Chapter 7 Lawyer Matt

The two came to Hell's Kitchen, and Li Heng took Lin Yi to find a law firm.

"How come I didn't know that you knew a law firm here?" Lin Yi felt strange. He had never heard of Li Heng having any lawsuits.

"I met him when I was in college and asked him to help me solve the problem of tuition loan."

Lin Yi nodded, indicating that he understood.

Pushing open the door of the firm, although Lin Yi had a hunch that a law firm located in Hell's Kitchen would not have a very good environment, the scene inside still shocked him.

There were a few tables inside, piled with documents, and two men were sitting at the tables talking about something.

The only lady, seeing the guests coming, quickly stood up and poured two glasses of water for Li Heng and Lin Yi.

"Thank you Karen."

Li Heng took the water and thanked the lady.

Karen Page asked.

"I have something to ask, so I came here."

The two people who were talking also noticed the arrival of the guest and stopped talking.

Li Heng said:

"Lin Yi, this is the lawyer I was talking about, Matt Murdoch, and next to him is Foggy Nelson. The two of them opened this law firm together. This lady is Karen Page.

Also, even though Matt is blind, his lawyer qualities and skills are no less than those of famous lawyers. You will never go wrong if you ask him for advice."

It turns out that the lawyer Li Heng was talking about was Matt Murdoch.

Matt Murdock lost his eyesight due to an accident when he was a child. However, Matt later became a disciple and later became the superhero Daredevil. Later, he and his classmate and friend Foggy Nelson opened a law firm and hired Karen Page as a secretary. The careers of the three of them were very successful, and Karen became Matt's girlfriend. At the same time, Matt continued to appear as Daredevil and deal with various super villains.

Karen asked Li Heng and the other man to sit down, then greeted Matt, and then Lin Yi talked about the problems he encountered.

After much deliberation, the two finally decided to open the company on Wall Street, but the next problem was the high rent.

After returning home, Li Heng was still worried about the initial capital. It was obviously unrealistic to rely on just him and Lin Yi, so he had to find another way.

When Li Heng was worried about funds, he didn't know that his every move was being tracked and monitored by SHIELD.

When Nick Fury learned that Li Heng and Lin Yi went to meet Matt today, he had someone investigate Lin Yi and Matt as well, and finally set his target on Lin Yi.

Li Heng saw that this was the Black Widow. How could she be defeated by him? He turned around and prepared to use the people around him as a breakthrough point.

So Li Heng walked into Lin Yi's store and said to the Black Widow: "Ms. Natasha, I know your intention, but I don't want you to continue investigating me. I don't have any opinion about you, and I don't want to have anything to do with you. Please don't disturb my life anymore."

Natasha was chatting with Lin Yi. She was very happy when she saw Li Heng coming over. It was a good opportunity for her to listen to what they were saying up close.

But Li Heng called out her name directly, which caught her off guard. She could only pretend not to understand what Li Heng was saying.

"I don't understand what you are talking about."

"It's okay. It doesn't matter if you don't understand, as long as the person behind your headphones understands."

Nick Fury realized that his and SHIELD's arrangements had been seen through by this person, but he was not sure what he knew, so he ordered Natasha to retreat first and wait until he came back.

When Black Widow left, she took advantage of the physical contact with Lin Yi to stick a small listening device on him.

But how could Li Heng, who knew the nature of SHIELD, allow the eavesdropping device to continue to exist?

He took it off Lin Yi and destroyed it directly.

When Lin Yi heard Li Heng say that she contacted him because she wanted to investigate Li Heng, he became very angry and started cursing.

Li Heng told him to calm down and relax, it was not a big deal, and explained:

Lin Yi agreed and said that he would not tell anyone.

After Black Widow went out, she was afraid that Li Heng would follow her, so she walked around for a long time before returning to the surveillance car. As soon as she got in the car, she was told that the bug she left on Lin Yi had been destroyed.

Natasha couldn't help but wonder who was so familiar with her and S.H.I.E.L.D.

The same question also appeared in Nick Fury's mind. Li Heng's behavior made him more suspicious that Li Heng had ulterior motives, so he did not take Li Heng's warning to heart.

Because Li Heng seemed to know a lot of information about S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury once again asked the agents to investigate Li Heng's life experiences from childhood to adulthood, and to conduct a secret internal inspection to see if someone inside had leaked the information to Li Heng.

Here, Li Heng and Lin Yi talked about where to raise funds, and made an appointment with Lin Yi to go and look for an office space in the next few days, and then rent it directly when the funds are in place.
