Chapter 1524 9 Snake Appears
Suddenly, a fierce wind swept over like a surging black wave, bringing with it a biting chill and a powerful sense of oppression. Dorag reacted with remarkable speed, stopping instantly, like a towering mountain rising from the clouds. Kettley's form gradually emerged from the wind, a sinister grin on his face, as if he had already secured victory.
"Want to support your subordinates? You have to get past me first." Kately said provocatively, his voice full of disdain.
"You're looking for death!" Dorag roared, his voice echoing through the air like thunder. A powerful aura erupted from him, distorting the air around him. In a flash, Dorag pounced on Kettley like an enraged lion. His fists, whistling like two cannonballs, smashed straight into Kettley.
Kettley wasn't to be outdone. With a flash of his body, he dodged Dorag's attack like a ghost, then swiftly counterattacked. A sharp blade flashed with cold light in his hand, and he thrust it towards Dorag's chest. Dorag dodged to the side, and the blade grazed his clothes, sending up a shower of shredded scraps.
The two engaged in a fierce battle in the sky, fists and kicks clashing, sparks flying. Each blow carried a force so powerful it seemed to tear the heavens apart. Dorag's attacks were as fierce as a storm, while Ketley, like a cunning fox, constantly dodged and counterattacked. Their figures moved across the sky at a dizzying speed.
………………
Meanwhile, the Kuro Pirates were enjoying a carefree vacation. The sun shone warmly on the beach, the waves gently lapping against the shore, and some of the crew members lay on lounge chairs basking in the sun, while others splashed happily in the sea, all filled with laughter and joy.
Ryan approached Kuro and asked curiously, "Captain, who do you think will win, the Revolutionary Army or the World Government?"
Kuro put his hands behind his head, crossed his legs, and said nonchalantly, "The Revolutionary Army, right?"
When Ryan heard this, his eyes widened and he said in surprise, "Revolutionary Army? I thought you were going to say the World Government. After all, the World Government looks so powerful."
Kuro raised the corner of his mouth slightly, revealing a meaningful expression, and said: "You underestimate the hidden power of the Revolutionary Army."
Ryan scratched his head, still a little confused, and asked, "What other high-end combat capabilities do those guys have that we don't know about?"
Kuro sat up straight, patted Ryan on the shoulder, and said, "It's not a question of combat power. The revolutionary army has accumulated a terrifying force over the years. Just like a large number of ants can kill an elephant, the 'seeds' they have sown around the world for so many years are now bearing fruit."
Just as Kuro said, after receiving the message from Dorag, the countries in the four seas that had been revolutionized before immediately chose to send troops without hesitation.
The warships hoisted their sails and set off in a mighty procession, like a group of merchants rushing to the market.
Even many countries in the New World have sent troops to support, but Ryan doesn't know this information yet.
If he knew, he would probably be shocked.
I saw warships leaving their respective countries, like giant steel dragons, rushing into battle with great momentum. The scene was spectacular just thinking about it!
"So, are we going to fight the revolutionary army next?" The Evil King asked curiously, his eyes shining like a child who has found a new toy.
Kuro curled his lips, crossed his arms, and said slowly, "That's probably the case. If nothing unexpected happens, it'll be like cooking rice without burning it. Everything has to go smoothly." Suddenly, the thought of the Heavenly King flashed through his mind. That thing should have been scrapped and useless by then. But for some reason, Kuro felt like a little mouse scratching at his heart, a sense that the Heavenly King might still reappear.
Three days later, a piece of intelligence fluttered into Kuro's hands like a playful bird. Kuro glanced at the intelligence, his lips curling into a meaningful smirk, as if he had just found a great bargain. "Oh, one or two of them couldn't help but jump out, eager to join in the fun."
The intelligence reported that Boa Hancock, the former Shichibukai Empress, had led the Nine Snakes Pirates to support the Revolutionary Army, brutally defeating the World Government's reinforcements with the ease of an adult beating a child. As Kuro read the intelligence in his hand, his mind flashed back to the Empress's captivating fruit ability.
"If she gets to the battlefield, I'm afraid those guys will surrender directly. I guess they won't even need to do anything. Just that face of hers will be enough to confuse the enemy." Kuro muttered to himself, shaking his head as he spoke.
"Hehe." When Kuro thought of those soldiers, whether they were from the Revolutionary Army or the World Government, he thought that they would probably look like crazy fans and shout the Empress' name at the top of their lungs, just like a group of crazy fans seeing a superstar. That scene was hilarious just thinking about it.
"This thing is a killer on the battlefield, better than any other weapon. If it stands there, the enemy will probably be thrown into disarray." Kuro smiled so hard that his eyes narrowed into slits, as if he had already seen the funny and interesting scene on the battlefield.
Kuro flicked the page, and the next page of information appeared before him. Hey, this was incredible! The current pillar of the Babao Navy was leading the entire Babao Navy to support the Revolutionary Army!
"Wow, those guys chose a new leader so quickly. Their efficiency is faster than rabbits giving birth to babies!" Kuro muttered as he quickly scanned the information below. His speed was like a hungry wolf pouncing on its prey.
Besides listing some national guards, the intelligence also surprisingly included a number of long-established pirate groups. Kuro's eyes widened, his mouth hanging open, and he couldn't help but grumble, "What did Dragon promise these guys? They're bringing all these old bastards out! Did he promise them a fortune after supporting the Revolutionary Army?"
A closer look revealed that much of the intelligence related to the pirate groups that had previously appeared during the Wang Zhi incident. Kuro curled his lips, his expression filled with disdain and a hint of sarcasm as he said, "Those guys are like old ghosts who have become spirits. Each one of them is cunning and sly, like a thousand-year-old fox. I wonder what tricks Dragon used to trick them."
As he spoke, Kuro imitated the tone of those old pirates, "Oh my, I heard that supporting the revolutionary army has its benefits, let's go and join in the fun, maybe we can get a big bargain!" He looked like a comedian.
"But even this isn't enough." Kuro stroked his chin, his eyes darting around like a calculating little fox. "These puny pirates, along with those seasoned pirate groups, are nothing more than appetizers in front of the behemoth that is the World Government. At best, they'll just give the World Government a burp."
"The World Government will definitely send more troops. When that happens, should I get involved?" Kuro muttered to himself, his tone as if he were debating whether to grab a discounted item at a supermarket. "If I go, I might get something for nothing, like finding a wallet on the side of the road. If I don't go, I'm afraid I'll miss out on the excitement, like missing out on a free concert."
But after thinking it over, Kuro decisively gave up. He smiled bitterly and shook his head, looking like a child who knew he had gotten into trouble. "If I show up, I'm afraid Dorag and Kettley will immediately put aside all their grudges and gather their forces to attack me."
"After all, being too strong will also lead to resentment."
