However, Deoxys's moves failed to work. Archaeopteryx let out a loud roar, and a tremendous force emanated from its body, tearing the Psychic energy surrounding it to shreds.
It would be a pipe dream for Deoxys to try and limit Archaeopteryx with Psychic-type energy.
Archaeopteryx stared at Deoxys in front of it. With a flap of its wings, it instantly covered dozens of meters. Its sharp bone claws, emanating Dark-type energy, lashed out, creating gusts of howling wind as it lunged at Deoxys.
Malicious pursuit!
Although Archaeopteryx was enormous, it was by no means slow.
Seeing the claws rushing towards him, Deoxys retreated at top speed, trying his best to create distance, but to no avail.
Seeing that he couldn't create any distance, Deoxys' pupils suddenly contracted, and pale purple super energy surged wildly on his body, hastily condensing into a semi-transparent energy shield.

Deoxys reacted extremely quickly, his body transforming into a streak of light as he moved sideways, dodging the attack.
The rock energy cleaved through the clouds, flew into the ground with a deafening roar, and blasted a huge crater in the ground.
But as soon as it regained its footing, it felt a strong sense of pressure coming from behind. The Archaeopteryx was staring at it intently, abandoning Froslass and Darkrai, and was giving chase.
Archaeopteryx knew that it was better to cut off one finger than to injure another. Since Deoxys was already injured, it couldn't let the tiger return to the mountain; it had to be dealt with first!
Once you take down one Pokémon, this battle will become much easier.
