Chapter 37: Proud Mihawk
A month later.
An unknown island.
Kavi put the ship into the system space to avoid a situation like O'Hara's.
After drifting for a month, Kavi didn't know where he was now.
He had no purpose in going to sea. He just let things take their course, wandering around, bullying the weak, and experiencing life.
As I stepped onto the island, a sense of desolation came over me.
It couldn't be a deserted island, Kavi couldn't help feeling a little disappointed.
I suddenly felt bored. After drifting for a month, I couldn't see a single person.
Kavi walked towards the depths of the island. The surroundings were very quiet, which was a little unusual.
Just as Kavi was puzzled, a baboon suddenly jumped out with a big knife that looked like a cross in his hand.
He was quite strong, and was followed by a group of baboons, each of whom was staring at Kavi with a weapon in his hand.
"Whoa whoa..."
There was also a roar coming from his mouth, as if warning Kavi.
Kavi was delighted when he saw this. This place seemed familiar. Could it be where that person lived?
That would be fun.
Ignoring the baboons, Kavi continued walking deeper into the island.
The leading baboon looked angry when he saw this.
"Roar!!!"
He let out a roar, swung his arms forward, and all the brothers behind him attacked Kavi.
Want to drive this outsider out.
Baboons are very territorial and intelligent.
Faced with these baboons, Kavi had no interest in fighting.
He revealed a hint of his domineering aura, which scared away many baboons.
Kavi was a little surprised that he didn't faint. Although he only released a trace of domineering aura, this was the top-level domineering aura.
You can imagine how powerful it is. It seems these baboons are not simple.
The leading baboon looked at Kavi deeply, then waved his hand, turned and left, and many of his younger brothers followed closely behind.
Kavi continued to walk deeper, and soon he saw a castle located deep in the forest.
It has a Western classical atmosphere and is slightly eerie.
A young man with an arrogant look stood in front of the castle, waving a cross sword in his hand.
Kavi recognized the sword at a glance, the black sword - Night!
The supreme sword!
The identity of the young man in front of him was obvious. He was the most powerful swordsman of the future - Djordje Mihawk.
"Hey! Old man, who are you? Get out of here!"
Mihawk stopped and turned to look at the strange old man who had entered his territory.
Kavi's face darkened. I'm only in my fifties, with just a few white hairs, and you call me an old man.
The boy seemed to have never experienced the beatings of society.
"Young man, I'm lost. Can I stay at your place for a while?"
Kavi looked embarrassed and pretended to be a pitiful old man.
Who is Mihawk? He doesn't care if you get lost or enter his territory. You either leave on your own or he beats you to death.
"Old man, I'm warning you, leave quickly, or I won't be polite!" He glanced at Kavi with sharp eyes.
He is no philanthropist.
As expected of you, Mihawk, you are aloof, disdainful, and don't respect the elderly or the young. It's not good for young people to have such a distorted personality.
Kavi showed a helpless look and stopped pretending to be pitiful.
"I want to leave, but I don't have a boat."
Mihawk was very upset. No boat? Are you kidding me?
There are no other islands or ships within hundreds of miles of here. Did you fly here?
"I don't care, just leave immediately, or don't blame me for being rude!"
Mihawk swung the black knife in his hand and pointed it at Kavi.
The meaning is very clear, if you don't leave, I'm going to take action.
Kavi was not moved at all by this, and even picked his nose, with a calm expression, "If I don't leave, what do you want? Are you going to bully an old man like me?"
Mihawk doesn't have any respect for the elderly and love for the young in his mind. He who is stronger is right, no matter who you are.
"Humph!"
Mihawk said nothing more, swung his arm, and a slash came out from the tip of the blade, attacking Kavi.
Without holding back, the ordinary slash contained enormous power.
Kavi slightly turned sideways to avoid the sword light.
Mihawk was a real ruthless guy, and he did what he said. An ordinary person would have died under the sword light.
However, the power of this sword light is too dispersed, and its power is greatly reduced when it reaches a distance, so the swordsmanship needs to be improved.
"Boy, this won't work. How can such a slow sword energy hit anyone?"
Kavi looked disdainful and full of sarcasm, "Boy, you can't do it. You need more practice."
"Huh?" Mihawk paused, obviously not expecting Kavi to dodge his attack.
Although it was just a casual attack from him, it was not something that most people could dodge.
It seems that this old man has something, but not much.
Then, Mihawk swung his arm again, and a dazzling sword energy burst out, attacking Kavi at a high speed.
This time it is obviously more powerful and faster.
The sword energy arrived in front of Kavi in the blink of an eye.
Mihawk watched the scene calmly, as if he had already seen the result of Kavi being cut in half.
However, Kavi only moved his body slightly, and the sword energy passed by him.
"Oh!"
Split the big tree behind into two parts.
Kavi yawned, his sarcasm at its peak, "That's it? Boy, you're not weak either, are you?"
Mihawk was shocked. The first time was fine, he just attacked casually, but the second time he was serious, yet the old man in front of him still dodged it easily.
Is it the seeing and hearing Haki? But I also have the seeing and hearing Haki, why doesn’t it have this effect?
Mihawk questioned in his heart, unable to understand how such a fast attack could be avoided even with Observation Haki.
Kavi just wanted to laugh. This was not ordinary Observation Haki. Ordinary Observation Haki might not be able to be avoided, but this was predicting the future.
Can that be the same?
"Hurry up, boy, use whatever tricks you have. I am tired and need to rest in this castle."
Kavi acted as if it was a matter of fact, completely ignoring Mihawk's wrinkled face.
You want to rest at my house? Have you asked for my opinion?
Mihawk's emotions were somewhat unstable due to Kavi's manipulation.
"Get out of here, you old bastard!"
The enraged Mihawk held the knife in both hands and slashed wildly, with countless sword moves coming at him.
Kavi dodged every sword energy accurately as if he was strolling in the garden.
Mihawk kept swinging desperately, but Kavi easily dodged all the sword energy.
Until Mihawk was exhausted and out of breath.
"Kid, who told you to swing the sword like that? Isn't that pure brute force? The power used in each sword energy is too dispersed. Not only does it consume your physical strength, but it also has little power."
"If all swordsmen are like you, why bother practicing swordsmanship? Just practice physical strength every day."
Mihawk looked gloomy and said, “You can say I’m a wimp, but you can’t insult me for not knowing how to use a sword.”
"Who are you to say that to me? Am I a swordsman or are you a swordsman? I just dodged a few attacks. What qualifications do you have to point fingers at me?"
Mihawk said the longest sentence ever, and was obviously very angry with Kavi.
