Chapter 14 The first contact

Li Heng took the two of them to the prepared seats, sat them down, and began to pour water for them. He completely became a waiter tonight.

Li Heng knew that Tony must be really angry because of Pepper's reaction, but it was not Pepper's fault because she didn't know what happened.

So Li Heng felt that he couldn't go too far, mainly because he sensed a murderous aura coming from the kitchen, and Li Heng's neck felt cold, so he could only explain first, otherwise the old man would rush out from the kitchen and slap him twice.

"Don't be angry, Mr. Stark. I'm a college student now. I usually come home to help my grandfather with work when I'm free. I just happened to come back from school these few days."

As he spoke, Li Heng winked at Tony, indicating that he had already explained it and he had no other intentions.

Pepper also stood up and pulled Tony and said:

"Hey, Tony, you can't do this, sit down and eat properly, okay?"

After being persuaded by the two, Tony finally sat down again. Then, when Pepper wasn't paying attention, he raised his head like Li Heng did before.

Li Heng understood what he meant. He meant that he won this time.

Only then did Tony come to his senses and realized that he had overexerted himself because he had secretly competed with one of Li Heng's students before but failed to win, and Pepper noticed something was wrong.

Pepper's attention was successfully diverted again. She thought that Tony was really like this because he met his schoolmates, so she didn't doubt anything anymore.

By the end of the meal, Pepper liked the dishes made by the old man very much and was very satisfied. However, Tony was a little uncomfortable with Chinese food, although the old man had made changes over the years according to the tastes of American people.

Finally, the old man came out to chat with Pepper and asked if there was anything unsatisfactory about tonight's meal or anything that needed improvement.

While they were chatting, Li Heng saw that Tony didn't eat much, so he went to the kitchen and quickly made a cheeseburger that Tony liked.

Li Heng swore that he just wanted to improve Tony's favorability. Anyone who has seen the movie knows that when it comes to friends, Tony is a perfect person.

And by becoming friends with him, Li Heng will have an excuse to officially enter the main storyline of Marvel.
