer, every circuit and every electronic component of the entire computer hardware."
"I understand the logic of each operation as clearly as you do. I am not here to make a deal with you. Even if I am, it is not your turn to make an offer this time."
As he spoke, "Carl" pushed the iced tea in front of him forward, and the scene around the two of them immediately changed, and they were back in the familiar Hogwarts Great Hall.
But the scene around him did not look optimistic. Voldemort, who was about to turn into a pile of rotten meat, was looking at another one with a weird smile.
The monster was equally ugly and hard to look at. With its short stature and old hair, if I was not mistaken, it should be a goblin.
The two were engaged in a fierce argument, but judging from the current situation, it was clear that Voldemort was gaining the upper hand.
After all, the traditional skills of Slytherin House are no joke.
"Carl" pointed at the goblin and said with a helpless look on his face.
"If I'm not mistaken, the reason why I woke up and you became what you are now is because of that ugly guy."
"As a group in the magical world, goblins have existed for such a long time, so there must be some magic that we don't know about."
"But I didn't expect that their group could be so greedy that they would completely disregard their own survival."
Following the direction of the other party's finger and listening to the words he said, Karl's face darkened instantly.
Because of his previous promise to Old Bee and a certain annoying Pumpkinhead, he did not kill the goblins.
Instead, we have reached a series of cooperation agreements with the other party, and over the past few months, the other party has been very obedient.
But now it seems that I still underestimated the other party's greed. This race is just like a certain ethnic group of humans.
Greed has been engraved into the bone marrow and is irreparable. Only physical annihilation can save the other party.
He and Professor Snape tried every possible means and investigated almost all the poisoning magic used by mankind since ancient times.
But they simply forgot about this greedy group, and in the end the boat still capsized.
But even though he was extremely angry, Carl knew that now was not the time to be angry, so he looked at another self.
Asked loudly.
"What should we do now? Since I can still talk to you, it means I am not in a state of death."
"What exactly do you want? To have this body returned to you, or something else? As long as this predicament can be resolved."
"Everything is negotiable, and I always keep my word."
"hehe!!!"
"Karl" sneered disdainfully, rolled his eyes at the other party, and said with a pout.
"It seems that life experience can really change a person, an ordinary timid and cowardly person, after gaining all this."
"It's also starting to get so arrogant. I can tell you where we are right now. We are like Schrödinger's cat right now."
"You were poisoned by that ugly guy who looked like a fathead fish using a cumulative dose method. This poison will not destroy your body."
"But it will completely destroy a soul. The reason you haven't completely disappeared is only because there happens to be a soul in this body."
"Choose 2 out of 1. Today, one of us must disappear."
"What!!"
Carl couldn't believe it. He took a few steps back and began to keep a distance from the person in front of him.
All the muscles in his body tensed up again and he looked at the other person warily.
The other "Carl", on the other hand, seemed very calm and at ease, looking at the other person with an indifferent expression.
Said with some sarcasm.
"There's no need to do this. If you really wanted to take this body back, you would have done it before you were able to resist."
"Don't forget which two people made up my genes. When they were young, they both had people they loved."
"But I'm never as soft-hearted as you. I'm never as compromising as you."
This sentence was like a match that lit the fuse, instantly igniting Carl, who was just on guard, like a firecracker.
He looked at the other person with his eyes wide open and shouted loudly.
"Who do you think is compromising? You may not be able to understand the evil things I have done. I have plunged the entire British wizarding world into famine."
"I frightened the entire European wizarding world. I made the American Magical Congress bow down before me. Do you know how those wizards evaluate me?"
"But after doing all this, I turned out to be a kind-hearted person in the eyes of my other self."
"There is probably no better joke in the world than this."
"Oh! Really??"
"Karl" stood up pretending to be surprised, walked slowly to the other person step by step, and looked into those beautiful blue eyes.
He pointed his finger at the goblin outside and said.
"Then why is this thing, and the group of guys behind it, still alive in this world, including many things that were previously on your death list?"
"Why didn't they turn into dust as planned? They didn't dare to kill people and said they were cruel. They wanted to compete with the gods for a higher price."
"Can it be obtained through compromise? There is no room for compromise on that road."
