Chapter 1267: Met by Chance
"I think they want to take advantage of this turmoil," another person echoed.
"I'm afraid it's not that simple. Those guys may be coming for us." Someone else expressed a different opinion.
For a moment, everyone started talking, and there were different opinions about the pirates' purpose.
However, Aokiji did not participate in the discussion. He just stood there quietly, staring at the two soldiers who came to report, with a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
"Did you see anyone familiar?" someone asked.
"Yes, we found that among them are the pirate ships of Crocodile, one of the former Seven Warlords of the Sea, and Gekko Moriah!" There was a hint of surprise in the voice of the person who answered.
"What is Crocodile doing here?!" someone exclaimed, obviously very surprised by Crocodile's appearance.
"Moria dares to show up?!" Another person couldn't help but be surprised. After all, Moriah was also a famous pirate.
When they heard Crocodile's name, everyone was immediately excited and started talking.
"Didn't Moriah get defeated by Luffy? Why is he here?"
"Does he have some new conspiracy?"
"Hasn't the Sand Crocodile been hiding in the dark? How dare it show up in public this time?"
Everyone's doubts and speculations came one after another, and for a moment the whole scene became a little noisy.
At this moment, the soldier next to him continued: "Not only that, we also found some other suspicious ships, and they all seemed to be heading in the same direction..."
"What position?" Lieutenant General Chris asked suspiciously.
"It's the direction of the place where the Kuro Pirates fought before!" the other party explained quickly.
He stroked his chin thoughtfully, then said, "So, those guys are probably here to look for the Kuro Pirates!"
"Nonsense, are you here to cause trouble for us?"
"Admiral Aokiji, should we capture those pirates?" a naval soldier asked solemnly.
Admiral Aokiji frowned slightly upon hearing this, and said thoughtfully: "Capturing pirates? Hmm... that's a good idea."
He paused, then continued, "However, we cannot act rashly."
"Keep a close eye on them, and wait for Crocodile's ship to arrive. Tell them to leave here if the pirates agree to leave."
"Then the situation won't be too serious."
Admiral Aokiji swept his eyes over the people present and continued, "Before deciding whether to arrest them, we must first figure out their purpose."
"Yes, sir!" With this loud response, the soldiers ran away quickly like arrows.
On the sea, the wind was howling and the waves were surging, as if the whole world was swallowed up by this powerful force.
The lightning and thunder complemented each other, illuminating the dark night sky and making the sea area look even more eerie and terrifying.
On the rough sea, two pirate ships are gradually approaching each other. Under the impact of wind and waves, they collide with each other from time to time, making "bang bang" sounds.
"Asshole! Let your men hold the rudder!" On one of the ships, a pirate captain with a fierce face shouted in the direction of the other ship.
"It was obviously your ship that hit my ship! And you are the one making the first complaint?!" The pirate captain on the opposite ship retorted without showing any weakness.
"Bullshit!" The first pirate captain was so angry that he jumped up and down. He waved the sword in his hand and shouted viciously, "Do you want to start a war?!"
"Afraid of you?!"
Just when the two sides were on the verge of a fight, suddenly, an extremely huge pirate ship came rushing from behind them like a ferocious beast and slammed heavily in the middle of the two ships!
"Boom!" There was a loud noise that shook the earth. The huge pirate ship was like a mountain, instantly knocking the two already shaky ships apart. The two ships almost flipped over under the violent collision!
The pirate captains standing at the bow were frightened by the sudden change and turned pale. They held on to the side of the ship tightly and managed to stabilize themselves. On the huge pirate ship, a pirate captain with a sinister face was standing at the bow. He stared at a navy ship not far ahead and frowned.
"Captain, why are there so many naval ships here?" the first mate standing at the bow asked in astonishment.
The captain stared at the densely packed warships in the distance, and after a moment of silence, he slowly said: "There is danger, everyone be careful, if the navy moves, we will leave."
His voice sounded a little weak in the strong wind, but it revealed a sense of helplessness.
