Chapter 1455 Wake up
Kuro quickly changed his pants and put on his clothes. When everything was ready, he walked towards the side hall.
Entering the side hall, Kuro's eyes were immediately attracted by a figure. It was Kuro, whose body was wrapped in thick bandages, like a wounded mummy.
Kuro walked straight to Kuro and stared at him, with a hint of concern in his eyes. He asked, "Was this caused by Ace?"
Kro nodded somewhat unnaturally and replied in a slightly lowered voice: "Yes, I was defeated by that guy."
Kuro was silent for a moment, as if he was thinking about something. Then he slowly said, "It seems that Whitebeard really taught him a lot."
His words revealed his recognition of Ace's strength, but he did not comfort Cloe too much. After all, they were both men, and saying something comforting at this time might hurt Cloe's self-esteem.
Kuro patted Kro's shoulder gently, but this pat made Kro grimace in pain. Obviously, Kro's injury was much more serious than it looked.
"Where is Ace now?" Kuro asked calmly.
"He's in a holding cell and Zangao is guarding him," Kro replied in a direct tone.
Kuro thought for a moment, then said, "Bring him here. After all, he is here specifically to find my enemy. It doesn't seem right to hide from him."
Kuro was listening at the side, and seeing an eager expression on Kuro's face, he knew that the captain was going to teach Ace a lesson.
Kuro thought about Ace and sighed inwardly. He knew Kuro's temper. Once he was angered, he would become very irritable.
I can only silently wish that he can survive.
"I'll go call him right away." Clo said, preparing to turn and leave.
"No need, just let them shout Zangao. It's too slow for you to walk over like this." Kuro suddenly interrupted Kuro with a hint of a smirk in his tone.
When Kro heard this, black lines immediately appeared on his forehead. This bastard captain didn't care how badly he was injured, and he even complained about him walking slowly!
Kuro took a deep breath and tried to suppress the anger in his heart. He knew that arguing with Kuro would be useless and would only make him angrier.
So he turned to his men at the door and shouted, "Go and ask Zangao to bring Ace here."
"Yes, sir!" the men answered in unison, and one of them immediately ran away like an arrow.
Kuro walked to the chair at a leisurely pace and sat down with a creaking sound.
He muttered to himself, "This is really strange. I'm here just fine, why do I suddenly come to help those troublemakers?" As he spoke, he shook his head helplessly, as if he felt very helpless and annoyed about his situation.
After a while, a crisp sound of iron chains suddenly came from the door, and the sound was particularly harsh in the quiet environment.
Kuro's attention was immediately drawn to it, and he looked up towards the door.
As the sound of chains got closer, a figure appeared at the door.
Kuro looked closely and his eyes widened - he saw Ace standing there tied up like a dumpling. His whole body was tightly bound with seastone handcuffs, and he even had a thick seastone collar around his neck.
Behind Ace, there were five people following closely, each of them tightly holding a seastone chain, obviously to prevent Ace from escaping.
Seeing this, Kuro couldn't help but exclaimed: "Oh my God, have they used up all the supplies in the prison?" His tone was full of disbelief and ridicule.
Ace stared at Kuro with eyes that seemed to be spitting fire. The moment he saw Kuro, his pupils instantly filled with blood and his entire eyeballs turned blood red!
"Qro!!!!"
His roar exploded in the air like thunder, causing pain in the eardrums of those around him. This roar was filled with endless anger and hatred, making people shudder.
The five crew members standing behind Ace were startled by the sudden roar. They immediately tightened the chains in their hands, fearing that Ace would suddenly break free and rush out like a wild beast.
Kuro looked at Ace and the five nervous crew members, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a disdainful smile.
"What are you afraid of?" He said calmly, "This guy is a person with special abilities. After being suppressed by the seastone, he can't use any strength at all."
After saying that, Kuro walked down the stairs and slowly walked towards Ace. His steps seemed relaxed and confident, as if he didn't take Ace seriously at all.
"Kuro! I'm going to kill you!" Ace saw Kuro coming towards him, and the anger in his heart burned more and more fiercely. He widened his eyes, and used all his strength to break free from the shackles of the seastone chains, and rushed towards Kuro desperately.
The seastone chain made a "crackling" sound as Ace pulled it hard, and it was pulled straight. The five crew members looked very ugly when they saw this, and they used all their strength to barely stabilize Ace.
However, Ace's madness did not last long. Just as he was about to rush in front of Kuro, a muffled "bang" sound suddenly occurred.
Ace's body shook violently, his mouth opened so wide that an egg could fit in. He held his stomach tightly with both hands, a look of extreme pain on his face, and then he fell to his knees like a puddle of mud.
"You're really that stubborn." Kuro looked at Ace lying on the ground with a sneer on his face.
"You still have the strength even though you're wearing the seastone quilt." There was a hint of surprise in his voice, and he was obviously surprised by Ace's performance.
"I'm not killing you because I promised Whitebeard, not because I don't dare. You'd better remember this." Kuro's tone was cold and firm, as if warning Ace not to challenge his bottom line.
Ace was lying on the ground, his body trembling slightly due to the pain, cold sweat was pouring down his forehead, and Kuro's punch made him almost unable to make any sound.
