Chapter 397: Not like a young man after all?
Obito left. He didn't come here to find Naruto or capture the Nine-Tails. It was not the time yet.
He just came over to take a look and wait for Haneda to show up.
He knew that as long as he stayed in Konoha, Haneda would find him sooner or later.
But he didn't expect that there was still a huge amount of Minato's chakra left in Naruto's body.
Now Obito doesn't want to talk to Minato, perhaps out of guilt, or perhaps for other reasons.
The vortex of divine power disappeared, and the masked man in the black robe seemed to have never been there.
There was only a long sigh in Naruto's mental space.
I don’t know whether it was out of guilt for not being able to protect the students, or out of shame for my own education after seeing the students fall into darkness.
As the master of the spiritual space, Naruto naturally heard Minato's words and sighs very clearly.
He asked doubtfully:
"Dad, do you know him? Isn't he Uchiha Madara? The ninja who was a contemporary of the Shodaime-sama."
Minato felt that there was no need to hide anything from his son. As long as he kept watching, his son would not tell anyone about such things.
He replied: "That person is not Uchiha Madara, but one of my students, named Uchiha Obito."
"I never thought it would be like this... He is not dead, he lives on as Uchiha Madara."
Naruto said, "Obito? Isn't that Uncle Haneda and Uncle Kakashi's friend? I remember Uncle Kakashi used to go to the memorial every morning to give flowers."
When Obito attacked Minato, Naruto had just been born and had no memories of his infancy.
Naruto had no recollection of what Obito did to Minato.
When he heard that Obito was Minato's student, he thought Obito was a good person.
After all, Kakashi treated him very well and often treated him to his favorite pork bone chashu ramen.
Because I love my father, I naturally have a good impression of another student of my father.
Minato did not bring up the subject of Obito again and remained silent.
He had no intention of telling his children about the grudges, love and hate of the previous generation.
He just wanted Naruto to live a carefree life.
Perhaps Kushina had the same idea, so when Obito had no intention of attacking Naruto, she didn't say anything.
Seeing that his parents remained silent, Naruto was very curious about the name Uchiha Obito.
He remembered that Uncle Haneda often mentioned this name in a book he wrote a few years ago, and planned to go back and read it.
…………
On the other side, after Obito used Kamui and disappeared, he did not leave Konoha, but came to the Hokage Rock high above Konoha.
He came to confirm Haneda's news, and he would not leave until his goal was achieved.
Standing on the Hokage Rock, you can almost overlook the entire Konoha.
Obito's feet were right on top of the statue of the Fifth Hokage.
Nearly ten years have passed, and Konoha has changed a lot.
The ninja school in the front has been renamed Konoha's No. 1 Ninja School, and further in front is the Hokage Building. There haven't been any major changes.
But around the Hokage Building, the central area of Konoha, people's clothing changed from traditional to modern. Even the houses on the roadside changed from low one or two stories to more than ten stories, several dozen meters high.
When Obito looked from here, he saw that the only things that hadn't changed much were the Uchiha clan and the Hyuga clan, two families with long histories.
He looked away, suddenly feeling bored.
However, he saw a familiar figure at the Ninja School.
Naruto was running hurriedly towards the school he used to attend. This feeling was very familiar to Obito. He wondered if Naruto was going to be late.
What made him even more familiar was that there was a child in front of Naruto who was also running hard, and it seemed that Naruto was very familiar with him.
This feeling is so familiar.
Isn’t it just me and Haneda back then?
"I wanted to buy sweet-scented osmanthus and drink it with me, but it turned out to be different. I was a young man traveling."
Obito recited the poem written by Haneda in My Struggle, and he immediately understood the artistic conception of the poem.
“There’s no going back.”
"Why can't I go back?"
Haneda came from the path behind the Hokage Rock and came to his right side without any warning.
Unfortunately, Obito did not answer, but turned to talk about another matter:
"I heard you were going to die, so I came to see you."
Haneda said, "Then you should be alert. The news I asked Shikaku to spread was three days ago. It took at least three days for it to spread from Konoha to Amegakure."
"What do you mean?" Obito frowned, and he immediately understood what Haneda meant.
Haneda smiled. The seeds of doubt will always sprout once they are planted. Besides, Obito didn't believe in Black Zetsu from the beginning.
"That was the news I released on purpose. What disease do you think is there in the ninja world that can infect the immortal body?"
"You have stolen Konoha's confidential files, right? The Shodaime died of a heart attack, which was after Uchiha Madara died."
Haneda deliberately emphasized the word "death".
As if being deceived, Obito snorted and said angrily:
"This little trick can only fool those ninja villages that hate you. As someone who also has a sage body, I know clearly how tenacious it is."
Still so arrogant...Haneda smiled unkindly.
Obito seemed to realize something and quickly changed the subject by talking about business:
"You probably want to set a trap. After the funeral, you want those ninja villages and those daimyos who hate you to death to attack Konoha and then wipe them out in one fell swoop, right?"
Haneda had no intention of hiding anything and hummed.
If nothing unexpected happens, the next ones to arrive in Konoha will be Nagato and Konan.
Then will be the time for a complete showdown.
"Then let's end everything at the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kanao."
After getting the answer he wanted, Obito left.
The next moment after leaving Konoha, he came to the place where Uchiha Madara was buried.
This place is located more than ten miles away from Konoha, the former homeland of the Uchiha clan in Minamigawa.
An unnamed tombstone was built near the Minamiga River. This was the place where Madara and Hashirama first met and also the place where they broke up for the first time.
When Madara was choosing a cemetery, perhaps out of his obsession with Hasila, he ordered Obito and Black Zetsu to be buried there after their death.
As for why the tombstone is nameless.
First, Madara’s name itself is a taboo, and second, Madara believed that he would definitely be resurrected, so he did not leave his name.
Obito naturally didn't come here to pay tribute to his grandfather.
He took out a shovel and dug out Madara's coffin from behind the tombstone.
He opened the coffin and revealed Ban's body. There was no sign of decay and the body was preserved intact.
Obito used Kamui to suck Madara's body into the Kamui space, then closed the coffin and dug it back in.
In order to prevent Black Zetsu from discovering that he had moved the coffin, he carefully filled it back in according to his memory when he was digging.
