Chapter 1558 Arrival
It was a painful and humiliating memory, of them being bought and sold like commodities, subjected to torture and abuse. The murderous intent in her eyes shot straight to the sky, as if to burn the Saint of Satan to ashes.
Satan Saint frowned instantly. He hadn't expected those two words to trigger such a strong reaction from the Empress. "Why is this guy suddenly so murderous!" He was secretly puzzled. Before he could figure it out, the Empress had already taken action.
The Empress petrified the wound on her abdomen, and it instantly turned into hard stone, stopping the bleeding. Then, she and the giant snake attacked Saint Satan together!
The empress pretended to draw a bow with her hands and muttered something. Powerful energy waves shot out from her hands, like gorgeous meteors, and hit Saint Satan.
The giant snake also opened its bloody mouth and spewed out a stream of black venom. The venom had a pungent smell and corroded the surrounding air.
"Boom boom!!!" Facing the Empress' desperate attack, Saint Satan was caught off guard. He didn't expect that the Empress could still burst out with such powerful strength despite being injured.
He dodged quickly, but several energy waves still hit him, causing his body to tremble slightly and a trace of pain flashed across his face.
"You ignorant woman!" Saint Satan roared, a fierce glint in his eyes, and he decided not to hold back. He waved his hands, and an even more powerful force surged from his body, like a surging tide, sweeping towards the Empress and the giant snake.
The Empress and the giant snake felt this powerful force, but they did not retreat.
The empress gritted her teeth and continued to attack, and the giant snake followed closely beside her, fighting alongside her.
The Kuro Pirates' fleet was breaking through the clouds, leaving white streaks in the sky as it headed towards Rudin Island at full speed.
The sea breeze blew by, making the flags on the ship flutter, as if playing an exciting prelude to the upcoming war.
"Bulu bulu bulu." Inside the cabin, the distinctive chirping of the Den Den Mushi shattered the brief silence. Kuro quickly picked up the phone, his eyes revealing a calm and decisive look.
"Captain, a Den Den Mushi message just came from the front line, notifying all logistics troops to head to Rudin Island." Baot's voice came from the other end of the Den Den Mushi, with a hint of urgency.
He was standing in the communications room, surrounded by various communication equipment and documents. He was holding the microphone of the Den Den Mushi tightly, reporting the latest information to Kuro.
After hearing this, Kuro's mouth curled up slightly, and he immediately felt that his previous thoughts were correct.
He had long anticipated that there would be big moves on Luding Island, so he led a large force there without hesitation.
"I am leading a large force to Luding Island. You should choose the right time to evacuate." Kuro said calmly. He didn't want to put Baot in too dangerous a situation.
"No, my current status is not low, it will be useful for me to stay." Baot's face was full of righteousness. He straightened his back and his eyes revealed a determination.
But he knew in his heart that he had been an undercover agent in the army before, but had never sent back any useful intelligence, which made his position in the pirate group a bit awkward.
If he doesn't show some performance this time, he might never be able to pay off the debt he owes to the pirate group in this lifetime.
When he thought of the huge amount of debt, a cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
Kuro frowned slightly after hearing what Baot said, but then relaxed again. "Whatever you say. Contact me if there's anything else."
After saying this, Kuro hung up the Den Den Mushi. He believed that Baot knew his limits.
"The intelligence has been confirmed. They're engaged in a decisive battle on Rudin Island. Inform everyone, advance at full speed!" After hanging up the Den Den Mushi, Kuro spoke to Robin, who stood nearby. His voice was loud and powerful, filled with unquestionable authority.
Robin nodded, her graceful figure shifting slightly as she turned and walked out. She was going to convey the captain's orders to every crew member, so that the fleet could reach Luding Island as quickly as possible.
She walked on the deck, the sea breeze blowing her long hair, revealing her delicate and calm face. When the crew saw her coming, they all looked at her in awe.
Kuro closed his eyes and began to gather strength. A mysterious aura seemed to shroud his body, a substance that faintly glowed.
He was thinking about the battle situation on Rudin Island. He wondered how Dorag and the others were doing, and whether Saint Satan was still alive.
But he knew that since he was going to Luding Island, he had to clear everything!
"It's almost there! We're almost taking over this world!"
While Kuro was gathering his strength, the other crew members on the ship were also busy and nervous.
The helmsman gripped the rudder tightly, his eyes fixed on the sky ahead, adjusting the ship's course; the gunners checked the ship's cannons to ensure that they could exert their maximum power at the critical moment; the sailors shuttled back and forth on the deck, organizing various supplies and equipment.
As time went by, after a day and a half, the Kuro Pirates' fleet was getting closer and closer to Rudin Island.
From a distance, the vague outline of Luding Island can be seen, and faint sounds of fighting seem to be coming from the island.
Kuro opened his eyes, a sharp gleam in them. "Speed up, we're almost there!" he shouted, his voice echoing throughout the cabin.
After hearing the captain's order, the crew worked even harder.
The fleet drew faster waves in the clouds and rushed towards Luding Island like an arrow.
At this moment, the battle on Luding Island intensified! The cries of killing, the clashing of swords, and the explosion of energy intertwined like a frantic symphony of death, shocking the eardrums. Smoke filled the air, obscuring people's vision and making the entire battlefield seem even more eerie and terrifying.
