Chapter 18 Return to the West Sea
Little Rosa had been out at sea for so many days and finally met a living person.
"Hey! Where are you going, kid?"
Little Rosa was very surprised to see the boy going out to sea alone. After all, he looked younger than herself.
Can parents feel at ease if their child goes out alone like this?
Little Rosa never considered that she was also a little kid.
The young man looked straight ahead, standing straight, with his hands crossed in front of his chest, looking indifferent, and had no intention of answering little Rosa's question.
"Tsk! Why are you pretending?" Little Rosa muttered softly when she saw this. She couldn't stand this kind of little brat the most. They pretended to be adults, as if they were really adults, but in fact they looked like they were asking for a beating in the eyes of others.
The boy ignored what little Rosa said, instead he sat down, took the knife from behind, and wiped it with a rag. He looked as if he was taking care of his wife.
"Huh? Are you a swordsman?" Little Rosa had no intention of paying attention to this cool boy, but when she saw the knife in his hand, she couldn't help asking.
"So what?" This time the boy did not act cool and finally replied to little Rosa.
Seeing this, little Rosa picked up the raindrops hanging from her waist and said, "Hey, I'm a swordsman too! Do you want to compete?"
For a moment, little Rosa was filled with a desire to fight. Apart from sparring with her master, she had never truly competed in swordsmanship with others.
That shouldn't be called sparring with the master, but rather one-sided guidance. After all, even if you try your best, you can't hurt the master at all.
The boy's eyes lit up when he heard this, and he seemed to be very interested in anything related to swords.
"How good are you?" The boy was a rare genius in swordsmanship and believed that no one of his peers could surpass him.
"Ha! Beating you is no problem!" Little Rosa also has her own pride. In her heart, only Master Kavi can surpass her at the same age.
In fact, when little Rosa was his age, Kavi was still playing around and playing in the mud.
"Okay! There's a place just ahead. Let's go there to practice. I hope you won't let me down!" The young man became interested. He wanted to see how the person in front of him could beat him in swordsmanship.
After a while, the two came to a small island. After docking the boat, they began to compete.
The two stood opposite each other.
"Hey! Why don't you draw your sword!" The boy was annoyed when he saw little Rosa holding the sword in the scabbard but not drawing it.
"If you want me to draw my sword, that depends on your ability." Little Rosa obviously didn't take him seriously and was full of provocation. She just couldn't stand the boy's arrogant look.
"Humph, I hope you are really that strong, otherwise you will die!" After saying that, the young man drew out his long sword and held the handle with both hands.
"One sword style - Demon Slash!" The young man's way of fighting is to use a big move right from the start. He doesn't like to try.
The boy raised his knife and rushed towards little Rosa. There was a strange green light on the knife, and he swung it towards her suddenly.
"Ping!"
Little Rosa casually raised the scabbard, covered with a light layer of armed color domineering, and held it across her chest to block the boy's knife.
Sparks fly!
With a little force, the boy was knocked back a few steps.
"Hey, hey, are you kidding me? You don't even know Haki, and you want to use Ghost Slash? Are you trying to make me laugh to death?" Little Rosa mocked the boy in front of her mercilessly.
Indeed, the boy's swordsmanship was much better than those of his peers, but it was still not good enough in front of little Rosa, whose armament color covering move was much stronger than the boy's.
The boy looked incredulous, "What is this?!"
"Tsk tsk, you don't even know what domineering is, and you're still pretending like this. I thought you were so powerful?" Little Rosa continued to taunt. At this moment, her heart was filled with joy, as she finally experienced the feeling of sparring with her master.
It turns out that it feels so good to bully weaklings. No wonder my master always says “Can you do it?” when he beats me.
Kavi: I didn't, don't accuse me!
"Young man, you still have a long way to go." Little Rosa taught him in a mature manner.
The boy paused, came back to his senses, and returned to his original aloofness, "My name is Joracol Mihawk, what's your name!"
"My name is Karen Rosa!"
"I will remember you. I will definitely become stronger than you and become the world's greatest swordsman!"
"I'm not interested in being the greatest swordsman in the world, because I want to be the King of the Navy!" Little Rosa declared her ideal again.
Djorakol Mihawk did not respond, but turned around, stepped onto his ship and set off.
Seeing this, Little Rosa remembered what Master Kavi had said, and quickly shouted:
"My master once said that as long as you practice simple moves to perfection, you will be the strongest! Your moves are too fancy!"
Mihawk's mouth twitched when she heard that. How could it be fancy? He was obviously very handsome. However, what her master said seemed to make sense. Why not go back and give it a try?
"Aqiu!"
Kavi sniffed, puzzled, "Why do I sneeze so often recently? Do I really have a cold?"
Kavi has returned to the West Sea at this time. After wandering around for so many years, it is time to go home.
Westsea, O'Hara.
Coming to the familiar cottage again, Kavi felt a sense of familiarity in his heart. This place is still the best.
I walked into the house and looked around. I saw the familiar decorations and there was not a speck of dust on the table. Could it be that someone had cleaned it?
Kavi was wondering when a woman's voice came from outside the door.
"Huh? Uncle Kavi, you're back!"
Hearing the sound, Kavi walked out of the house and saw a white-haired woman holding a little girl who looked about one or two years old. He was immediately surprised and said:
"Olivia?"
When he saw who it was, it was Nicole Olivia. He looked at the little girl in her arms. Her black hair just fell to her shoulders. Her big, bright eyes like black grapes blinked at Kavi. She was so cute.
"Uncle Kavi! Why did you come back just now!?" Olivia said angrily when she saw that it was really Kavi. Uncle Kavi had been gone for almost five years and had not returned. If she had known that he had been away for so long, she would have stopped him.
Olivia has been eating and drinking at Kavi's place for so many years that her appetite has become spoiled by Kavi, and she always feels that the other food she eats is not quite up to par.
"I thought you were dead outside? It's really worrying!" Olivia continued to lecture Kavi.
Kavi felt warm at heart when he heard this. Olivia was his first friend in this world. It felt good to have someone care about him.
"Hahaha, I think you're missing my barbecue?" Kavi joked.
Olivia blushed when she heard this, and stammered:
"No, no, I'm obviously worried about your safety!"
Olivia's eyes were evasive and she didn't believe what she said. Although she was indeed worried about Kavi's safety, she missed the meals Kavi cooked more.
But I will never admit it, what can you do to me? Thinking of this, Olivia raised her head and said confidently:
"Yes, that's right. I'm just worried about your safety, Uncle Kavi. You don't know that I come here to see you every few days."
Kavi didn't expose her, after all, she did come to clean his little house often.
"Okay, okay, I'll make you a feast today!"
