Chapter 18 Don't Stay Up Late

"I'm curious, you like to talk so much, but you don't want to get married, aren't you afraid of being suffocated?"

Yan Luoman was speechless, "I usually don't like to talk."

"That?"

"I'm afraid you'll be embarrassed."

After Yan Luoman finished speaking, she buried her head in her food and decided in her heart that she would never speak to him again.

Fu Sinian raised the corner of his mouth, "You don't talk too much only when you're with me, do you?"

Yan Luoman buried her head in eating. After all, she had just made the decision to ignore him.

"If you don't say anything, I'll take it as your acquiescence."

"No." She replied calmly.

"There are so many people who like me, and adding you won't make any difference to me."

She rolled her eyes and continued to ignore it.

The meal was finished amid Yan Luoman's quarrelsome mood and Fu Sinian's inexplicable happiness.

Fu Sinian did not leave in a hurry. He slowly walked to the pavilion in the courtyard and sat on a recliner.

Yan Luoman stood there for a while and felt that she looked especially like his maid, so she simply sat down on the chair next to her.

After a while, Su Tianyu appeared with a small can of tea in his hand.

"This is this year's new tea. Do you like tea, sister-in-law?" he asked as he sat down in front of the Kung Fu tea set.

"Brother, guess who gave me this tea?" Su Tianyu asked Fu Sinian.

"Not interested in."

"Liang Shiluo! She has been coming to me lately to ask where you have been."

Su Tianyu said this heartlessly, and then realized that Yan Luoman was there, and quickly explained: "Sister-in-law, I assure you that my brother and Liang Shiluo have absolutely no relationship! They haven't even touched their little fingers!"

She looked around nervously.

Su Tianyu was shocked and realized that he had said the wrong thing.

But he still showed no sign of repentance, and he said again: "Sister-in-law, my brother is afraid that you will not be close to him anymore, so he wants me to shut up!"

Yan Luoman was shocked and looked at Fu Sinian in disbelief.

Fu Sinian closed his eyes slightly, pretending not to know that her eyes were asking questions.

As he spoke, Su Tianyu had already taken out his cell phone.

Fu Sinian opened his eyes and spoke slowly: "Do you want to die?"

His voice was cold.

Yan Luoman couldn't help but shiver.

Su Tianyu was so frightened that he ran away.

The surroundings suddenly became quiet, and the lid of the kettle for boiling tea was bouncing.

Fu Sinian stood up and sat down in the seat where Su Tianyu had just sat. He carefully brewed a pot of tea and brought a cup of tea to Yan Luoman using the tea set.

Yan Luoman was also frightened by him, and quickly picked up the glass and drank it all in one gulp.

"Hot, hot, hot..." She stuck out her tongue and screamed incoherently.

"Are you stupid?" Fu Sinian frowned slightly, walked over with a glass of cold water, and poured it directly into her mouth, relieving the pain in her mouth.

Then he took her into the store, asked Su Tianyu for some ice cubes, asked her to hold the ice cubes in her mouth all the way, and took her to the hospital.

Fu Sinian watched TV and handled affairs on his mobile phone.

Fu Sinian turned the doorknob and opened the study door. He immediately saw the rhythmic figure squatting on the ground, busy and happy.

Fu Sinian walked over and took off her headphones.

She looked frightened and terrified, and she really hadn't gotten used to having another person in the house.

He looked down at her, "It's time to go to bed."

Yan Luoman calmed down her panic and angrily snatched the earphones from his phone, "Fourth! Don't interfere with me!"

After saying this harshly, she put on her headphones, turned her back to him, pointed in the direction of the door, and said, "Get out!"

Fu Sinian was stunned and wanted to say something, but saw that she put on her headphones again.

He hesitated for a moment, then simply picked her up from where she was squatting.

Yan Luoman screamed: "What are you doing?! Let me go!"

Fu Sinian's strength did not allow her to resist successfully. He easily carried her back to the room and threw her on the big bed.

She was furious, pulled off her headphones and yelled at him: "Do you know how to respect others?"

"I wasn't kidding you on the day we got the certificate," he said calmly.

Yan Luoman’s thoughts went back to the day when she got the marriage certificate. She fainted that day, and Fu Sinian said she almost died of sudden death.

"That's none of your business!" Although she was frightened, she still insisted.

"You died in my hands, and I can't explain it." He continued calmly, but his tone did not allow anyone to refuse.

"Then get out!" Yan Luoman still didn't calm down. She hated everything and everyone that disturbed her.

Fu Sinian looked at her quietly and said, "Sleep well. You still have a lifetime to do what you like. If you stay up late like this, you may die in the next moment, and your dream will be interrupted."

This was the first time he spoke so earnestly about advising someone to go to sleep.

Yan Luoman was stunned. Although she knew what he said made sense, she was still unhappy and stood up to leave.

Fu Sinian grabbed her again and threw her back on the bed, "If you want to force me to do it, just say so."

Yan Luoman was timid and went to the bathroom in the room obediently.

Fu Sinian raised the corner of his mouth with satisfaction.

But there was no sound from inside for a long time.

Fu Sinian knocked on the door.

"I hate you!" she said in a choked voice.

Fu Sinian was slightly stunned, feeling both angry and amused. He was angry because she was too disobedient, and amused because she was too cowardly and only dared to yell at him through the door.

Fu Sinian didn't say anything else. He went back to the bed and lay down.

After a long time, the sound of bathing was heard from inside.

Fu Sinian knew that there was no bath towel inside and she didn't bring pajamas, but he was too lazy to pay attention to her.

The sound of water stopped.

She hesitated inside for several minutes, and finally could not help it, so she slowly pushed the door open, leaving a gap to observe Fu Sinian's current condition.

His eyes were closed and his breathing was steady; he might have fallen asleep.

She quietly opened the door and walked carefully towards the closet.

Fu Sinian opened his eyes, just for a moment, and closed them again.

His breathing quickened.

Even with his eyes closed, the image in his mind was still clear, and he could even imagine what she was looking like at the moment through the sound coming from her.

Yan Luoman quickly put on her pajamas, breathed a sigh of relief, tiptoed to open the door, and walked out again.

I heard her close the door.

Fu Sinian turned over and continued to sleep.
